All right, all right. How we doing?
What's happening, Christian? What's happening? We start our new live show with an oops.We started with an oops.
Oops, oops. That's all right, man.Dude.Hey, done is better than perfect, as Scott Thomas would say.Yes, that's right. So what's what's happening, everybody?Happy Friday.
here with, this is our new live, this is the King's Council Live, and we traditionally just do normal podcasts, where Christian and I just rip it together, but Graham has been amazingly just gracious and said, hey, why don't you stream on my channel?
And here we are.Christian is in Plano, Texas.I'm up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where it is stinking cold up here.Dude, what's the temperature in Texas?
Oh, it's actually a little chilly and a little dreary today. We haven't had rain in probably months, I think, but I think it's only in the 60s right now.But I mean, that's it.That's it, man.
This is perfect time to be doing this remote where I don't have to come to Minnesota because winter starts about, I don't know, maybe a couple of weeks ago for you.And it'll last until what?
Almost May. Yeah, we got months and months of it, man.So I might find myself down there just doing this with you every now and then. But yeah, brother, but I wanna give everybody a little update on what the King's Council is.
Some of you, I've been on Graham's show a few different times, and we have obviously some of our listeners as well that are streaming on our YouTube channel, some of our platforms, and then we're also here on Rumble, Dear America, Graham Allen's channel.
And of course, for those that don't know, We've got the one and only Royce in the background that's actually running the show for us.So shout out to Royce helping us out with this.Love you, brother.
And we'll see if we can get him to pop up here every now and then for us.But the King's Council, just so you guys know, we are a, I mean, essentially we're a ministry.
We've been at this for about five years, and we specifically, we disciple entrepreneurs.
and so we, on our podcast, we've been at that thing for a few years now, and every week we've been putting out content just on a biblical perspective on business, money, finances, sales, marketing, culture. We've even dived into politics.
I know that's what you guys love to hear, and so we wanted to take time just to, every Friday we're gonna be hopping on at 11 o'clock Central Standard Time, and yeah, we're gonna talk about politics, we're gonna talk about
culture, but we're going to be doing it from a kingdom perspective.
Not that Graham doesn't, he no question does, but we may even go a little bit deeper, spend some time into the word and be able to actually provide scripture references and everything for you guys as well.
So that'll be Christian and I. We're going to have guests on each and every week as well.
except this week, you just get us this week, but every week we're gonna have some guest appearances as well, which is gonna be fun, and we're gonna talk, heck, we may even talk sports a little bit, bro.
Yeah, if we got some time, if we got some time, I think there's a few topics I'd like to discuss, and it's not the Jets coming back and winning big last night, but we do have some other good topics to talk about here today in the sports world as well.
How'd you do?I'm pumped, but I gotta ask, how'd you do on DraftKings?I know you put in your little $5 lineup and you said at halftime Rodgers had one point, but he lit it up in the second half.
Yeah, 1.08 points. And he did light it up.He brought me close, but I still didn't double my $5.So I lost last night, man.I've got Sunday to make up for it, though.Yeah, yeah, back to work. And yes, I will sing for those in the chat.
You never know when it's coming though. So that stuff just happens every now and then.
Yeah, you got a lot of songs and lyrics in your head. We'll be talking about the most random thing and you'll bust out in tune because it'll just remind you of a song that you heard.
Yeah, but then you always correct me, bro.So that's how we work well together here because 99% of the time I'm wrong on some of the lyrics or who actually sang it.
Especially when it has to do with hip hop from our generation, for sure.Yeah.
For the new listeners and viewers on Rumble, I mean, we've talked about Riley's Vanilla Ice poster that he won at a carnival when he was a child and how that really paved the trajectory of his life. How monumental that was.
I'm kidding, of course, I'm kidding, but we do like to- Apart from Jesus, vanilla ice has played a huge role in my life, no question.Right, right, right.
For those that don't know, too, the King's Council, we, as I mentioned, we disciple entrepreneurs. We do a Bible study every Wednesday morning as well that Christian Edwards leads us through.
That's just kingscouncilbiblestudy.com, so you guys can always check that out if you like, if you want to go deeper. because that's really our heart. At the end of the day, we are the church, the body of believers. The church is not an institution.
The church is not a building. The church, the ecclesia, is a body of believers that come together and help to just sharpen each other, to disciple each other. And that's what we do on Wednesday mornings.
That's what we're gonna do here on this show as well. But bro, I wanna dive, let's dive into some like, I mean, there's not that much news going on, is there?
Oh, no, we're only four days away from the biggest election in I don't think just our lifetime, but in our nation's history.
So no question. No question.Extremely important. And for those even that don't know, I'm sure you guys all know, the last four days seeing Graham, he's been knocking doors and him and Todd have been out doing the heavy lifting, which has been amazing.
But part of it is too, as we are believers here and within the church, we've seen a lot of examples of
some amazing pastors, Turning Point Faith, Turning Point USA, collectively, they've been leading the charge across the nation and been doing an amazing job.And we've seen a lot of pastors step up to the plate, but we've also seen a lot of
dare we just say woke pastors that are leading people astray, unfortunately. And I want to dive into this today with you, man.
And I think we've got some clips and things that we'll be able to share and just talk about this from a biblical perspective of the importance of this for the welfare of our nation, of our children, of our children's children?
And really, what's at stake here?
And hopefully, if there's anybody that's even on the fence, I doubt there is, but if there is anybody that's on the fence, like, hey, should I even participate in this if it's voting for the lesser of evils or, you know, I don't like one,
but the other one's clearly evil, and a lot of the practices, a lot of the policies, and so we're gonna just dive into a lot of this today for folks, and hey, maybe even have a.
a buddy, a friend, a believer that needs to hear this right now, from a biblical perspective, a biblical worldview, I would invite you guys to share this link with them right now.So lead us into this, bro.
