The following podcast is a Dear Media production.
Hi, guys.Welcome back to another episode of Let's Get Dressed. It's your host, Liv Grez.I am recently back from Paris.I got back last week.It was such an incredible week.
Went to do a few shows, Dior and Hermes, and do a couple other events surrounding the week. But also, my dad actually moved to Paris right before I got married in May.So it was such a fun trip.It was so great to be able to be there.
And if I, like, wasn't working, have lunch with my dad and hang out and have some family there.
I definitely on one of the days we were having lunch sat down and was like, oh man, like take in this moment and be so present because what a cool experience that you get to have to be able to blend work and my personal life too.
So it was such a great trip. The only negative thing was that it rained literally the entire time I was there.I got there Monday afternoon and it rained the whole week until I left on Saturday.I woke up Saturday morning and the sun was shining.
It was gorgeous.Just in time for the Hermes show. And I actually left straight from the Hermes show to go back to L.A.for a friend's birthday. So I only got about six hours of sunshine, but still an incredible week.
It's always such an honor to be there. It is the biggest week on the fashion calendar every year. You'll notice that Paris Fashion Week is longer than any other week. It's longer than New York, London and Milan.
It's a full eight days of shows going from Tuesday to Tuesday and it's where the biggest brands in the world show.
From Valentino to Hermes to Chanel and Dior and so many other established and up-and-coming brands choose Paris as their stage because of how influential it is in fashion. In my opinion, it's where trends and really big ideas take that main stage.
It's usually where I feel like I see brands taking the biggest risks and also where you'll see so many of the trends that we now shop in Zara originate.
So all those boho dresses that you're seeing at H&M and Zara right now, that was Khloe last season.I also think Milan holds great importance.
Obviously, you've got Gucci there, you've got Ferragamo, you've got Bottega, and all that burgundy goodness that we're seeing right now for fall is coming from Gucci's Ancora show that was about a year ago.
So these two moments hold such great influence and importance in the fashion industry.I come back with the most style inspiration.
Whether it's from being able to see shows IRL, or seeing them digitally, or even just seeing the way that people in Paris, who are so proximate to the epicenter of fashion, dress, I come back with so many new ideas on how I can shake up my wardrobe and do something different.
And speaking of shaking things up, I feel like if there was anything I was to take away from this fashion week, being there IRL, and then also culling through all of the incredible collections,
The designer shakeup that the fashion industry is in is definitely being felt.I felt like so many collections had incredible ideas, but a lot of the brands are trying to find their footing and vision of what fits for that brand. Most notably,
Alessandro Michele, who was formerly at Gucci and most notably responsible for rebranding Gucci to where it is today, debuted his first collection as the creative director of Valentino.
Sean McGeer, who is the current creative director of Alexander McQueen, showed his second collection after Sarah Burton departed last year.
And even at the Chanel show, the collection was not designed by Virginie Viard, who was the former creative director and exited Chanel in June of this year, leaving the biggest job in fashion open and the biggest question mark that I think every fashion person is talking about right now.
The collection was designed by the in-house team. So there is a lot going on.And on top of that, post-Olympics, a lot of the shows did not show up in their usual locations.Saint Laurent was not at the Eiffel Tower.Dior was not at the Tuileries.
And while most can say, OK, like fashion needs to get its shit together, I actually think that this shakeup gives a lot of opportunity for big and fun ideas.
Yes, of course, designers want to sell and they want to create collections that are commercial and marketable and things that we love.
I walked away from this season with a ton of inspiration because of the fact that there's a little bit of wiggle room at the moment, and designers, again, are trying to find their footing.
With these episodes, in case you didn't catch the one from last season, I'm going to be walking you guys through a few different styling elements that I saw while I was out in Paris.
I'm going to go through a few of them, and some of them I'll be giving you guys ideas of what to buy out there if you want to add some things to your wardrobe.
But some of these also I'm excited to share because they're things that we already have in our closet that we can just mix it up and try something new with our everyday style.
