Hello and welcome to another episode of Mugga.I am joined by the best and brightest of Mugga, a trio that I don't think have come together for a while, actually.Let me go around and introduce them, all good brothers.
Introduce them in order of appearance.Disu, first this evening, how's it going, bro?Not too bad, not too bad, brother.Good to have you on, my guy. It's been a while. When's the last Mugga you came on?
Ah, yeah, not that long ago, actually. You just fall over, Fab?Huh?Did he just fall over, Fab? Why would, why A, would I fall over?B, why would me falling over cause my, it's just my laptop's on a, like a platform and it just slipped.
All right, cool. We'll make sure you haven't been in the oil this weekend, innit?
Cool.Well, you're lucky cause I was going to allow you on the shirt ting.I was going to allow you on the shirt ting and you did that.Don't worry fam.Don't worry my guy. Also joined by my cool brother Reeves. What you saying G?
I'm good, bro.I'm good. It's been a minute. It's been a minute. So the people them, the people them told me I need to cut the crap on the timeline and give us some analysis. So I came back.
Yeah, the people them are right, man.Good to have you on, brother.
Listen, a certain man with no hair on his head is walking around Amsterdam right now, unemployed. Can't complain.
And also joined by Elijah, who up until five minutes ago was unavailable for the pod.Good to have you on this week, bro.
As always, as always. You know what, I was actually checking, I can't remember the last time I've not been on a pod, so I just thought, you know what... Last week, last week. No, but we didn't happen, so that doesn't count.
He had to f**k me over, actually, for being the first.Cos I always rely on you to be around, and when I'm like, I'm not about, I'm like, oh, s**t, they might not let me on.
And I messaged Dwayne, and he was like, yeah, I can do it, I can do it, and then he messaged me, like, five minutes before, in a hospital with a picture I'm not going to. on the airwaves.I didn't even ask him this week.
I ain't got nothing to do with the brother off the back of the fuckery he sent me last week, man. Before we start, I've got to do the usual and flog the socials.
TLF underscore mugger, if you're somebody who loves the Twitter, a scandalous Twitter account run by some of the most scandalous guys on the with the team.
Obviously, the last few weeks, we've been recording the pod, so the videos come out on the YouTube if you're into that kind of thing.Subscribe to the YouTube.
If you're somebody who likes additional content, Patreon content, comes out weekly, subscribe, get a shout-out on the pod, maybe, if I can remember to do that. But yeah, let's get into it.It's been a busy last few weeks.
Let's start with yesterday's game, the 3-0 home win against Leicester.Going into it, it wasn't one that For once, I was particularly worried about just because we played them about a week and a half ago and the promoted teams aren't that good.
But I'm going to come across to you, Elijah. How are you feeling going into the game that we probably knew was going to be Ruud van Nistelrooy's last as Manchester United manager?
I didn't really care, to be fair.I just thought, let's just get into this international break with a win. didn't really care about the performance, because, you know, it's an interim performance.
I just wanted to see some good players play football, and I got to see a bit of that, so I'm glad.
Cool. When you say you got to see a bit of that, who are you referring to?
Ahmad Mazraoui, as good as Ugaritig has played in about a year or so.It's a low standard, but you know.
You see that Gifford, it's a white guy in the bed, like he's been woken up with like a torch.Ugaritig fans are coming around like, we told you.Is that what you fucking told us?
It's not much, but it's honest work. It's not much, but it's honest work. That's all I'm going to say, man.
Is it honest work?Is it, Elijah? Is it like Bambi when the ball was at his feet?
I mean, it was much better yesterday than it has been recently.
He did one pass with his left foot that was really good, and I was like, that is enough for the Ugarte in, boys. That one pass is enough.
Is it the one that Garnaccio dribbled off his own foot?
Yes.Yeah, that one. That one.Oh, no, no, no.Do you know what, yeah?
Do you know what, yeah?I refused to drink the Agaté Kool-Aid, yeah, but he did one move, yeah, in the second half where, like, he won the ball back. Then he, like, did a little chop.
He did a little chop behind him and, like, a little shake and dribbled forward with it.And I was like, oh, yeah, that was a little... He showed a little something there to escape that situation.I was like, that was cold.
I can't lie, with me, yeah, he's in such a deficit, it's going to take about 20 games for him to climb out of it.
Big man ting.Leicester City ain't going to cut it, I'm telling you. That performance is feeding me until the next tax year.See me in April, my guy.
As soon as the international break is over and then we play Ipswich and we see Kobe Maynard back in that squad. The real is gonna be, but we're gonna forget Ugarte even exists.
