The Shaft is a 5 part audio documentary from Bartender Atlas. Josh Lindley seeks out the story of The Shaft, hometown cocktail of Victoria and Calgary (both?). In it he follows the story of the drink as well as the attitudes of the bartenders and the cities that call the drink their own. Can a city really own a drink?

She talks about what goes into creating a consistent result when working with coffee from fruit to brew. Then Colin MacDougall, Brand Education Specialist for Corby Spirit and Wine hangs out to talk about how best to appreciate Kahlua as a liqueur and cocktail ingredient.