Per usual with all of my solo episodes, there's going to be an accompanying shopping edit. You can go to my Shopmy. It's shopmy.us backslash Liv Perez.S-H-O-P-M-Y dot U-S backslash L-I-V-V-P-E-R-E-Z.
There will be a Paris styling edit and it will have all my recommendations if you want to utilize these styling moments. They will all be in there. and it will be linked in the description of this episode in case you can't find it.
And also if you're listening to this after 8 a.m pacific time on monday you can go on my instagram right now there is a carousel of visual accompaniments to this if you're a little bit lost and want to see exactly what i'm talking about.
So let's get into it.The first one we've got to talk about feathers because they were quite literally everywhere during Paris fashion week. They were on the runway at Chanel
Loewe, Alexander McQueen, Jean-Baptiste Duvalli, Christopher Asbur, Valentino, and I'm probably missing a few.
Whenever this happens, like whenever there's like a motif or a fabric or a style that comes back into the fold out of nowhere, like I didn't see a single feather on last season's runways.
I always think about, are all the designers talking to each other in the background? Are they all going to the same fabric store? Are they all meeting up in the same coffee shops and being like, let's bring feathers back?
Because it is too much of a coincidence that there was this motif on so many of fashion's hottest runways.
That's probably not happening and who knows what's going on in the background but I always get very excited when I see that one kind of random thing that comes back into the fold.
Kind of like when ballet flats started to come back and all of a sudden they were just everywhere.I am not going to be the person that sits here and tells you guys to go buy like a sweater with feather trim or a feather top or a feather skirt.
First of all, a lot of those pieces can be quite pricey if you're getting kind of the real deal. And also, it doesn't really feel like something that I would say is eternal in our closets.
What I really enjoyed about seeing feathers on the runways this season was it really felt like an ode to getting dressed up.
It felt like an ode to seeing interesting fashion that's thought-provoking and creative and might not be the thing that we need to add to our closets off the bat.
What I will say about it is that the way that it was incorporated into some looks got my wheels spinning.
At the Chanel show there was a classic tweed black skirt suit with white stripes and there were white feathers on the collar and white feathers on the cuff.
Something else that I saw a lot of during this fashion week was this kind of accentuated white collar.
And whether it was feathers at Chanel or this beautiful kind of ruffled silk organza underneath a navy suit jacket at McQueen, I really feel like this contrast collar moment is something that we can pull away from feathers that feels attainable and accessible and wearable.
I saw a lot of contrast collars. And in case you're not familiar with that term, it's basically when you have a contrast lapel or collar on a blazer. So think black blazer with a bright white collar or lapel.I saw it at Louis Vuitton.
I saw it at Schiaparelli.I saw it at McQueen, as I mentioned before.I saw it at Valentino.I saw it at Alessandra Rich. There was a very big emphasis this season on the contrast collar. And I absolutely love that aesthetic.
I have a blazer that I've worn on Instagram and I've shared it before and it's a vintage Mugler blazer that is gray with a white contrast collar.I absolutely love this. It's a classic in my wardrobe.I wear it all the time with
black pants, gray pants, jeans, and it's just a very elevated, sophisticated look.I also think that there is something very youthful and playful to that white pop of a collar.
It's very Miu Miu inspired, it's very Prada inspired, and so all to say that my first styling recommendation from Paris is a contrast collar. If you want to do feathers, you absolutely can.
I'm not recommending it, but if you would like to do it, by all means. So a few contrast color ideas. One, if you're willing to splurge, I recommend going on Essence, looking up Shu Shu Tang.
They have a black retro lapel coat that is around $900, and it's painfully chic. Very Prada, Miu Miu inspired and that's a perfect way to do this.My more affordable recommendation and a brand that I think is known for that contrast collar is Sandro.
I love Sandro, especially by the way if you guys go to Europe, shop at Sandro. It's so good in Europe and I always end up getting so many things there because they just have great classics for the wardrobe.