Because I've been getting calls, and my role within the King's Council, the King's Council is my ministry now, ministry background, well, for the last 13 years since I've been saved after a 14-year drug addiction and living my life in complete darkness and depression.
But the role I serve is spiritual counsel, pastoral counsel for those folks that are part of the King's Council community. And I've been getting calls this past week from guys that are saying, just super frustrated,
saying, I go to a church where we're not talking about the election. My church is passive. My pastor is passive. What can I do about this?
And it's a shame because so many pastors don't want to preach politics from the pulpit, but all the issues, all the major issues that are being talked about long before they were political topics, they were biblical topics.
Israel, borders, religious liberties, family, sanctity of life, biological sex, that's all clearly laid out in Scripture.
So these are all things that God spoke on and is clear about in Scripture, and they were biblical issues before they're political issues.
So for a pastor to say, I'm not going to talk about these issues, it's like, okay, I'm going to shut down all these different chapters and verses and passages in the Bible that talk about these things, because I don't want to be political.
I mean, what are we doing? And I've mentioned it on this show in the past, I think the biggest problem within the church in the West, excuse me, especially in America, is our biblical illiteracy.
Even folks who go to church every Sunday, there's just biblical illiteracy rampant throughout the church. And it's because there's a lot of churches that simply don't preach scripture, right? They don't preach the Bible, they preach a message.
They try to get folks to show up on Sundays and it's a concert, it's a party, get everybody hyped up.
And then they walk out the door and they go right back to the life of, maybe not even like a sinful life, but they're not living a life with Jesus as Lord of their life.
So in preparation, with that, with that even being said, dude, I'm gonna cut you off.
I would like to know, in the chat for those that are that are listening, if you're part of a Bible believing, culture influencing type of community, I would love to throw the name of your church and location in there because
We want to know who are the ones that are willing to stand up for truth and are fighting the fight, the good fight here, versus those that are just kind of sitting back and preaching about God's love. is love.
The Bible tells us that, but at the end of the day, sometimes we got to love some people in the face with some truth and actually hold people accountable to what scripture actually says versus what's appealing to the world, what's appealing to the masses.
And as you mentioned, I think a lot of them are putting on, trying to do a motivational sermon on Sundays versus actually discipleship, which is what the church is truly about, right?Sunday morning is not church.
That may be where you attend a building, you may attend an event that's going on, but church in itself is something that should be something we do on a daily basis, on a regular basis. It's communion with the other body of believers.
And so, yeah, just keep throwing them in there.I'd love to see all these other, Pastor Alan Jackson, he's a stud, man.Love him, and there's so many good ones out there, and we just want people to know, where are they? But then there's a lot of,
There's a lot of woke ones too, unfortunately. And I think there's gonna be a day where they're gonna have to...
you know, ultimately be accountable to what they've done or what they didn't do, which I think we're gonna dive into as well on this for those that are actually just like sitting back and like, I don't wanna get involved.
I just, you know, I just wanna love people. No, we have to get involved. We have to take territory. We know, scripture says that the gates of hell will not prevail and gates are not an offensive weapon.
So, to me, this just means that the church itself is on the offense here.We have to take territory. This is the advancement of the kingdom. That's what Genesis 128, a part of our God's succession plan here on earth was to have dominion on this earth.
That means bringing kingdom culture into the marketplace, outside these four walls of church, outside of even your home, but into the marketplace to continually advance and take territory because we know those gates, they don't prevail.
This shirt, I'm wearing this shirt for a reason today, baby.Jesus won.No matter who wins on Tuesday, Jesus already won.But we gotta fight the fight. We have to occupy, as Luke 19 tells us, until he comes.Occupy.
And that's part of what the King's Council and this community, this culture that we're looking to create is truly all about. At the end of the day, I said this on last week's podcast, God blesses our footprints, not our butt prints.
And we have to get up, we have to take action, we have to fight the good fight, because we get one life, right? And that's what we are ultimately gonna be held accountable to.Christian, give us some scripture, man.
Let's dive deep into this here on why we need to actually participate in this.
Yeah.Well, first just want to shout out some of these churches in the chat here.Emily saying she's planting a church with her husband and they teach the Bible verse by verse. That's the way I do it too.
If a church doesn't do that, I don't know what you're doing really.I teach topical from time to time, but you can't beat just going through verse by verse. You cover everything when you go through verse by verse, even the tough topics.
Raven Assembly of God in Raven, Virginia, Oak Ridge Baptist Church down here in Texas. This is good. But about a month ago, Pastor Ray Ortland from Tennessee, prominent pastor, he tweeted, never Trump, this time Harris, always Jesus.
And then he, by the end of the day, he took it down. And he said, I've deleted a post from earlier today because it was being misinterpreted.I should have foreseen it, my fault. Now there's nothing to misinterpret.
Never Trump, this time Harris, always Jesus. It's pretty declarative in my opinion. So in response to this, there's also a pastor in Tennessee, Ray Ortlund's in Tennessee. His name is Johnny Artavanis.
And he, I love too that that guy's just like, he's like an old white guy.Just let's just say, let's just point that out.Right.Right.So there we go.
Right.Pastor Johnny, uh, he, he got in the pulpit the following week.So this is just a few weeks ago.And he, he spoke of this tweet and really what the church needs to do.And,
I don't think the issue with the church, like true spirit-filled believers of Jesus Christ, right?John, in his first epistle, he sums up all of humanity. You fall into one of two categories. You're either a child of God or a child of the devil.
If you're a child of God, you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ. You've been sealed with the Holy Spirit. You've been made new, a new creation, like 2 Corinthians 5.17 says.
So, if you're not in that category, you're actually a child of the devil, and you're an unbeliever. And scripture says that the enemy blinds the minds of unbelievers, so they're susceptible to deception. And when I see figures of faith, right?
CNN just said the other day, a thousand faith leaders came out to endorse Kamala.
Well, I don't want to question anybody's salvation, but how can you truly be a spirit-filled believer of Jesus Christ and endorse a political candidate and a party that is demonic and wicked? And I know people say, well, look at Trump. He's a bad guy.
