Subconscious Interactions, Share your Goals
How is your life filling your brain? We know most of our actions are a result of our subconscious so we should be aware of everything it interacts with. Is the majority of what you fill your brain with helping you evolve? Or is it causing you to move away from your goals? Take the challenge of sharing your life goals with the people you spend the most time with. Ask them what theirs are and take note of how this conversation makes you feel. What emotions bubble up? Do you get a feeling in your gut of comfort or discomfort? Be more aware of what you're feeding your subconscious, use it to your advantage!

Monday Let's get it! Would you take a 10 flight just to land back where you started? That;'s how I see going through life without knowing the big picture. What are you working towards? Knowing where you're headed makes the journey much more enjoyable and easier to navigate. Having constant awareness of my "why" fills me with energy to make progress. I stay on my path no matter what gets in my way because that destination is too appealing. What's your destination? Start working towards what it takes to get there!

Sunday Funday with a side of Patience
Frustrated simply because I have to be more patient. I set high goals for myself and when I find myself trying to achieve things by skipping over a few steps I lose sight. I want to jump higher! I want to make progress! A LOT OF PROGRESS NOW! But I need to remember that any progress IS progress. Take a step back from the situation and understand what step you're trying to go next and make sure it's the very next step on your path. Stay patient, stay focused, make progress.

Friday Fire!
The weekend gives me 2 days back to back to use my energy when and where I want. That's a huge goal for me as I learn how I work best. I feel very aligned with what I value you most which is helping others be themselves and find their uniqueness. My experience of life has been elevated and it's making everything I do, more productive, more fulfilling and simply more fun! Have a great weekend and start defining what success means to you. Start with tiny baby steps and build momentum that will turn that spark into a huge fire blazing effortlessly!

Living in Flow - Ch. 2 Meaningful History Selection
Your life is created by the choices you make. Which branch do you want to put yourself on? Self Knowledge is the hardest part but essential for making choices that align with your intent. Your actions strive to help you reach the intended qualitative experience, but it not play out in the way you thought. Take note of the circumstances you're in as result of your choices. Let that be insight into who you are as a person, so you can make better decisions in the future.

Subjective comes from ideas and opinions about experiences while objective is made up of experiences themselves.

The Comfort Zone Fish
Your subconscious wants you to stay safe by avoiding the unknown. You have to get out of your comfort zone to GROW! Think of it as that game where the fish keeps growing the more fish it eats but it can only eat fish its own size or smaller. As it grows it has more, bigger fish it can eat. The more experiences that you have, the more unknowns you bring into the known. Those known experiences don't bring anxiety anymore and your scope has grown. Now you're available to bigger and better experiences to enjoy life more!

A Motivation Morning with Mike Barrins
My good friend Mike was in town so he jumped on the morning podcast with me and asked great questions! How has my awareness has changed from reading more books? How has it affected my mindset during dunk sessions? We also talked about how I got into Life Coaching and my priorities day to day. My sleep and nutrition are the foundation to my overall physical and mental energy which is most important to me to maximize my life. Cosmos is Responding, Take BOLD Actions!
The cosmos is responding to the actions you take. Whether these actions and choices are aligned with your core values or not... it's responding. The cosmos only know how to respond by your actions. So, be clear with your purpose, define your core values, so you can act in a way that tells the cosmos exactly which way to respond. Also, taking BOLD action shifts the probabilities in your favor of the outcome you want. It brings authentic emotion into our actions. Be clear and take action!

The Moment You Wait, Momentum Starts the Other Way
Don't wait any longer! The very moment you put off starting something is the moment the momentum starts building against you. STARTING is the hardest part. If you want to start a new habit and you feel that little pushback, think about how much stronger that push back will be once momentum has built up against it. You want to start tracking a new habit? You say to yourself, "I'll start this weekend when I'm fresh and can create a nice chart and have more free time." Seems innocent enough. Just a great excuse not to start. Now the weekend comes, momentum has built up and you have stronger excuses. All of sudden you're busy, have other plans, days, months and weeks pass and you haven't even started. JUST GET STARTED! Do the smallest step possible and that will at least get the momentum moving in the right direction

What if you dream big? Can't Hurt!
Thinking limitless.. can't hurt! What if you just somehow achieved an insane goal. A goal that would just be unbelievable, hard to imagine. Don't worry about how or when just think about yourself actually achieving it, how amazing that would, how great life would be, how grateful you'd be to have made it to that point! That gratitude can change your outlook and current state of being so you're more open to as you go about your day. On a more spiritual side you may tune into that higher frequency of the universe, now your brain is on that higher wavelength and you're attracting those higher level experiences, pulling them into your path. Either way CAN'T HURT!