They have a knit cardigan that's $370 with a detachable collar. So if you want to just wear this really cute burgundy cardigan, you can.But there's this also very cute rouged white collar that is very reminiscent of everything I saw on the runways.
And you can take it on and off for the moments where you want to feel a little bit more on trend and for the moments where you don't.Again, that's $370 and on the Sandra website.
And best part of all, I actually think that this is something you can so easily nail at home. All you need is a white button down and any color blazer you want.
I would just pop the collar of the white button down outside of your blazer on top of the lapel. And before you know it, you've got a contrast collar.
Take it a step further, throw on some pearls, and you're really giving me a mew, because they've done that for the last two seasons now.Love.
OK, the next thing I saw, a long necklace that sits like right between your bust, kind of almost like right above your belly button.
And I feel like this is making a comeback, because if you've listened to the show, I've talked a lot about Elsa Peretti at Tiffany & Co making a major comeback with the bean necklace that she has.
This is a really vintage style that they're putting a lot of marketing into bringing back. And the Elsa Parody Collection was very well known for this giant silver bean necklace that was really long and also sat in the center of the chest.
And this season, I saw a very similar aesthetic to that at Chanel, ChloƩ, and Saint Laurent.
At Saint Laurent, one of my favorite looks was this beautiful black flowy dress with a deep plunging v-neckline with a leather jacket paired over it, aviator sunglasses, and these two layered long necklaces, one that hit right between the bust and one that hit at the belly button.
I felt the necklaces really defined it, and I think this is going to be the accessory styling moment of the season. I think you can play with it too.I think you can go for really chunky jewelry like the Saint Laurent moment.
But I also think you can do it the way that Khloe did it, which was very, very delicate with more dainty style jewelry layered on top of each other of their quintessential boho chic look.
I preferred it the way that Chloe styled it, which was, again, another black dress moment with one long gold necklace that had a few chains at the bottom and sat a little bit below the bust and, again, above the belly button.
I liked that single moment.I don't really like a lot of layers or chunky jewelry.I thought this was just perfectly refined. You could do this at home so easily.I really like a necklace when there's something framing it.
So for example, I would wear it with a white tee and a blazer over it and really giving that necklace the room to shine.Or I would do a button down cardigan and again, let the long necklace kind of sit between the buttons there.
I don't really love it with just like a sweater or a t-shirt where there's nothing kind of framing the area and adding to that moment.
Chloe did it with a very sheer top with lace trimming, and I think that worked because the lace trimming kind of complemented the length of the necklace.
But again, make sure you're giving it kind of that placement, like make sure you're giving it the frame to sit in.As I mentioned earlier in this episode, it felt like a lot of designers were trying to find their footing.
And when designers are doing that, they often reference vintage styles because they know that's the thing that works. It's almost like the back-to-basics mentality.Like, what's the thing that we know that works? What's the thing that we know sells?
And what's that thing that almost feels nostalgic? And the thing this season was polka dots. It was on the runways at Valentino, Christopher Esber, Nina Ricci, and even Connor Ives.
And again, that makes a lot of sense for Nina Ricci and Valentino, two brands that have new designers at the helm.
Harris Reid is the creative director of Nina Ricci as of last year, and Alessandro Michele at Valentino as of this year, two designers that are both kind of trying to find their footing and solidify their moment at the house.
Personally, I love polka dots.It feels really feminine and beautiful.
I think someone who does polka dots really well, Nara Smith, I feel like I've seen her in a plethora of like beautiful polka dot dresses that feel really vintage inspired, which is super true to her.
I would say, honestly, if you're gonna do polka dots, do it in a dress.I can also see it in like a beautiful button down with jeans, but I wouldn't recommend it in any other element in your closet.
If you're going for a polka dot dress, the one that Nara Smith, you often see her in with like a beautiful collar is from Alessandra Rich.Definitely an investment dress.
It's over $2,000, but if you're looking for that piece that you're going to have forever, I highly recommend that one.I feel like Nara has made that dress like a staple on her social media.