Look at all the marriages to this, to that. Unless Jesus Christ is running for office, you're always going to have to choose between the lesser of two evils.
But when you look at the system, when you look at the party, when you look at what they stand for, in my opinion, and the opinion of, I think, more and more people, more Christians, which is
great to hear that you cannot be a true Christian, true follower of Jesus Christ and vote for Kamala Harris, not in the year 2024.If the political scene shifts in the future and it's not as polarizing and the platform of the Democrats,
they become less demonic, perhaps things will shift in the future, but where we are in this nation, in this day and age, there's no way a Christian can vote for Kamala Harris.
So yeah, Royce, cue this up, and we'll stop it along as you go here, but play- I haven't even watched this yet, bro.
I'm excited to watch this.
Great.Go ahead.Let it rip, Royce.
I was thinking through it.I think in many ways, a lot of people in the church today have a misconception about the mission of Jesus.
And I wrote down a few thoughts, and this is not an aside, but I think it is something that is fitting because of the text we're in, that many people confuse Jesus's mission.
I saw a pastor this week, very well-known pastor, that said, he tweeted or something, never Trump, this year Harris, always Jesus. I just want you to understand that that is one of the most foolish things I've ever seen.
And here's why people have asked me this week if I have opinions politically.I have opinions, a lot of them.I'm not a political commentator.I'm a preacher of the Bible. But certain things politically are more theological than they used to be.
So, let me just give you some things about where I stand because people have texted me a few things and I'll just This stuff is not hard for me to say.Number one, the Democratic Party is a demonic death cult under the power and influence of Satan.
I'll repeat what he just said. And I love that a pastor actually said this from the pulpit. He said the Democratic Party is a demonic death cult under the power and influence of Satan.
Oh, I mean, I've heard good pastors come out and talk about these issues and talk about the election and talk about who Christians should vote for, but I've never heard something like this from the pulpit.
But I think it's phenomenal, because it's truth.It's truth.What do you think?
What's this guy's name again?
His name is Johnny Artavanis.I hope I'm pronouncing that right.Yeah.And where's he out of?He's out of Tennessee, same state as Ray Orland.
All right, all right.Yeah, dude, I wanna hear more of this.Play it, Royce.
No, I'll explain why I say hold on.To vote for the Democrats is to vote for a platform that is building their platform upon everything God hates.
the mutilation of bodies, the annihilation of babies in the womb, and the sexualization of your children. That is their calling card. That is what they want to do.They don't hide that. They have abortion facilities outside of the Democratic Convention.
This is who they are. It's the most radical party in our country's history. So, I don't see how you could be a Christian and vote for a party who promotes everything that God hates. That's the first thing.
Secondly, you have a responsibility and privilege to vote for the option that best stems the tide of evil.
There we go.Yeah, he said the Democratic Party is building their entire platform that all that they're about are the things that God hates.
And what's remarkable to me is that's so clear, it's so evident, and I believe that we are a church that's biblically illiterate because we are called to hate the things that are evil, to love what is good.
And I mean, I have some scripture to back it up.I mean, Romans 12.9 says, abhor what is evil, cling to what is good. Psalms 97 10 you who love the Lord hate evil, right? If you're if you love the Lord you are called to hate evil.
It's okay I started praying this recently I started praying that my heart would truly hate the things in which God hates and Some people are like, oh god.God is love.He doesn't hate anything. No 100% He hates evil Amos 5.15 says, hate evil, love good.
Hebrews 1.9, and this is God the Father speaking to Jesus. He says, you have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. So the Bible is absolutely clear that we are to hate evil. And when we see one political party representing things that are
evil, not just because they look evil, because in our good moral hearts they're evil to me.It's not an objective thing. It's very subjective. This evil and wickedness is a subjective thing, and we 100% as Christians cannot, cannot, cannot
endorse a candidate, cannot vote for a candidate that supports these things. And I was one of those Christians where, you know, before 2016, I had only been walking with the Lord for five years up until that point.
And I, you know, politics, even voting, it's like, God will take care of it.
And then we had 2016, which was pivotal, 2020, which was more pivotal, and now the year 2024, which is, as I started this thing, the most pivotal election in our lifetime, if not the nation's history.
I believe that if we don't vote, period, because again, I don't think for a true Christian, the issue isn't who to vote for. the issue is getting out and voting.
We can't say we're just going to sit this thing out because as James 4.17 tells us, therefore to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin, right? To him it is sin.So that's the sin of omission.
So I believe, and this is controversial for sure, that if you are a Christian, a true Christian,
not the air quote Christian where, you know, you're one of these chicks on Instagram that says, you know, daughter of God, and then you're shaking your booty.
Yeah, Philippians 4.13 and then like three bikini shots, right?
Yeah, you're twerking in front of the camera.I'm not talking about those Christians.I'm talking about true Christians, children of God. I got news for the world, not everybody's a child of God.Scripture is clear about that.
John 3, it's not until you place your faith in Jesus Christ and you're adopted into this family of faith, we become co-heirs with Jesus Christ.
We're now in the kingdom, but we're not a child of God until we say yes to the Lord, we place our faith in him.So we're all God's creation, but we're not all God's children.
Yeah, I think that's news for a lot of people.I don't think that gets talked about a lot, right? That can be hard to hear.
If you haven't put your faith, put your trust in Jesus, actually received him as savior of your life, man, it sounds kind of wicked and gnarly to be like, you're a child of the devil. That's real, right?
And that's what, truth sometimes, this is the importance of this, is that it needs to be spoken about. It can't be, as you just mentioned in James, it's like if you just let things pass and you just let things slide, bro, that's a sin.
Like that's something you get to be accountable for, which is something that I'm just not willing to do.
Hence the reason we're even doing this show and we want to talk about this, we're continually talking about truth so others can actually hear it for themselves for the first time.We got more on this clip we wanna listen to?