What about the game against Leicester door? What about the game against Leicester door?
They can have that game, that was a good performance. At least he hasn't left black.
4th of April 2025, that is feeding me.4th of April 2025.Wait, wait, so see the Ugarte thing, how much did the loan cost us?
Yeah. It's not a loan, bro.We bought him, bro.
Wait, wait, wait. This is going viral.
This is going viral.Wait, I thought it was another episode. Oh my God. This whole time you've always been a lawyer and you've been this angry.
I thought it was like the amrobat thing. No, no, no.60 million! That is so funny.Wait, wait, wait.I swore you didn't give them 60 million. What, is it an obligation? No!There's no loan, it's a permanent deal. Hey, I'm all for the meat, man.
I'm all for the dessert, bruv.Fucking shit, bruv.I'm all for the dessert.Big apple dessert!Yeah.Oh, my days. So, this who?Big apple.I'm getting two as well, cuz.
Okay, so he joined for 42 million, and I think there's other ones of 10 million as well.
So, big apple for 42 million. with add-ons of potentially another 10 million in add-ons, so it could end up as like 51, 52 million.
Okay, don't add-ons 8 billion realise, unless the add-ons are all Apple Watch rings.Unless it's like, if you complete your rings for a whole month, yeah, you'll get an extra 10 M's.That's the only way he's getting an extra 10 M's.
Brady, Brady, if you buckle under your shoulders and have a cup of Bundle, we'll pay PSG £5 million more.
All this time, wallahi, I thought, yeah, we gave them like five to 15 for the loonie, and then we have an option to buy.And I was thinking, of all the people to get, we brought in this brother. But the fact that we actually dropped
That's the funniest moment, probably, of the year, football-wise.Like, not the season, the calendar year 2024.How much was the loan?I was so confused, cos I was thinking, wait, what loan?Oh, yeah, he's... OK, cool, so that's him.
I'm not gonna lie. I'm kettled right now, cuz.I'm fucking kettled.
That took out his contract years. If I see anything... Nah, I think it's 2029.
What?Yeah, five years.Fuck!
Yeah, he ain't leaving anytime soon, bro.
Five-year for optiotics, hey!Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.I mean, 4K, hey!4K! 14!
Five years!Um, cool.So that's, that's... You gave him a five-year deal, cuz. There's some players I want to ask you guys about.Um, if you want, um... Let's start off about Diallo.
Obviously, a player that seemingly the fan base went from really liking to not liking, because he was, what, keeping Garnaccio out of the team, to now liking again.
Obviously, I'm quite well-versed in regards to how everybody on the pod actually feels about Ahmad. But actually, I'll come to you, Reem, because you're somebody who's been a fan of his since we signed him, what, three, four years ago now.
Do you think he's done enough now to potentially get a bit of a run, or is it back to square one, despite the progress he's made in the last week? And to be honest, I think he's been pretty good this season, to be fair.
Yeah. Obviously, production-wise, Guy Nacho has been our most productive winger this season.
But I think in terms of, like, level performance, in terms of individually and in terms of how the team operates with him on the field, I feel like Ahmad's been our best wide player this season.
I think the most egregious thing about how Ahmad's been dealt as well is he's the only real option to play on the right wing as well. We're playing Rashford on the right wing. We're playing Guy Nacho on the right wing.
That's clearly them playing out of position. You have a guy who playing on the right is a strong suit. And on top of that, he's our most creative player. He's our most technically secure player. He's our best finisher.Like, it seems like I'm not a coach.
None of us here are coaches.Like, so it doesn't really, we can't really explain what it is like.Obviously we get, I get with Garnaccio, like, if your team, like us, that struggles to create chances, we struggle to generate shots.
You have a guy like Garnaccio, he generates chances, he generates shots every game. You're going to be reluctant to leave a player like that on the bench.I get it.
But I don't get why you would then sacrifice another player, like Rashford, by playing them out of position. You might as well just play them hard in the strong position then. And then you have a good balance.
So it's a bit frustrating that he had to play his way into the team under Ten Hag, and then after a few quiet performances, he was out again, and then he had to play his way into the team against Roode.
But he keeps playing his way into the team for a reason. It's quite obvious. We're a better team with him in the team. He's one of our best players. So hopefully Amarone can see that immediately.
I feel like if we analyze how Amarone played at his last club, which we should learn by now from Ten Hag, that was probably a bit Um, I don't know what to use, but it's probably not smart to do that.
But Amarim has come out and said at the beginning, at least he's going to stick to the principles that he knows and then figure out the strengths and weaknesses of the squad he has available to him.