And then also a more affordable version, LPA has a beautiful one on Revolve.
If you guys follow Serena Kerrigan, she just posted it and she wore it over a weekend where she had two back-to-back weddings, one in LA on Saturday night, one in New York on Sunday night, and she wore it to both weddings, wore it on the plane, freshened up when she got to New York and did a double-double wedding weekend.
And that dress looked so perfect in both contexts. It's just like a perfect go-to dress you'll have in your closet forever.
They currently only have it available on Revolve in the mini in black, but there's a really cute brown one available in a bit more of a midi length on Revolve.I actually think the mini is so cute, especially as we're going into fall.
If you're looking for a good going out outfit, which is the bane of my existence, I hate going out outfits. My best friend had her 30th birthday last weekend.
It was so much fun, but all of my girlfriends were texting each other right before being like, What do we wear? What do we wear to this kind of thing?I wore a black tee and jeans and sneakers because I wanted to have fun.
But if you are going out with your girlfriends, I'm sure you guys all have similar conversations of what the hell do I wear? And I think this LPA polka dotted mini with like a big leather jacket and pumps is a very cute, comfortable A plus outfit.

Cotton's The Fabric of Now campaign is challenging everyone to make the natural choice, to give yourself enough room to breathe so that you can be more intentional in your everyday life and in what you wear.
To me, cotton as a fabric, it just feels like a giant bug. It's the thing that I go towards every single morning when I'm getting ready to tackle my day because it's the thing that makes me feel most like myself. It feels like a second skin.
Plus, it goes really well with everything in my closet and just makes dressing a breeze. It's breathable and soft and comfortable.
And honestly, it feels like doing that thing that you need to do for yourself to get grounded after maybe, say, a really hectic month. For me, that's going out in nature. And whatever it is for you, it's that feeling of getting back to yourself.
I love to go out in nature, put my phone away, leave my laptop at home. be with my loved ones and totally unwind.I feel completely recharged after I do those weekends. And it feels so natural for me.
It feels so good to leave those things behind and just get to the center of myself.Maybe read a good book, play a couple of board games. That's really when I feel like my most self. And it's the same way that I feel when I'm wearing cotton.
So cotton is asking all of us to recharge in your own way.Maybe that means putting your phone down for a few hours a day, or just going out with your friends for the night and being really present.Whatever it is, you do you.
Find that thing that feels natural and makes you feel good.Cotton is the natural choice.Discover the fabric of now at thefabricofourlives.com.OK, moving on to the color of the season, which very surprised to see it still have its moment in the sun.
It's been going way longer than I thought. And that's butter yellow. I feel like butter yellow became really popular and like spring summer. It became the neutral that like everybody was comfortable with.
Everyone was like, okay, like I'm done with the red and the Valentino pink. What's like a color that feels safe that also kind of blends in with neutrals and butter yellow. really became that color a few months ago.
So I was so surprised to see it on the runways at so many big shows. And as Focal Point looks, not just a cute little yellow sweater, but full dresses.I saw it at Valentino in a two-piece skirt suit.
Balenciaga, which is notoriously known for black and blue and bright colors, had a beautiful butter yellow dress.Chanel, of course, loves to use butter yellow. McQueen, Khloe, Loewe, everybody had butter yellow on the runway.
And I've seen a lot of reports still that red is the color of the season. But personally, I feel like red's never going to go out of style.Red is that color that people will turn to forever to feel confident and stand out.
It's never going to be a trending color like a yellow or a pink or an emerald green.Red, to me, is always going to be in the fold. It's never going to go away.
So I'm trying to stay away from telling you guys that red is the trending color because I just think it's always going to be here.I also will say, of course, burgundy is the color right now in this moment for fall.I'm seeing it everywhere.
Burgundy nails, burgundy bags, burgundy shoes. We talked about this on the 10 things you need for fall episode. But for next season, spring, summer 2025, I think butter yellow is still going to be a thing.