Sure, yeah, let it rip, Royce.
I want you to also understand that there are no perfect candidates in this election. They're both broken people, but one of them presents a far better option at the preservation of life and the upholding of the family than the other.
A failure to vote is a failure to express our gratitude to the men and women that have died for our country and given us the freedom that we have today. It's also a failure to
I believe, obey the calling that we have to uphold the righteousness in our land. You don't have to like the personality, you just vote for the best option between the policies. And one of them is far less worse than the other.I think that's obvious.
Yeah, you talk about the righteousness of the land. Now Proverbs 14, 34 says, Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.Right? So righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach, meaning it's a disgrace.Right?
The sin, this evil platform of the Democratic Party right now, it's a disgrace. And then Proverbs 29.2 says, when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
And best believe, I don't care if you're LeBron James, who's endorsing Kamala and putting out videos like he did yesterday that that are making Trump seem like the second coming of Hitler.I don't care if you're the Avengers who's endorsing Kamala.
I don't care if you're Megan Thee Stallion who's shaking her booty on stage at a Kamala rally. All these folks, one way or another, they're going to groan if this is the leadership that we have in office.
Yeah, this makes me even think, you know, Scripture tells us that all authority comes from God, but the reality, not all seats are occupied by people of God, right? And that's where we get to participate in this.
It is our moral and, you know, it's our
our duty as citizens, not only of our country, but as citizens of the kingdom of heaven as well, why we have to participate in these things, because we are the ones that are supposed to be occupying, taking territory.
This is why we need more believers that are, and not just believers, but like,
full-on Jesus is Lord of their life, not just looking as Savior, but why we need more of them to step up, to take these seats, to actually fight for, even at the council level, mayor of your city, the platforms that oftentimes you'd get overlooked, which do dictate a lot of decisions in our everyday life.
In those, obviously, in the higher rankings as well, whether it's Congress and Senate and ultimately the presidency here.I don't know if you saw this, man, but I think I sent it over to you.Pastor Mark Driscoll is a dude who I deeply respect.
He's gone through a lot of junk in his life.We were actually invited to attend the NA, NFAB, I don't remember what it even stood for, but a bunch of leaders, pastors, went into Atlanta this past weekend.
Turning point, Faith actually even did an event separate than this in Atlanta last week.Mark posted a video after he got to spend time with Trump. you know, he's like, he seems like a great guy, you know, very likable, good guy.
But at the end of the day, it's not even a question, who are we to even judge if he's truly saved or not?But I do know God's working in him.No question on that. You don't even have to be a believer to recognize that.
And that being said, you mentioned just kind of the lesser of evils, and even on that video, it's like,
Even if you take abortion off of it, even if you take all the LGBTQ alphabet soup stuff that they got going on, just stuff that is clearly morally and ethically just like wacko, take that off the table.Just look at the other policies alone.
Look at the state of the economy.Look at even where you were at four years ago compared to today. It can't even be more clear other than, as you mentioned, God, people are blinded.
They are blinded by the ridiculousness that's actually taking place and all the more reason why we have to step up and fight the good fight. So is that it for that clip, man, or is there good?Is there more?
Well, play the clip, a little more of the clip, but I want to mention, because you talked about getting godly people into office and even in local municipalities, but judges are so important, as we could see all these liberal judges that are trying to lock up Donald Trump.
But judges is talked about in the Bible.Of course, Isaiah 1 26 says, I will restore your judges as at the first and your counselors as at the beginning.Afterwards, you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.
So what this verse is actually saying is if you choose right judges, They will bring righteousness to the land by virtue of their decisions. And Trump in his first term, he appointed 226 federal judges, more than any other president in a single term.
So it's important to think about that. You're not just voting for Trump.
You may disagree with some of the things Trump says, some character flaws he may have, but you're also voting for the 5,000 people that are going to Washington with him, that are going to uphold.
And whether or not they're individually, personally walking with the Lord, if their platform and their policies are biblical,
and they're pro-Christian, then why would we, like, how could we not, not why would, how could we not as the church get him into office? And four years ago, it was estimated 32 million Christians who are eligible to vote sat it out, sat it out.
And we know that in the election, some of those states came down to a couple thousand votes. So again, it's not who we should vote for, it's actually getting out and voting. But yeah, Royce, cue it up.Let's watch the rest of this.
Just in general, it comes from the Latin word votum, which means to make a choice. You're not voting for a pastor, you're voting for a guy that, as best we have as an option, upholds righteousness in the land.
Number three, and this is why I said hold on, because There are certain people that are going to amen the political thing, but I also want the amens just to be as loud as when I say this. Our hope is not in a political party.
Who is in the White House is far less important than who is on the throne in heaven.
And I want you to also understand, because I've watched some videos this week that contradict this idea, the advancement of the gospel isn't reliant a single ounce upon who is president.
I want you to understand that where Christianity spreads the fastest and the farthest are in the nations that are persecuted the most. Not where there's the most religious freedom.
The reason our world is crumbling, the reason we're under the judgment of God is because we've turned our back on God.And if you want to see political reform, you need to see a spiritual revival. It's not the other way around.
You don't pursue political reform so that there can be a spiritual revival. So when people say things like, we need to get this guy in office and then there will be a spiritual revival in our land. No, there won't be.No, there won't be.
That's not the way it works, and that's never been the way it works.Number four, we should speak out against the evil of our day, but you should never turn the mission field into your enemy.
Pause that, Royce. Never turn the mission field into your enemy. And I'm not saying your enemy are those who oppose your political ideologies by any means, but the mission field is everybody who's not saved.
And a good indicator that they're not saved is they are supporting democratic, wicked, evil policies. So we're not to be so polarizing.
We're not to just call them out on their foolishness and goofiness in their beliefs, because as I mentioned before, it's the enemy that blinds their minds. They're easily deceived.I was easily deceived.
