Dr. Matt Endres: Drum set and History Professor at the University of Wisconsin
This week's episode features Dr. Matt Endres of the UW Madison!Dr. Endres accepted a faculty position at the University of Wisconsin in 2017. Here he acts as professor of drum set, jazz history, and is the drumline coordinator for the UW Marching Band.Dr. Endres received his Bachelor of Music at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, his Masters of Music at the University of Illinois, and his Doctorate of Music and Ethnomusicology at the University of Illinois.Dr. Endres has been adjudicating music festivals and competitions extensively throughout the United States over the last decade. He has performed as a sideman and band leader in national and international venues.
