HOW DID KYLO REN GET HIS RED LIGHTSABER AND WHAT HAPPENED TO LUKE'S JEDI TEMPLE? This week Mike delves into the archives to redo the four Rise Of Kylo Ren comics, giving much more information than when he tackled it previously (in episode 1, over 2.5 years ago), including connections to The High Republic, the 2020 Star Wars comics, the 2017 Darth Vader comics, Crimson Reign and gives much more information on the Knights Of Ren! He also delves into the process of bleeding a lightsaber crystal and explains how Kylo got his iconic lightsaber from the sequel trilogy!

This comic mini-series is around 28 ABY (flashbacks between 18-25 ABY), approximately 6 years before the events of The Force Awakens.

The Rise Of Kylo Ren is written by Charles Soule, with Will Sliney as the artist and Guru eFX as the colourist, issue 1 was released December 2019, issue 4 released March 2020 and the trade paperback collection was released August 2020.
