TV & Movie Reviews: Conan the Barbarian (1982)
Crossover episode with our sister podcast, The VHS Strikes Back, reviewing the 1982 movie Conan the Barbarian. Conan was a pulp character, created by Robert E. Howard and first published in Weird Tales back in 1932. But it was in 1970 where he first appeared in the comic medium with Marvel comics.
Special guest Brett Scott joins us from the Podshit Nerdcast, and despite being a huge Arnie fan, Chris is watching this for the first time.

In 2008, this Batman: Gotham Knight animated feature was billed as an anthology which would bridge the gap between Batman Begins and Dark Knight. Suicide Squad was a different type of superhero movie where criminals are forced to work under the government's control. The concept had a lot of promise and the movie had a bit more humour than recent DC efforts. But did this result in a better movie overall?

TV & Movie Reviews: Fantastic Four (1994)
Eleven years before the 2005 Fantastic Four movie, there was a low budget project to make a movie which was never released, and it appears was never meant to be released. The Neue Constantin production company had held the rights to make the Fantastic Four movie for a decade but hadn't found the budget to make one, and the rights were going to revert back to Marvel. Roger Corman, a Producer who specialises in making low-budget movies, was brought on board and set about making a movie and as far as the who team were concerned, this could be their big break and set about trying to make the best movie they could. And after nearly a quarter of a century later, the movie has finally been released and is available online.

Spawn was huge in the 1990's, created by Todd McFarlane and first making his comics debut in 1992 as part of the Image Comics revolution. The Spawn movie was released in 1997 and after it's original R-rating, was toned down to a PG-13.

Co-created by Mike Garley (Adventure Time, The Kill Screen, Samurai Slasher) and Michael Lee-Graham (Shortlist Magazine, Hero Complex Gallery, Dead Roots), Our Final Halloween is a thirty-four-page horror one-shot full of monsters, mystery, blood and surprises. Our Final Halloween tells the story of a diverse group of characters who need to band together to fight an ancient evil, in this John Carpenter/HP Lovecraft inspired 80s horror romp.
We find out the origins of the project, a background of how the guys met and if they would consider creating a David Brent panel so we can review the Office.

TV & Movie Reviews: Howard the Duck (1986)
We go back to the mid-eighties with a movie that Marvel and George Lucas would probably sooner we forgot! Howard the Duck has gone down in movie infamy and generally looked back up as a huge box office flop. But with it's cult following that's developed since, what would our hosts make of a character that first appeared in Adventure into Fear #19 back in 1973.
There are SPOILERS So if you havent seen the movie please go see if and then come back for the review.
