Cultivating high-quality teachers of color doesn’t begin and end with recruitment. From revisiting credentialing practices to creating spaces for BIPOC teachers to pursue National Board Certification, the effort to diversify the teaching profession is complex and ongoing. This week we explore such efforts with Dr. Christopher Davis, a Teacher Representative on the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing who also works in the National Board Resource Center at Stanford University as a support facilitator for teachers pursuing National Board certification. He brings a whole lotta dopeness to the conversation around diversifying the teaching profession!