So we'd hope Amarim could come in and see the strengths of a player like Ahmad in the system immediately. We hope so.Hopefully he don't have to play his way into the team again over clearly inferior players. So yeah, um,
Over the past few weeks, I haven't really been on the pod.I'll be honest, I've strictly been a Manchester United under-18, Manchester United under-19, and Manchester United under-21 fan.I haven't been watching the first team at all.
I didn't watch any of 10 Hags last week.I think the last first team game I watched was the first half against Fenerbahce, which was... Elijah, when was that?
Yeah, yeah.I watched the first half of that.I didn't even see the goal we conceded in the second half.I couldn't tell you.So I watched... And since then, I haven't been really watching the games live.
I've been going back and re-watching them, so I re-watched. So I watched the Leicester game this morning. So, yeah, and I re-watched the Park game as well. So, yeah, I was impressed with Omar's performances in both games.I like that.
People have been saying shit.Like, I've been saying shit, like, even in the group chat, like, on the timeline of Mana saying, oh, Omar doesn't really do anything. He's just neat and tidy.Like, you know what I mean?
When you say someone said he only does one-twos, like, people have been saying he don't shoot enough, blah, blah, blah.So I like, in these last couple games, since he's been back in the team, he's been super aggressive, even, like,
Even shooting in times maybe when usually he should pass, like, it's good.Like, people said they want him to be more aggressive, but he's gone out and done that. And what, two goals and an assist. So, what more does the kid need to do to get a chance?
Right.Agreed.Agreed.I'm going to talk about a couple of stinky players.I'm going to start with Rasmus Hoyland.I'll start with you for this one, Justin, because, again, you're somebody you ain't been by.Well, tell a lie.
When you saw his comps pre-United, Yeah, I was thinking of this one as well.Yeah, I don't know what you said, Fernando Gagos. What have you thought this season?I feel like, I don't know if he's regressed or just, I don't know, man.
What did you think yesterday?
You know what's crazy?I don't think he's regressed, right? If I'm being fair to him, I want to be fair to him.Like, playing at Frankfurt United must suck. because he doesn't really get good service, right?
I know his movement isn't the greatest, but his movement isn't that bad.And I think his movement from crosses and cutbacks and from other people's shots is really good.
Because what we saw in the first like 10 games before he was scoring and stuff, he was almost always on the end of something. So he can react to that stuff. But when we're in transition, his movement isn't the greatest.
And that also might be because some of these men are craps, he's probably not expecting the ball.Sometimes when we launch the ball up to him, Even if he does hold it, there's nobody within a 30-yard radius of him.
So it's very difficult from that regard. But some of... I don't like his propensity to get involved in a wrestling match. And also, when he gets the ball, he can just kind of vanish from a game.
I really liked what we saw towards the back in the last season, when he got the ball and he faced up goal. The back-to-goal thing, no.He faced up goal, he used his athleticism and he could dribble a bit, to shift onto his right foot. He's weaker foot.
He did that three times. That's his weaker foot.So you clearly have enough talent to generate separation. You have enough talent to strike the ball accurately. So I want to see you do that more. This hustle and tussle ball, it's just not you.
It's a very difficult thing for strikers. Not many strikers are good at that.I don't know what it is about these United players.
You not only have to be physically strong, when a centre-back's nudging you out of position, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you have to be technically secure as well.
Because you're receiving it under duress.
Bro!Like, there's not many people, like, most centre-backs, even like Benzema, like, watch Benzema operate, like, between, like, he's always finding space, like, centre-backs, they can't get near him.Centre-backs should not be able to get near you.
Like, this guy is looking for them and going... Can I invite you to the dance?
Yeah, so it doesn't really make sense to me.So he's got to just try.I think what's mad is that with our strikers, I low-key feel like they need to play in a pair.I think he would benefit more from playing in a pair.
So yeah, his performance has pissed me off.I don't really like what he's put out there.I'm not going to lie to you.I'm kind of holding
I'm trying to hold players to a similar standard, which might be quite, which you can argue is unfair, because of the context of him, but... It's what these strikers keep doing, yeah?
Hoyle will stink it up here, then Xerxe will come off the bench and give us a 15-minute cameo, and we'll be like, yeah.
And he'll start, and then he'll stink it up.
Yeah, stink it up, then Hoyle will come off the bench and score a goal, and be like, yeah, fucking get Hoyle back in there now.Neither of them are serious right now.
Yeah, like, so it's... But then again, Couldn't it just be, like, trying to think outside the box and not just criticise Hoyland because I haven't been- I'm not gonna lie, I haven't been impressed.
