This morning at C2 Worship, Drew kicked things off with a warm welcome before leading us into the first song, "God is in the House." A second song, "A City on a Hill," followed. Drew then led us in prayer and transitioned into "A Mighty Fortress" before encouraging everyone to pass the peace. Drew also covered community life updates and the scripture. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland then delivered an engaging sermon. After the sermon, we listened to the anthem "Goodness of God," which was followed by prayers for the people. The service wrapped up with the uplifting song "Again I Say Rejoice" and Drew offered the benediction.

On October 15, 2023, Drew welcomed the congregation and then band led us in the first three songs: "Because Of Your Love," "New Every Morning," and "God is Good." Drew led the passing the peace and updating the congregation on the community on church life. The scripture reading from Ephesians 3:14-21 was read by Drew. Rev. David W. Johnson delivered his final sermon at Community Church. Following the sermon, the anthem "Good and Loved" was performed. Drew then led the prayers for the people. The service concluded with the song "All You Need Is Love," and Revs. David and Elizabeth Johnson joining us to gave the benediction. This is their last Sunday with Community Church and their presence will be missed by the community.

On October 8, 2023, C2 Worship was great! Drew welcomed everyone and the service kicked off with three songs: "Still Rolling Stones," "Dwell In Your House," and "Every Praise." Drew then led the Passing of the Peace and discussed Community Life. Tommy read passages from Deuteronomy 5:1-3 and 6:4-9. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered the sermon. Following the sermon was the live-streamed installation of the interim ministry team and the anthem "Give Me Faith". Drew offered Prayers for the People. The congregation sang "All the People Said Amen" to close the service, and Drew gave the benediction.

It was a rainy day on October 1st, 2023, when the C2 Worship took place. Drew welcomed everyone and led the first prayer. The service kicked off with "Prince of Peace," where Peter taught the congregation the chorus. Taylor followed up with "Trust in You," and Carla returned to perform "Hold On," a presence we were happy to have back. Drew then led the Passing of the Peace. The Scripture reading was from Exodus 1:15-22. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered the sermon. Communion was led by Rev. David W. Johnson, who also received thanks from Drew; it was his last time serving C2 communion before moving on. The Communion Song was "The Table" by Peter. The service wrapped up with a Prayer of Thanksgiving and "Again I Say Rejoice" for the final song. Rev. Dave gave the Benediction.

On September 24, 2023, Drew welcomed everyone to the worship service and led the opening prayer. The service featured a lineup of songs, beginning with "God is in the House" and followed by "Calling Out to You" and "10,000 Reasons." Drew also facilitated the Passing of the Peace and talked about Community Life, in addition to reading from Genesis 32:24-32. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered the sermon. "Look What You’ve Done" was performed as the post-sermon anthem. Drew then led Prayers for the People and the band wrapped up the service with the song "King of Glory" and a benediction.

The welcome was given by Drew followed by the first song, "I am Free," followed by a prayer. The congregation then heard to "Called Me Higher" before moving on to the third song, "Because of Your Love." Drew facilitated the Passing of the Peace and updated everyone on community life. He then read passages from Genesis 18:9-15 and Genesis 21:1-7. The congregation listened to Rev. Elizabeth B. Johnson's final sermon at Community Church, which was followed by the amazing post-sermon anthem, "Oceans." Drew led the congregation in the prayers for the people. The service neared its conclusion with "God is in the House" singing everyone out, and finally, the benediction was given by Drew. A great day in C2!

On September 10, 2023, Drew welcomed everyone to C2 before the band led everyone in the opening song "I am Free" and a prayer. The congregation then sang "God is Good" and "Made New". This was followed by the passing of the peace and an update on community life, both led by Drew. Stephanie Squires, the preschool director, presented a report to the congregation, after which Tommy read from Genesis 2:18-25. Rev. David Johnson then delivered the sermon, followed by the anthem "It is Well." Drew led further prayers, including the Lord's Prayer, before the gathering joyfully sang "Lovely Day." The meeting concluded with Drew giving the benediction.

We experienced technical difficulties during the first song and a half of the service. Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve the issues. The second song was "Better Is One Day," and then the third song, "Rescue," sung by Taylor. Drew lef the congregation in the Passing of the Peace. The scripture for the day, 1 Peter 4:8-11, was also read by Drew. The sermon was delivered by Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland via livestream. Communion was led by Rev. Elizabeth Johnson, during which the song "The Table" was led by Peter. Rev. Elizabeth also led the Communion Prayer and the Lord's Prayer. The service concluded with the song "God is in the House," sung by Taylor, and a benediction by Rev. Elizabeth.

Drew welcomed everyone to the service. The first song, "Joy of the Lord," was performed, followed by a prayer led by Drew. Tony killed it with "What a Wonderful World" as the second song, and Taylor led the congregation in "Trading My Sorrows" for the third song. Drew facilitated the Passing of the Peace and Community Life. Todd read the scripture from Isaiah 55:8-13. The sermon was delivered by Rev. David Johnson. After the sermon, Kelsey performed the anthem "Holy Spirit." Drew led the Prayers for the People. The congregation was sung out with "Better Than Life," and Drew closed the service with the benediction. All in all a great Sunday worship!