I mean, up until I encountered the Lord for the first time and said yes to Him and got radically transformed, I only believed in Him just to blame Him for all my problems.
that I was an athlete, I got injured, I got hooked on painkillers, and it led to 14 years of darkness, depression, suicidal thoughts.God, you're only real to blame this on, right?
So I was easily deceived, easily deceived, because now as a spirit-filled believer, it's so clear that God is real, right? It's so evident to me, not just with what He's done in my life, but what you see around you.So
I don't want anybody to misinterpret what we're saying. And I don't want anybody to chastise those who don't believe what you believe. They are the mission field still. So we're still to meet them with love and grace.
But like you said earlier, Riley, one of the best ways we could love somebody is to smack them right in the face with truth. With truth.
Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. And you even just kind of representing like your your testimony a little bit, man, it made me even think, you know, I'd, I'd, like receive crisis savior at the age of 16.And, you know, I walked with him for a number of years.
But then as I started to just pursue business and entrepreneurship and money, I found myself drifting. This is what I think has happened in the church. It's what's happened within the country as a whole, that people aren't
staying true to the Word of God.I saw somebody a while ago posted in the chat that people aren't reading the Bible for themselves.
And if that's you, if you're one that actually just goes and attends church, you're a consumer on a Sunday, or maybe you just watch
shows like this or sermons, but you're not actually spending time in the Word of God yourself, this is where we can get deceived really, really quick.
And I know The Enemy has done an incredible job at infiltrating the church and the minds of believers, and this is why we have to be continually transformed by the renewing of our mind, and that happens by spending time in the Word of God.
If we're not doing that, this is just a call to arms to get in the Word of God.Sometimes it's hard to understand, believe me.
I know when I first started to dive back in, especially when Christian gave me the New King James Version, it's better than the King James, but there's still a little this, thou, that, and there.I needed some help.
I needed some interpretation in my life, but that's just, again, a part of The body, that's what the church is about, to be able to disciple each other and to be able to provide a shoulder to lean on, right?
And so that's just a take on that is it just reminded me of where I had gone astray. And I think this is what's happened within the church.
as you know, not everybody obviously, but a lot of believers have let the world influence them, what culture thinks is good, which is clearly evil, which is what the Bible tells us is going to continually happen.
Those who call good evil and evil good, like that's gonna continue to happen. So none of this stuff should even be a surprise for us, but how would you know?
How would you know that if you weren't actually spending time in the word of God and actually reading it for yourself? A little bit left on the clip?
Yeah, I think we're good with the clip. This Bible right here, it's the true living Word of God.It's alive, it's breathing, it'll open your eyes, it'll open your mind, it'll open your ears. This is truth. This is the standard right here.
It's important when we live in a day and age where truth is relative. So many people say, well, my truth is this. It's like, well, it can't be your truth, right? It can't just be an objective truth. That's not truth.
There's only one truth across the board. And Jesus is the way, the truth, the life, right? It's him. It's his word.As you were saying that, I was thinking of bank tellers,
they don't train bank tellers how to spot counterfeits by giving them different counterfeits and things like that. They just tell them to work with the real money.
Because when you have your hands and your eyes on the real thing, when a counterfeit pops up, you'll spot it right away.So we can't spot deception if we don't know what the real truth is.We can't know what the real truth is if we're not in a word.
Yes.Yeah, I don't think we have the clip to show, but You saw Kamala yesterday or the day before actually literally quoting scripture incorrectly, but she was literally, this is literally what the enemy does since the Garden of Eden.
What he did to Adam and Eve in the garden by just tweaking scripture just a little bit to get us to go down this rabbit trail, and it's what has happened since the beginning of time.
The enemy doesn't change his tactics, but we, as you mentioned, if we're not actually in the word and understand and know what it truly says, it's easy for people to cherry pick, to grab things and try to throw it in your face, and some, oh, love you, Royce.
I don't know, is this a video, bro, can we play this?
As a nation, we face real challenges. We carry. We carry.
Wasn't that one, man? That kid is like eight years old, by the way, sounded like. He must have been at the wrong rally as she would say There's one boat though.
I think Jack Hibbs posted it man where she was quoting part of like Proverbs 31 I think yeah, yeah and that I don't even remember exactly what it was, but it's her trying to justify abortion and watching over those that don't have a voice.
But at the end of the day, the voiceless, the true voiceless are those in the womb. And it's just a way, again, where the enemy will continue to try to
construe Scripture and make it seem good for their ultimate purpose, but that clearly was not the intent of that verse in Proverbs.
Yeah, yeah, she said that. She mentioned she kind of meshed together three different verses all from Paul, but she talked about God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think according to the power of the people.
We have the power. It's like according to the power that works in us, it's the Holy Spirit. It's not God gives us the power to now vote Kamala and change this nation, which I mean, again, I have to fall back on that.
And the enemy blinds the eyes of the minds of unbelievers, excuse me, because it's so clear to me, like, it's so logical. The Biden-Harris administration has been running this country for four years.
So, and we don't even really know, you know, she's starting to mention some things that she'll do that are like playbook things that Trump has already said that he will do.She's starting to do that, but we don't even really know her policy.
So now the power of the people, the power that God gives us, we're gonna make a change in this nation that she's been running for the last four years.Makes no logical sense, no logical sense.
Right.Did you ever watch the Rogan JD Vance? No, I haven't seen it.No.Okay.Well, like three hours long, obviously. So carve out some time.
I haven't watched the whole thing, but I did see some, some clips on there, you know, him, him referencing Kamala as the Michael Jordan of, uh, of word salad, which is exactly, exactly what it is.Um, literally saying like 500 words, but
We have no clue what she actually just said.Yeah.Yeah.
Yeah. It's crazy.Even the things that when Biden, uh, you know, when he's calling half the country, well, it's probably more than half the country. That's an actual Trump supporter that were garbage.Right.
when we're called deplorable, when we're called Nazis, all these things. It's just unbelievable to me when she, somebody like Joe Biden, when he said that, CNN came out and said, they defended him, said, well, he has a stutter.