His movement and the tussling thing is just too irritating.But... Bro, we saw this when Rashford was playing up front. We saw this when Martial was playing up front.Like, and these are two extremely talented footballers.
And this is even before Martial's body broke down and there were certain games where he just wasn't- wouldn't do anything. So, it has to be somewhat a design issue.Do you get what I'm saying?
I just don't understand why all of our players are so far apart.Like, when the ball goes to Hoyland, there's nobody near him.Literally nobody.Like, there's no... Like, Bruno's like playing in a tent.Bruno's not near him.
The wide players are holding width. And with Casemiro and Ugarte, they don't really... We've put them there... Well, we've put them there to kind of shore up the middle of the field, which has been kind of working. We're not safe as much in the middle.
But that also means that we don't get an extra body in and around my man, so... Yeah, it's a tough game.
And we lose a lot of ball progression as well.
Yes, we do.We do.So it'll be very interesting to see under Amarin what happens.I saw something today.I need to go get the source. But basically, Amarin is saying that we need players of high intensity, which I do agree.
I think we are a very low intensity team. And I also think we don't have the technical talent to compensate for our low intensity.Even though I think our technical base now is a lot better with Dilict and
In the back five is up there in my opinion.
And the front line is really low though.
Yeah, literally our best technical team would be Mainu, Ericsson, Bruno midfield, which might be the least athletic midfield in all sports.I'm including Break dancing, darts, golf, all sports.Might be the most least athletic trio.
And then it'll probably be Omad, Rashford and Xerxes. But then with Omad, Rashford and Xerxes, you have ball retention.
You know, we won that round three in one game.It looked good and we've never seen it again.
Yeah, that's true.Against Palace. But wait to see it again. So, yeah, man.Sorry, long answer, Mariah, but it's a bit rough for the kid.I ain't gonna lie, fam.
Do you have, do you, I mean, long answer, but you made some good points.Do you have faith that with the right system, he can be a good, potentially great player for us?
Great is a big step because Manchester United great is literally Tevez, Rooney, Van Persie, Zlatan Iheanovic, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Andy Cole. That's a high bar.And we've seen seasons from some of our young shooters in recent years. That's been great.
Which young shooters?Marshall, Rashford and... No, that's the third one I was... I know, I don't know if I left it last.
But I do think he can get goals, though. But for him to get goals, we're going to have to be a team that is, I think, quite dominant in terms of, like, possession and keep getting crosses in a box.Little through balls.
In transition, we make the right decision. We're very quick and aggressive and he makes good runs. I think he could be a 45% to 48% big chance converter.
He's a good finisher, to be honest, when he gets opportunities.
Yeah, it started off a bit shaky, but then he got into his groove. But the problem is, he just doesn't get chances.
And I think what's there to work out for me under Amarin, how much of that is him, and how much of that is United, and what's the ratio, right?Because I don't think... Martial never really got that many chances.
Marshall scored goals because he was just sick of football.
So eventually he was able to get into a position and he was just... Marshall's the only type of striker that could thrive in a United team because he's technical enough to create stuff for himself.
Yeah.Like, you know, I need to combine with anyone.Like, if you look at like big chance conversion, Marshall, for the majority of his career, was always like in the top three in terms of chance conversion, always outperforms his XG. Exactly, yeah.
He sacrificed his whole career for this club.I know, it's actually bad. It's actually bad.And he's gone outside, which is actually kind of sad.
But, yeah, we need to work out, is it Hoyler's movement and his decision-making and maybe, like, is that the reason why he's not getting chances or is it Man United?I tend to stray to the side of Man United.
You're not on Amarim. who's like strikers on like, we've seen like the last striker I had in Joker as like, he's a really transition-based type of striker, like hits the channels and stuff like that and athletic again behind.
And he has like, he has like two like creative players playing behind him as well as Wipf with the wingbacks. You would hope that holding would look good in the system like that.
If he can't look good in the system like that, then that's when like, that's when like alarm bells should be ringing.Like, you know what I mean? For the moment, he's a young striker at the same time. He's 21 years old, like.
There's not many 2003-born strikers starting for top clubs around Europe.Like, so you can give him a benefit of that for now, but, like, if the team improves and he doesn't, then... Then it's a big win.
Alarm bells, yeah. Agreed.Agreed.Cool.Thank you both.I'm going to come across to third guy in the front three.Visited some schools last week.Marcus Rashford, Elijah. What do we do with the brother?