We had a little technical difficulties at the beginning of the recording but everything was fine after that. Mostly it was Drew's welcome that was missed. 

On August 13, 2023, C2 Worship began with a welcome from Drew, followed by the song "I'm So Blessed" and a prayer. This led into two more songs: "Forgiveness" and "Blessed Be The Rock." Then came a special moment, the Blessing of the Backpacks, conducted by Lia Peters. Students brought their backpacks to the church to be blessed as they embarked on a new school year. Drew then continued with the "Pass the Peace" and spoke on Community Life. The scripture readings for the day were from Luke 22:56-62 and John 21:15-19, paving the way for the sermon by Rev. Elizabeth B. Johnson. Following the sermon, there was a post-sermon anthem, "Never Lost," and Drew led the prayers for the people. The gathering then sang "Every Praise" and concluded with the benediction.

The beginning of the first song sounds a bit off, but by 2 minutes into the recording, all is well. 

On July 23, 2023, C2 worship started with Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland welcoming everyone. The first song performed was "Heaven Is Now", followed by a prayer led by Dr. Anna. This was succeeded by the second song, "A City on A Hill", and then Dr. Anna took the stage again for the Passing the Peace. Next was the third song, "People Get Ready". Followed by Community Life with some interesting news from the UCC. At this point, Dr. Anna departed for the sanctuary. The scripture was then read by deacon Lori Ferrel. The sermon was given from the Sanctuary by Dr. Anna. After the sermon, an anthem titled "Thank God I Do" was performed by Taylor. Lori then led the Prayers for the people. Worship approached its conclusion with the song "Counting Stars" before Lori gave the benediction and wished everyone a blessed week.

Drew then led the congregation in prayer before handing the stage to Peter who regaled the audience with his rendition of 'Three Little Birds.' The musical baton was then passed to Taylor, who performed 'Peace Be Still. Rev. Elizabeth B. Johnson then welcomed new members to the Community Church. Drew prayed and led the Passing of the Peace, and went over the community life read the day's chosen scripture. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland next presented a thoughtful sermon on the theme of worry. Post sermon, Kelsey sang the anthem, 'His Eye Is On The Sparrow. Drew came back to lead the Prayers for the People and the congregation was then sung out with the harmonious melody of 'Blessed Be The Rock.' Drew closed the event with a benediction. To round off the gathering on a high note, the audience was treated to the cheerful walk-out music of a reggae styled, 'Don't Worry, Be Happy.' All in all, a simply wonderful worship service!

Drew welcomed everyone to C2. The first song was "Soul on Fire." After that, Drew led a prayer and led into next song, "I'm So Blessed," was played. During a short break when Todd changed his guitar, Drew told a little story before the third song,"God is Good," was sung. Drew then led the Passing of the Peace did community words before the scripture reading from Ephesians 4:1-7, 11-13. Rev. David Johnson shared a sermon on the trinity after that. Following the sermon was the song "When I Think About The Lord" which led us into the prayers for the people and the Lord's Prayer. The last song was "Again I Say Rejoice." The service ended with a benediction from Drew.

Drew began the gathering by warmly welcoming everyone, leading into the first song, "Everyday." After facilitating the 'Passing of the Peace,' Drew moved into the Community Life segment, subsequently reading the scripture, 1 Corinthians 13:1-7. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered a moving sermon, succeeded by the anthem "Run to The Father (6/8)." Drew shared a special prayer he uses with the youth before mission trips, and then the congregation sang "We Praise You." Drew ended the gathering with a heartfelt benediction and happy father's day wishes.

David Johnson welcomed everyone to C2, his warm greeting setting the tone for what was to come. The congregation then joined in singing the first song, "If we are the Body." After the heartfelt rendition, David led the congregation in prayer. The second song, "Live Like Your Loved," was performed next, its uplifting message resonating with everyone. "10,000 Reasons," the third song, filled the room with its melodic praise. Next up was the Passing of the Peace and words on our Community Life. Following this, Tommy took the stage to read the Scripture, specifically Romans 12:1-2; 9-18. The words of the Scripture were thoughtfully reflected upon during the sermon delivered by Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland. After the sermon, was the Post Sermon Anthem, "Thank God I Do." Rev. Dave returned to lead the congregation in 'Prayers for the people,' before we closed out with the song "Every Praise" and the benediction. We'll see you next week!

On May 7th, 2023, the congregation gathered for C2 worship. Drew warmly welcomed everyone before the band led the congregation in singing three songs: "Because of Your Love," "It is Well," and "Speak The Name." Afterward, Drew announced the passing of the peace among the attendees. He then proceeded to share announcements and updates about community life. Drew continued by reading the Scripture for the day. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered a thought-provoking sermon, followed by communion and prayer led by Rev. Elizabeth B. Johnson. The congregation then sang "The Table" before Rev. Elizabeth B. Johnson delivered the benediction. Finally, the congregation joyfully sang "King of Glory" as they were sent out to continue their journeys in faith.

