Upworthy Weekly! (Questions for God, Lyft Driver menu, Snoopworthy)
Ok so this week I am introducing you all to my newest show, one I know you've heard me talking quite a bit about, Upworthy Weekly. This is a pretty high stakes introduction, sort of like introducing your new beau to your old best friend. When I introduced Daniel (new beau, now husband) to Trevor (old best friend) way back when, it went swimmingly. In fact, Trevor officiated at our wedding. But what it it had been disastrous? I guess what I'm saying is if you all play your cards right, you could officiate at my wedding to Upworthy Weekly? Wait, that makes no sense. Also, it's common knowledge at magazines and newspapers that you aren't supposed to use the same word repeatedly which is why you'll hear film, flick, feature, movie, etc in one story. However this isn't a magazine, it's an episode summary, so I will use the word introduce so many times it loses meaning and you will thank me! Anyway, about this episode! This week’s show touches on everything from religion to psychology to criminology. Alison and Tod open with an appeal to have a legendary rapper co-host the show. They move on to discuss a clever Lyft driver’s ride menu, a guy who was raised to be the perfect husband, and questions we’d ask God. Plus, Tod’s caffeine addiction is leading him astray and Alison shares marriage advice.