How I Plan: Flexible Accountability
I've recently learned a great Monday Morning weekly planning thats really helpful. Have your scheduled to-dos on each of the days that have specific day and time. Have daily tasks and miscellaneous tasks in columns that are prioritized with main goals and stretch goals in case you finish early. LEAVE ROOM to add new ideas and annotate This way you can adjust on the fly as the week progresses. Find an accountability partner, share in the energy of momentum together. Working towards goals with someone else or even on public display is a great way to keep the fire burning. Find what works for you, keep making progress, find yourself and enjoy!

Living in Flow - Ch.1 What is Flow? Finding Purpose
Reading a new book Living in Flow by Sky Nelson-Isaacs. In the first chapter he talks about what flow is and defines it. He explains how living authentic to yourself, makes the broadest impact on the world. The Cosmos are not friendly, hostile nor indifferent, the Cosmos is responsive to us. Purpose may have a different meaning for everyone and it may mean just finding purpose in everything you do, not finding one thing. He explains one way to live purposefully is to find an essence of yourself in everything you do. Living in flow is about living optimally, aligning your internal world with the external.

Start Small, Inspire Yourself
If you told me just one year ago I'd be doing all these habits and routines, I could never see it. I didn't just change into this person, but my perspective has changed. My motivation comes from my experiences of what these behaviors have done for my happiness. I had to find what was right for me and that came from trying a lot of different things, learning from other's experiences and just working at it. I'm still working at it! I'm really excited by the progress I've made and I'm even more excited for the future. I hope by sharing my experience, it will inspire you to start being your best self!

From Darren Hardy's 'The Compound Effect' Use the law of inertia to understand how momentum is hard to get started but easier to keep moving, Get in the 'zone' with new choices that lead to new behaviors and eventually habits. Over time these repeated habits turn into your routine. Use the power of routine to keep momentum moving without even having to think about it. Bookend your days by controlling your morning and nightly routines despite what happens throughout the day. Why do all this? Simply to increase the frequency and intensity of good experiences of your life!

Clear Core, Clear Goals, Clear Mind
Habits part 2 from Darren Hardy's "The Compound Effect". When you get clear on your 'why', motivation becomes easier. Clearly define your core values about who you are and what you stand for. Your brain will now see more clearly, law of attraction comes into focus. Define who you need to become and start removing bad habits while installing good ones. Don't waste energy judging yourself, take pride in improving. Add these habits within your life and lifestyle and BE PATIENT! Habits carve deep grooves in your brain, use this to your advantage!

The Mighty Oak Tree of Habits
Think of habits as growing trees. When they're just sprouting, they're easily removed, but when fully grown into a tree, they're almost impossible to uproot. This goes for good AND bad habits. The bad ones you're going to have a tough, difficult time to change but good news is the good ones will be beautiful. Think of every obstacle as an opportunity for growth. Don't wish it was easier, wish you were better, a more improved, skilled navigator of life. I'm just a nugget farmer reading Darren Hardy's book "The Compound Effect" which has been really inspirational. Highly recommend.

Maximize your day! Always something to improve on, make more efficient. New things to learn, new experiences. Be objective with yourself, dont judge your lazy self just get started NOW! Our time here is very limited so why not chase those big dreams? Whats a goal you have that fills you with amazement and gratitude? I say go for that! Quantum mechanics, Visualization, Journaling, Placebo Effect, Subconscious and how everything is energy and connected. Scientific research is providing concrete evidence to support theories about manifesting your reality. There are some concrete connections that to me, are undeniable. This is my opinion, of course but still, I find it extremely compelling and I think you will too.

Can you train Strength, Speed and Endurance all at once?I read 'The World's Fittest Book' by Ross Edgley and learned so much i wanted to share a little about what i've learned as well as get John's take on all of it.World's Fittest Book: https://amzn.to/2QisKpNTraining Principles:“Maximum Strength Training* Training in this ‘zone’ means we train heavy! Since, as we know, maximal strength is the amount of force generated through a specific movement, examples include the squat, bench and deadlift at 90–100% of your one-repetition maximum.Strength–Speed Training* Training in this zone requires an athlete to move less weight than when training for maximum strength, but move it at a faster velocity. Examples include Olympic lifts (snatch, clean and jerk and snatch press) at 80–100% of your 1RM.
Peak Power Training* Training in this zone means we train heavy and fast! Delivering peak power output, these exercises produce the greatest amount of force in the least amount of time, and examples include the pull variations of the clean and snatch, jump squats and medicine ball throws at 30–80% of your 1RM.Speed–Strength Training* Training in this zone means we train speed, but with weight!