It's like, what does that mean?He has a stutter. It's not he has a stutter. He's got one foot in the grave. He's old. He's got dementia.I mean, I'm not knocking him for it.Old people get dementia. But at the same time, you can't blame that on a stutter.
on a freaking slider, he said what he said. And I believe he was pretty declarative with it.
So yeah, there's been a couple viewpoints that it that have popped out was, well, yeah, then they put an apostrophe into it that it was, you know, referencing the comedian that spoke at Madison Square Garden, because he made the joke about Puerto Rico being garbage.
And, and then I saw one, I think it was this morning, it was last night, I don't remember, but it was is Joe Biden trying to like sabotage Kamala in their campaign. It's like, what?
The poor guy doesn't even know what he's actually doing at any given time.So don't even give him that much credit.Lots of viewpoints on that.So it's hilarious, man.
Yeah, Emily mentioned in the chat, the word, right? It's about knowing the word and our response should always be the truth of the word. And you mentioned, this has been Satan's playbook from the very beginning.
And look back at when he tempted Jesus, when Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days, and when he was weak, tired, hungry, the devil came and misquoted scripture to him.And what was Jesus' response? It is written. It is written.
We have to know what is written. We have to know what truth is.And I mean, that's why I'm passionate about it.And I'm not claiming to know the Bible better than my brother or sister next to me, but I do know the Bible.
I am adamant about reading the Bible. So I do know the truth and I'm not, I for one, me and my family, we're going to serve the Lord and we're not going to be easily deceived by any means.
Yes. Yeah, I know in talking with you two about this whole topic, you mentioned just this whole understanding that silence is consent, right? So if anything, our hope and encouragement out of this is that people will speak up, right?
And be willing to put yourself out there and be willing to stand for truth because if not you, then who? Right?
Especially if any of you have kids, if you have maybe grandkids, or you expect to have kids and you want them to grow up in a society that they can actually even read a Bible, right?
They can actually, I think it was interesting about that, what that pastor had said too. It's like these other countries where the gospel is actually advancing are like some of the most persecuted countries. And we've just become,
Here in America, just gonna say it, we are freaking weak.We have pills to take pain away.We have access to this cotton candy, fluffy life, and we expect that there shouldn't be any sort of hurt, any sort of struggle, any sort of pain.
The reality is, that's the world we live in. We've done an incredible job at trying to cover that junk up and trying to create excuses on why we don't want to, you know, go in to do hard things.
But at the end of the day, you are called to do hard things. In this life, you will have trouble. You will have trials. You will have persecution. And when the way that the government in itself, which by the way,
I think the real problem is we have become too reliant on the government to what the church is actually supposed to be doing. taking care of widows and orphans.Where's the church in this stuff?
We've become so self, just reliant on, oh, I want my hand out, or even what has just caused people to vote a certain way in the past. It's like what they can get out of it, without thinking of the long-term ramifications of anything.
I could list a number of programs and policies that are just moronic for the long term.At the end of the day, if you're a believer, you're a blood-bottomed believer, we have to set our minds on the eternal. What's our eternal focus?
What's that perspective like? Not what we're dealing with in the here and now.Yes, we are to occupy, we are to create a culture and environment that we are to take territory. And that means be on the offense, right?
Not in a hateful way, in a loving way.Stand for truth and actually be willing to step up and fight the good fight. But let's not forget too, what the church should be doing in this matter. and a lot of them just unfortunately are not, right?
So I went on a little tangent there, but I wanted you to get into this silent, because I know you hit on this in Bible study on Wednesday a little bit, and I thought it was so good, man.So I'll share it with you, or you share it with us, if you will.
Sure, sure, yeah. We're called to be doers of righteousness and justice, right? The Bible calls on us to do that. We're called to be ambassadors. We're called to be salt of the earth, light of the world.
So anybody who just thinks you could do any of those things by just sitting at home and praying, praying is great.Praying is a priority, 100%.And at the very least, we should all be praying.Go out and vote, because voting, I don't,
I think maybe it's as important because you're actually exercising your faith. You're actually doing righteousness and justice by getting out and voting.
But so many Christians, they just sit back and pray, just trusting in the Lord, just trusting in the Lord, and they're not doing. But we see from Genesis to Revelation, we see a book, we see Canon, where you see these beasts of the faith
that their faith is considered nothing until they actually did something about it, right? That's how they actually displayed their faith, by actively.Kamala, the great Christian she is, she actually says, I was raised that faith is a verb.
Well, that's the one thing she did say that was actually correct.Yes, faith is a verb.I don't know who she's actually placing her faith in, but faith is actually a verb.So with silence being consent,
There's a passage in Numbers chapter 30, and I'll read it real briefly, but this definitely sets the principle that our silence is consent, and for a Christian to not vote, just sit this one out, you're as guilty as the person who actually votes for Kamala.
So Numbers chapter 30, verses three through.
And even, to cut you off too, and even if you decide to vote for somebody else that's on the ballot.I can't even name the names.I saw them, but no clue who they were.
If you vote for that because it's like, I don't like either of these, you're not doing anybody any help in this situation. You might as well not vote if that's who you're actually voting for. This is a two-party system here in America.
You gotta pick one.All right, go ahead.
Yeah, and we just heard yesterday that some people were voting in California. They didn't even see Trump on the ballot. So I'm not reporting that as news, that's what we heard, but we do have a buddy who went to vote in California.
He and his wife, they took out their IDs and they said, oh no, we don't need those here. So it's like- Yeah, wild.
I mean, but it's to be expected. It's to be expected. But this is all the more reason, the only way that we win this thing is being, as they say, too big to rig. When the masses show up, it's too big for them to actually rig this thing.
They can't come up with 400 million votes, right? There's not that many people here in America. So this is why, again, call the arms to get out there and vote.
