Learning • Demonstrate interest in and awareness of their school-based curriculum • Shared reading of year level literature for discussion at home • Home-based discussions about life, current affairs & curriculum-based topics • Encourage your child’s area of passion • Time with friends, family & community is planned and prioritised • Meal times are family gathering times. Screens off and conversation turned on • Limited online social activity appropriate for age. If screen time gets in the way of sleep, homework, socialising, play or other healthy pursuits – it’s too much. • Encourage ‘play dates’, shared experiences, team sports

BreastScreen Victoria's Mobile Screening Service will be in COBDEN from 22nd February to 6th March, located at the Rodney Grove Community Aquatic Centre, Victoria Street. Equipment used is the same as in a breastscreen clinic (eg Warrnambool). This is a FREE service for women 50 and over and no doctor's referral is required. BreastScreen saves lives.