I would say if you're looking to incorporate it into your wardrobe, two cute little ways.Same thing as the polka dots.
I have a little J.Crew cropped sweater that is a butter yellow that is absolutely perfect and I actually replace as a neutral all the time. It is the cashmere shrunken crew neck sweater in sunflower sands.
And I've worn it with denim on denim, like a Canadian tuxedo.I've worn it with jeans.I've worn it with black pants.I love just that little touch of warmth. And it's a very easy way for someone to be like, oh, you're so stylish.
Like, that's such a cool choice, that little yellow sweater. So I love that. It's $118.It's such a good buy.I wear it all the time.
If you are going to, like, fall weddings or, like, anywhere that's warm, usually I wouldn't recommend a yellow dress, but I will say that I feel like it's kind of everywhere right now.
Le Academie, which is designed by Mariana Hewitt on Revolve, has a beautiful yellow dress right now that actually has, like, an off-the-shoulder long sleeve, so I think it could work for a fall wedding, and you would definitely be on trend.
It's the Cassia gown, and it's $278 in case you guys are looking for it. Zendaya Adans wore a beautiful like butter yellow the way they dressed to my wedding and it was one of my favorite dresses worn. It's just such a happy color.
Moving right along there was another styling moment that came up this season that I saw last season in kind of a different form and that is double layered skirts.I have to say
The midsection, like the belly button area, is very hot real estate, I feel like, in fashion right now.I remember last season at Stella McCartney, she had black tights layered underneath her suit pants.
And the top waistline of the tights were showing above the belly button, and then the pants dropped right below it.And that double layering moment, I loved and have seen in so many places.
Same thing this season, I've seen a lot of double layered skirts, especially with a sheer skirt and something a little bit less sheer underneath.Hermes did it, Saint Laurent did it, and at Reventu. So many layers!
And I've really enjoyed seeing this because I feel like this year we've had a big moment of sheer skirts, right? you know, a big sweater with a sheer skirt underneath or a sheer skirt with a blazer that kind of covers all the areas it needs to cover.
But I've been waiting for kind of that styling moment that feels a little bit more permanent, where we can continue to kind of have these like sheer organza elements without having to kind of over style it.
And I really loved seeing, especially at Hermes, there was a, you know, mini skirt underneath, a sheer long skirt over it.
And I loved aesthetically how that looked, especially when at your midsection, the two skirts weren't on top of each other and you could kind of see the hemline of both.
Hermes had, of course, an Hermes belt there, which, you know, was the cherry on top.But I think you could even do it without. If double layering a skirt or wearing tights under a pair of suit pants isn't your thing, totally fine.
Feels like a lot of layers.I also will say it feels quite editorial, meaning it's not practical for everyday life. You might be fidgeting with it, making sure it's perfectly layered, and I totally get that.
But I wouldn't be surprised if we see more things come out in the next couple months that have that like sneaky double layer to it that have as a styling moment.Very easy solve to this.
Again, if you're not someone who wants to deal with all those layers. The other double layer thing that I saw in our midsection was doubling belts. Miu Miu had two silver belts layered on top of each other.
And I think a very easy way to do this at home is taking two of your belts, looping them into each other, and just having that double belt moment right at the waist.
You can either layer them on top of each other or make one a little bit looser than the other and have the looser one dangle right below it.On the Mango website right now, there is a $26 belt.
It's the buckle skinny belt, and it's actually styled double as well.So if you guys need a visual reference point, you can go check that out on Mango right now. it seems like they're just crisscrossed over each other.
But if you also just want to not deal, there is a double buckle belt on Ralph Lauren that's $115.It comes in black, it comes in brown, and it's just a double double on top of each other.
I think this would look great over a dress or maybe a big sweater, or if you want to just keep it super casual over a pair of jeans.
I actually liked the way Miu Miu had it the best, which was over a really long coat and they had two really different belts, which I thought was really cool.Actually, the look that Hilary Swank wore, she was wearing a patent leather brown coat.