So numbers 30 says when a young woman still living in her father's household makes a vow to the Lord or obligates herself by a pledge and her father hears about the vow or pledge, but says nothing to her, then all her vows and every pledge by which she obligated herself will stand.
But if her father forbids her when he hears about it, none of her vows or the pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. The Lord will release her because her father has forbidden her.
And it says if she marries after she makes a vow or after her lips utter a rash promise by which she obligates herself. So now it's the same principle applies because the women back in that day, you're under the authority of your father.
You still are today under the authority of your father. And then when you get married, you're under the authority of your husband.
And it says if her husband hears about and says nothing to her, then her vows of which she pledges by which she obligated herself will stand. But if her husband forbids her, when he hears about it, he nullifies the vow
that obligates her or the rash promise by which she obligates herself and the Lord will release her.So the principle here is that she makes a vow to the Lord and if the father or husband says nothing, then that implies consent, right?
It's not until he actually objects that all of a sudden you're doing something about it and that vow will not be heard. So silence 100% equals acceptance.Silence, 100% equals consent.Get that straight, people of God.
Like if you're silent and you're saying, you're not saying, no, I'm sending this out. You're actually saying yes to the one who is more evil, 100%.And then we have a passage in Leviticus, Leviticus 20.I'm bringing them out today, Riley. We got numbers.
We got- This is like, what?
Listen to the principle in this one.And this one, when you hear this, this one is what really wrecks my heart.Leviticus 20, verses one through five. And I'm reading from the NLT here.
It says, the Lord said to Moses, give the people of Israel these instructions, which apply both to native Israelites and to the foreigners living in Israel. If any of them offer their children as a sacrifice to Moloch, then they must be put to death.
The people of the community must stone them to death. So they're saying if you're actually sacrificing your child to this pagan God, that you as the real people of God, their punishment is to be stoned to death. You need to take action, right?
But get this, it says, I myself, this is God speaking, I myself will turn against them and cut them off from the community because they have defiled my sanctuary and brought shame on my holy name by offering their children to Moloch.
And if the people of the community ignore those who offer their children to Molech and refuse to execute them, I myself will turn against them and their families and will cut them off from the community.
This will happen to all who commit spiritual prostitution by worshiping Molech. So what this is here is simply that this is tacit admission. And there's this thing in law called the rule of tacit admission.
And that is it's implied admission that can be reasonably inferred from a party's act statement or failure to perform an act.It occurs when someone remains silent in response to an accusation.
So for this passage that we just read above, if you close your eyes and ignore the killing of babies, you are guilty. That's what this passage is literally saying.
If you close your eyes and say, I'm just going to watch it, I'm not going to get involved.I love Jesus, but I'm not going to get involved in this. But when we have one party that is intentional, they don't just support the killing of babies.
They rally around it and they celebrate the killing of babies. They celebrate child mutilation. They celebrate these things. And for a Christian to say, I'm just going to sit back.Well, guess what? You are guilty because you are doing nothing about it.
And I believe this passage in Leviticus backs that up.
Yes, it does, man.It does. All right, I know we're getting towards the end of the hour here.We said we're gonna try to keep this thing to an hour. But this has all been good.
I hope that, if anything, this is just an encouragement for those listening that, hey, if you're not in the game, it's time to get into the game here.Because this is part of your duty, this is part of,
Not just if you are a believer, but as your duty, your obligation here as a citizen of the United States is to participate. You may not want to be involved with it, but God wants you to be involved with it.This is for the welfare of our nation.
This is the welfare of your kiddos' kiddos.
Hey, let me read this last verse here.I know we're wrapping up, but Jesus actually says something about this, because if we allow a political candidate or party to get into office because we did nothing about it, we voted.
It's not so much about voting for Trump, but it's voting against Kamala, right? But let's get out and vote for Trump.
Jesus says in Matthew 18, six through seven, it says, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it will be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Woe to the world because of offenses, right?Woe to the world because of offenses.Woe to the world because of this sin, right?Because of offenses, for offenses must come, but get this, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes.
So what Jesus is saying is that it's... It's a real thing.Like if you sin, that's a real thing and you have to deal with that. But what Jesus is saying here is that it's even worse to lead somebody else into a lifestyle of sin.
So that's, that's worse than sinning yourself. And when he's talking about little children, he's not just talking about little children. He's talking about those who are, uh, just haven't been warped by the world yet.
They still have this innocence about them.So yes, little children apply, but it's more than that. It's those who haven't been indoctrinated by this evil world system that we live in.And what Jesus is saying is saying, whoa.
And when Jesus says, whoa, that's a declaration of inescapable judgment, right? But it's also an expression of a sorrowness of heart.
Jesus is saying, whoa, to those who not just push this agenda, but if you do nothing to stop this evil, wicked agenda of the Democratic Party, Woe to you. That's harsh words. And I take that and I'm convicted.I said this on Bible study.
I said, I want to go out and vote again.I voted a couple of days ago.I want to go out and vote again.Right.If I go to the right state, I probably could. But I'm fired up.It's not like I'm just reading scripture.I'm just fired up.
I'm passionate about this because I'm just simply reading scripture and what it says. And that's why we've said it throughout this entire episode.
If you don't know the word, if you don't know the truth, then how can you fight against all the evil, all the deception that's going around?
Yes, yes, that is truly the sword of the Spirit. That's what it is, the living, breathing Word of God.And in order to, you know, be equipped with that sword, you got to if you got an empty sheath, is that what it's called?
The sheath that you pull the sword from?Yes.Oh, yeah.Look at that.Pulled that out of my sheath. But you got to be equipped. You got to be carrying that, you know, it's not just about body armor. It's great. We have the shield of faith.
When those fiery darts come at us, that's that's how we're able to have faith in times like this when it's like, man,
This world is going to hell in a handbasket, and it's going to, it is going to, but when you have that shield of faith, you got the sword of the spirit, you're able to battle through this thing because the gates of hell will not prevail.Amen.
Amen with that. You want to get into the India sports, man, or you want to save that?