On April 30th, 2023, worship began with the uplifting rendition of "10,000 Reasons" as our first song. Drew welcomed everyone and led the opening prayer, followed by the second song, "Trust in You," performed by Taylor, and the third song, "Fingerprints of God," sung by Todd. Drew then took the stage for the Community Life segment, after which Rev. Elizabeth introduced our new members with the help of our Chruch Moderator. Drew continued with the Passing of the Peace, and Betsy read Acts 10:1-17 as the day's scripture. Rev. David Johnson delivered an inspiring sermon, after which a guest singer (from the sound booth!) Megan Cass sang the post-sermon anthem, "Oceans." After the Prayers for the People, the congregation joined in singing the final song, "Stand By Me," led by Tony, as we all departed.

On April 23rd, 2023, worship began with the song "10,000 Reasons," followed by a welcome and prayer led by Drew. Attendees then enjoyed two more songs, "Sweeter" and "I'm So Blessed," before participating in the Passing of the Peace. After community life and announcements, a scripture reading from Matthew 28:16-20 took place. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered a sermon, succeeded by the post-sermon anthem "In Jesus Name." The gathering continued with prayers for the people and the Lord's Prayer before concluding with the song "All the People Said Amen" and a benediction.

On April 16th, 2023, the service began with a scripture reading, followed by the first song, "Made New" performed by Todd. The congregation then engaged in congregational life activities before continuing with two more songs, "Trading My Sorrows" by the band and "God Is Good" by Kelsey. Drew led the Passing of the Peace, after which a scripture from Hebrews 12 was read. Guest preacher Rev. Dale Rosenberger delivered the sermon, and Kelsey performed the post-sermon anthem, "Dry Bones (Come Alive)." Rev. David W. Johnson led the Prayers for the People, and the whole band sang "King Of Glory" to close the service. Finally, Rev. David W. Johnson offered the benediction.

On April 9, 2023, the congregation gathered for a special C2 Order of Worship. The service commenced with a scripture reading from the floor, delivered by Drew. The congregation then joined together in song, singing "Still Rolling Stones" led by Taylor, followed by "Lovely Day" led by Tony, and finally, "My Redeemer Lives." After the initial set of songs, Drew facilitated the Passing of the Peace. The scripture reading for the day was from Matthew 28:1-10. Rev. Dr. Anna V Copeland then presented an inspiring sermon that resonated with those present. Following the sermon, Todd shared a special musical performance, singing "Who Is This Man." Kelsey led the Anthem, singing "Never Lost." Drew offered sincere Prayers for the People. As the service neared its conclusion, the congregation joined together in singing "Again I Say Rejoice." Finally, Drew provided a benediction, sending the congregation out into the world with renewed faith and hope.

On April 2, 2023, the worship service began with a warm welcome, followed by the singing of "Everyday" and a prayer. The congregation then sang "Reckless Love" and "Thank God I Do" before participating in the Passing of the Peace. After community life updates and announcements, the scripture reading from Matthew 21:1-11 was shared. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered the sermon, and Communion was led by Rev. Elizabeth B. Johnson. The congregation sang "The Table" during Communion and offered a prayer of thanksgiving. The service concluded with the congregation singing "All You Need is Love" and receiving the benediction from Rev. Elizabeth B. Johnson.

The order of worship for C2 Worship on March 26, 2023 began with Drew welcoming the congregation. This was followed by the first song, "Everlasting God." A prayer was then offered before the second and third songs, "Freedom" and "More of Your Glory," were sung. The congregation then passed the peace and participated in community life. Scripture reading from Matthew 25:31-41 was read before a special anthem by Todd was played before the sermon. The sermon was given by Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland. The service concluded with the song "Every Day" being sung, and a benediction was given to the congregation.

We experienced some technical difficulties during today's service, which unfortunately impacted our ability to record and share the entire event. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, we are pleased to inform you that we were able to resolve the issue, and as a result, we can now share the second half of our worship service with you. Worship started with Drew welcoming everyone and inviting them to join us. Then, Heather Stapleton gave a stewardship moment. The first song was "Again I Say Rejoice," followed by another song, "God is Good," with lyrics expressing how God was with us in the good and the bad times. The third song was "I'm So Blessed," which talked about being grateful for God's blessings in life. The scripture reading was about Jesus calling his disciples to deny themselves and follow him, and the transfiguration where Jesus was revealed as God's son. Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland delivered the sermon entitled Spiritual Cataracts. The post-sermon anthem was "Rescue." Next up, Rev. Elizabeth Johnson led the prayers for the people, mentioning the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the war in Ukraine, those struggling with illness and grief, and more. The service ended with the song "God is in the House."

This past week's worship was fantastic! The service began with a warm welcome from Drew and the first song, "I’m so blessed," was a new and wonderful addition. The second song was "Number 40" and the third was "Forever." The scripture was read and the sermon was delivered by David Johnson. The post-sermon anthem, "When I think about the Lord," was beautifully sung by Kelsey. Drew led the prayers for the people and the service ended with the song "Every Praise."