She had a brown belt around the waistline and then a silver kind of like chunky floral hoop belt draped right below it.That I think is really cool. And I think the easiest way for us to do something fun with double belts this winter.
Throw it over your coat, call it a day.Just know that you're probably not going to be taking off that coat because the double belt will be probably really annoying.Next up, let's talk about the return of the hot pant.
How do you guys feel about hot pants?I have never worn a hot pant in my life, personally.I just feel naked.I do.And also, I'm not a tights person.I grew up dancing.I was in tights every single day for 18 years.
And I can't even look at a pair of tights now. It takes a lot for you to put me in a tight.Like I have to close my eyes.I have to take a deep breath. It gives me the heebie-jeebies.I'm just, it doesn't sit on my skin well anymore.
So already I feel like hot pants are not my thing. If you guys don't know what a hot pant is, it's like a very short, short, a short, super short, like 80s inspired short, short. but I did see them a ton this fashion month.
They were on the runway at Chanel and Daisy Edgar-Jones wore them at the Gucci show as well.I think what's really interesting about the hot pant this season is that hot pants are usually in a very sexy context.
It's usually with like a crop top or a bralette, which is what Daisy Edgar-Jones wore to the show, but nothing this season to me has felt overtly sexy.
For example, last season, Saint Laurent basically said free the nipple and had everybody in sheer clothing. This season was incredibly covered up.All suits, multiple layers, long flowy dresses with leather jackets.
There was nothing even reminiscent of oozing sex in any way in this collection. There were slight hints of it here and there, but nothing really like I've seen in the past where I've just been like, wow, that's really hot.
And it made me think about this moment where obviously you've got designers at new houses who are really looking to prove themselves and make their name in the house and sell product.Does sex still sell?
I think it does, but maybe it's not the risk that brands are trying to take right now.And actually, maybe the coolest thing about this moment is maybe we're redefining what sexy feels like.Maybe sexy right now feels like
full-suiting, hair-in-your-bun, big-glosses moment.I think that's really exciting, and I think that's really exciting to see in fashion.
A lot of the hot pants that we saw at Chanel were knit and paired with other knits, so it feels quite toned down and, again, not overtly sexy. But I think that could be a really fun opportunity for us to style it maybe a little bit differently.
I do feel like the hot pant has had like different iterations.I remember two years ago, the Prada mini skort moment that everybody was dying over.I feel like that was its own iteration.
And I do feel like maybe this like knit hot pant moment is now this season's iteration of it. There are quite a few on Revolve right now.I'm going to link them all.Gray, black, a ton.
There's also, if you are someone who still loved that Prada skort moment, where it was the shorts that poked out underneath of the skirt.Again, a lot of moments where the layering is the styling of it.Maj sells a pair on Saks.
It's like a crepe skirt short under $300.And I still think that's really cute if you're someone who wants a little bit more coverage with the short shorts.
I really like the idea of wearing like a gray hot pant, hot short, whatever we want to call it, with like a big oversized blazer and a tee, like maybe out to drinks with friends.
That feels really fun to me and something that I could accomplish and feel good with and not have to wear tights.Okay, nearing the end here, let's talk about the shoes of the season.I think there are two.
I'm thrilled, elated, ecstatic to say that flats are persevering. As someone with back problems, I was thrilled to see them everywhere. Dior, which had a huge emphasis on athletic wear, loved all the flats there.
Acne, Miu Miu, Valentino, there were flats in abundance and in so many different forms.A ballet flat, a really fun kind of like lace-up flat, flats with bows, and of course, Mary Janes.I get so many of you still asking me if Mary Janes are
the thing, should we be getting them? And I'm pleased to say, yes, I think that they're going to be in style for a really long time.I actually do not think they're going to go out of style.
I think they went out of style for a while while we were in like the early 2000s Y2K era.But I do think Mary Janes are here to stay. If you go on my Shopmy, I actually have an entire edit of Mary Janes if you're looking for your right pair.
