I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring The Star card, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The upright Star is a card of hope, renewal, and faith in the future. It reminds us that healing and inspiration are always within reach, even after challenges. When reversed, The Star's energy can feel blocked or diminished. It may reflect a loss of faith, discouragement, or a sense of being out of touch with one's inner light. The reversed Star often appears during moments of self-doubt or when external circumstances seem overwhelming. It's a gentle nudge to reconnect with your sense of purpose and to trust that brighter days are ahead, even if they're not immediately visible. So, what happens when The Star reversed appears in a reading? When The Star Reversed appears in a reading, it's a sign to examine where you may feel disconnected or discouraged. Suppose you are losing sight of your goals or struggling to see a way forward. In that case, this card reminds you that there is always an opportunity to find renewal and inspiration, even in challenging times. It may suggest a need to nurture yourself. The reversed Star encourages you to focus on self-care, allowing time to rest and recharge to reconnect with your inner light. So, what is the best way to memorize The Star card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Star card was when I moved from my parent's home in Ontario to Western Canada when I was 19. The first year I was there, I had a lot of trouble making friends. I was a nanny and didn't have a car, so I spent a lot of time in the home taking care of three children. Outings with the kids were limited to parks in the area that we could walk to. I was lonely and isolated, and I felt like it was Groundhog Day every day. Even though I wasn't into tarot cards back then, I needed to recognize the energy of the Star Reversed and get back to why I moved across the country. I found myself back in the Star Upright by taking control of the situation. I started volunteering after hours to try to meet people. I also contacted the nanny agency that placed me and asked if any other nannies were interested in play dates with their kids. These actions started turning that Star card upright. That's all for today's Star Card Reversed episode. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot.