Well, I think it's just one shout out the L.A.Dodgers for winning the World Series.I'm a Mets fan. They beat the Mets in the National League Championship Series. So my Mets didn't get there. But the Dodgers, I love when good
Christians have the platform to share Jesus through the abilities that God's given them, through their talent. The pitcher that closed out the World Series, Blake Trinan, he actually He's not on social media, right?
And he had a phenomenal World Series for the Dodgers through the last pitch. You know, I always thought there was something special about the pitcher that throws the last pitch of a World Series. But this guy, his friends was Sean Foyt.
And last year, he actually had Sean Foyt post a letter that he had penned when the Dodgers wanted to celebrate Pride Night and they honored the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
And he penned a letter condemning the Dodgers and expressing his faith and his loyalty to Jesus. And Royce just posted it here.
Now, this was last year, but I love it because for a professional athlete to condemn the organization that's paying you, I mean, that's ballsy. It is.But that tells me who his Lord is, truly. So I'm always gonna root for a guy like that.
And then Freddie Freeman was MVP of the World Series, hit a home run in the first four games of the World Series. And going back to the last World Series he was in, he hit home run in the last two games of that World Series.
So for six straight games, he hit a home run.And this dude has always been about his faith. His three-year-old son got diagnosed with a, I think it's called Guillain-Barre syndrome. But I mean, he actually almost lost his life during the season.
Freddie Freeman had to take time away, and he always hung on to his faith. He said his faith is what brought him through. His son has been healed.I think he's still working his way through it.
But yeah, this three-year-old son of his was on his deathbed earlier in the year.So for just a good dude, a good Christian, Jesus-loving dude like Freddie Freeman to win the World Series MVP, got to shout him out.
Got to, even if you're, who'd they play, the Yankees?I didn't even watch.I didn't even know the World Series was happening.Yeah, let's talk about sports.Who do the Dodgers play?Who are the Yankees?I like real sports.I like real sports, homie.
Oh, okay. I love to play baseball.I'm trying to rally like a men's softball team here, and none of my friends will even want to play.
I watch real sports.Hold on, hold on.Let me stop you.I play real sports.I watch real sports.I'm trying to rally the fellas for a softball league.
I like to play it, dude, but if I need a nap, man, I'll put some baseball on any time. Anytime that that's true. And I understand that great respect for this sport. How about that? How about that? But yeah, well, maybe next week.
Well, CJ Stroud quarterback for the Texans.I like him because he's, he's a Christian. You see him praying on the sidelines at times, but he got sacked eight times by the New York jets defense.I, uh, it's, it's,
It's dismal being a Jets fan truth be told but I'm from New Jersey originally I'm a Jets fan and at least we had something to celebrate last night
Yeah, Aaron finally turning it around. It's good to see him and Devante connect again. They played a replay from when he connected back at the original Green Bay Packer days, praise the Lord, 2000 and what, 21, that was, but.
Right, which is your team, obviously.Yeah, of course, of course, man, America's team, America's team. You know, I wrote a paper in the sixth grade. We had to write like a paper that was,
what do they call it, like divisive, and the Cowboys were always called America's team. And so that was my paper, is why the Green Bay Packers were America's team versus the Dallas Cowboys.So.Fun fact.
Were you looking at your Vanilla Ice poster as you wrote that?
Bro, yes. Were you looking up?Yes, you know I had a plane in the background and had some motivation going, so.
Love it.Cool.Right on.Well, this is a kind of conclusion of... Our first episode here of the King's Council Live, we are gonna be back here every Friday with you guys, 11 o'clock Central Standard Time.
And we would, I mean, we're gonna talk about a lot.The King's Council as the core of it, it is really about discipling entrepreneurs.
So if you're an entrepreneur and you're looking for just community, even just like want to be amongst the Bible-believing Christians that are out there fighting the fight in business and in the marketplace, then certainly check us out.
Joinkingscouncil.com.We have Wednesday morning Bible study, but we're going to be live here every Friday, and we would love topics. This is just a lot of political, just considering the times, What do we got, four days left here?
We thought we would hit that hard here today, but we're gonna be going through a lot of just current events, culture, society, what's going on in the marketplace, the economy.
We're gonna be bringing all of that to you guys on Fridays here, 11 o'clock Central Standard Time.Got any last thoughts, Christian?
I just think it's appropriate, maybe if I pray out of this episode.
You know, we do that from time to time, pray out, but especially now, we all as Christians, I mean, us, a group of us within the King's Council, we're all fasting and praying in different days leading up to the election.
So yeah, let's end this in prayer. Heavenly Father, God, we thank you for who you are.You are sovereign and you reign, Lord God.But we petition you today. This is a nation that needs you, Lord God.
I ask that you fill afresh the body of believers, Lord, that you may equip us, that you may just light a fire within us, Lord God, that we may go out and not just
persuade folks who to vote for, but that we may actually have the words, have the resources necessary, Lord God, to awaken a slumbering church right now.Lord God. We love you, we thank you.God, I ask that the body of believers comes together.
We rally together like never before, unify.Know that all those on the other side, they are the mission field, Lord God.And God, may we win them over first to you.
And if that comes, I'm pretty confident that their political ideologies may change as well. But we commit this to you, Lord God, have your way.Lord, we're praying for victory for Donald Trump in four days from now.Help.
Save this nation, not through the political candidate, but really the saving of the mutilation of children, the killing of babies, Lord God.Have mercy on all those who are affected by these wicked, evil political platforms and ideologies.
We thank you, Lord.In Jesus' name we pray.Amen.
Amen, amen. That being said, no matter what happens, come Tuesday night, Wednesday morning, whenever we find out, Jesus won.So stay faithful, but faith is a verb, to quote Kamala, to quote the Bible.
Faith is a verb, so get to the polls, get your friends to the polls, get anybody and everybody to the polls and cast your vote. We'll see you guys all on next week's Kings Council Live. Peace.