And I took so much time with that edit.I literally have them in every single color and fabric on there. So I've got you guys covered.
And there's also a video on my Instagram Reels of how to style them if you're looking for ways to style a black pair, a red pair, or even a tweed pair.I've also got you covered on there. So we're keeping it flat, guys.I'm very excited.
But if you are a heel girl like me, despite my back, I love my heels.I wear them everywhere.I had these loafers that I was going to wear to the Hermes show and I was like, nope, I need my heel. They make me feel good.
They give me that like little height and they give me that pep in my step.I am loving the curved heel trend.
If you saw the Tory Burch show this year, almost every single person, including myself, who was sitting front row at the show was wearing the Tory Burch pierced heel.
And that heel has a curved heel that actually, in my opinion, makes the heel more comfortable. It's not as high of a pitch and it's easier on your arches.
So if you are someone, again, who loves a heel like me, but should be in a flat, these are a really good alternative for you.And they're definitely trending right now.
If you like those pierced pumps from Tory Burch, they're a black curved heel pump with this really cool like silver pierced motif on the front. They're on the website right now.I have them in black and I love them.
They're really cool to wear with just like jeans and a black sweater.Like if you have last minute plans and you're like, what do I wear? But I want to feel really cool and elevated.
These are the perfect solve because they're stylish but are its own moment. So you need nothing else with it. They have them in black, and they also have them in this burnt sienna red, and they're on the website. They're $468, so an investment shoe.
But I loved wearing them. And again, they're their own moment.
But I also have seen them at Chloe, Jill Sander, and Zara has some really affordable options that are even lower than the Pierce Pump if you want something that is for purely comfort, but with a little bit of a heel.
Okay, those are my styling moments for you guys. There's one more that I have to say that I think was the most standout styling moment for me because it felt really original.I haven't seen something like it in a while.
It's not going to be for everybody, but I need to get it off my chest because I thought it was just so cool.At the Victoria Beckham show, she had a set of looks go down the runway, identical looks, one in like a beige neutral and one in black.
The top was like a skin tight mesh paired with this beautiful silk chiffon skirt. And the bag was the thing that caught my attention and something I actually might buy from Etsy just to give it a try.
The bag was a classic black Victoria Beckham bag that was inside of an organza like silk tote bag. It was very cool. The organza tote bag was a peachy nude that matched the skirt.
And then, of course, because the bag was black underneath, you could see right through it and see the bag.But it was just this really cool styling moment that I actually would love to try. I have not been able to find the organza tote anywhere.
I don't see it on the website.I think it was just a styling moment for the show, which always drives me a little nuts. But I did find a few of them on Etsy.So just go on there and look up organza tote if you want to try it yourself.
I would try like a light colored organza with like a dark colored bag underneath so you can see through it. But I just thought this was very original, very fun.Something that you could even do with like a bunch of little bags in there.
Like if you want to carry the organza tote and then put like a makeup bag or, you know, a bag with like your charger or anything like that and let the little bags in there be the moment.
I think that's really fun and different and something I definitely am looking forward to wearing next spring. Victoria Beckham is one of those brands that I just really look forward to the show every season.
She's obviously had such a meteoric rise and really like carved out a solid place for herself in the fashion industry, especially as a brand based in London to come and show up in Paris and have such a moment.
I'm always very excited to see her collections. And even last season was very impressed by the unique styling moments that this moment also for me, I think took the cake in terms of originality for this season.
As I mentioned, everything I said is going to be linked on my Shopmy, so if you're like, I can't find this thing, go check it out there. It's linked in the description of this episode.

This is always so much fun to do, so much inspiration, so many new ideas that keep my wheels turning of how to keep my wardrobe fresh and interesting. And what I love about a lot of these ideas is they're not going to break the bank.
They're things that we can already do at home.Maybe it's layering two skirts that we have, or two belts that we have, or even styling a white button-down and a blazer a little bit differently than we have in the past.