Yeah, man.He made those two chances, my guy.He made those two chances.Yeah, man. That was a bad performance and it was disappointing because Garnaccio should not have been able to come back from that Chelsea performance, quite frankly.
But Rashford opened that door again.I don't know who told him that he needs to start playing like Di Maria in it.Bro, he's never doing it.
He's actually never doing it.Because he could cross, it's like he went from never ever crossing to now, I'm Stuart Downing.
Bro, no, it's not even just the crossing, it's the cross for the passes as well.
Bro, bro, just put, it's just like, he's being such a nothing player right now and that's the one thing that he absolutely isn't and that's the one thing that as much as Rashford has been inconsistent over the years, I've never
I've never watched him and thought you're doing so little in a game. And then when Garnettra came on, it's gotten to a point now where it's not a coincidence that whenever Garnettra's on the pitch, our play is focused on the left.
Because it's like, he demands the ball and Rashford is actually a big man. He's basically one of our best players. And he's not the man on the ball and he's not making things happen. And that's just so poor.He was so bad.
There's no chance and there's no way in hell any of the other captains in this team should be more dangerous than Marcus Rashford.Exactly.Garnaccio is way more dangerous than Rashford and he's a worse player. So it's annoying.
You would hope the danger that Garnaccio was creating would be falling to a player with the talent of Marcus Rashford, but it's not. Shit, sorry, guys.Yeah, flipping on.
What I'm saying is you'd hope a player with the talent of Marcus Rashford was getting into the dangerous areas that Garnaccio was getting in, but he's not.Garnaccio's getting in those areas, and that's why he's playing.
Yeah, Marcus just needs to... Bro, like, we're out of excuses for him.You know what I mean?Yeah. That's why fans are just sad.
Back in, like, there used to be the most of excuses you could make for him, but now we've used all those up, so... Worst guys are getting their game off in the same team.
Yeah. No, I'm not going to lie.Saturday's performance, yeah. was one of them performances where you could... Sunday, sorry. It's one of the performances where he could have left with a two-sided.Do you get what I'm saying?
He could have really lifted that. And, bro, what I knew from that one dribble when he ran off the pitch, I knew what it was.
Yeah, you put that in the chat and said... Because I've seen... I know you've watched our players so much, you could just... That is a clear sign that it's just not rational.
You know it's one of those games. It's like, oh, there's a couple of games last season, yeah.Like, me, yeah. You guys know how big of a man Kazashif and I am, yeah, but, like...
I'm at the stage where I said he's out of excuses, but there's games, I feel like, for the most part, I feel like this season he's been pretty good.Even when he's been playing on the right, I feel like he's been getting the ball between the lines.
He's been combining well.He hasn't been scoring, but I feel like, for the most part, he's been well.
I feel he was good against Chelsea as well.Hmm?He was good against Chelsea.
Yeah, yeah. But there was a couple of games last season. The game against Man City, I know he scored a banger in that game.
Oh, he went and got a natural that game, yeah.
His overall performance was so bad.And that game and the commentary game in the semi-final of the FA Cup.Like, those two performances, I was like, yeah, this might be it.And then he came back in pre-season and looked warm.
And I was like, yeah, we're back again.Like, you know what I mean?So I don't know.Like, right now, like, you can't be 27 years old and still be an inconsistent player, man. It's enough now.
Yeah. What's wrong with that? The inconsistency doesn't make sense, right? It's not like you've played enough ball, he's 27, and he's an old 27 because he bust through at 18.18 years old, and under 18 as well.
It's not like he broke through in his under 18 season. You know what I'm saying? So you've been a stepper since, yeah?
You're one of the biggest players in the club, so it's not like there's other men that are ahead of you and they're pecking all the boom, boom, boom.Like, just play good. And what annoys me is like,
it's lax technically, mis-timing stuff, bad touches, and also you're not aggressive.
And Garnach, and he's got to a point where the fanbase, and now there's significant enough numbers, if not the majority of the fanbase, will prefer Garnach over you simply because he's just aggressive.
And by sheer volume of him being aggressive, he would eventually... He wasn't good when he came on yesterday. He was shocking.Like, we were talking before we started recording, Ogata did some good play, sick pass to the left.
Gonatou is sprinting into the box.I'm thinking, OK, cool.I said, he's probably not going to try to find a cutback. He's going to get a left foot shot off.
He tried to cut back inside to get his right foot and he ended up knocking it off his own foot and going off the pitch. And that's the type of stuff Garnaccio was doing. But by the sheer volume of trying, he scored an absolute beauty of a goal.
But how many shots have we seen Garnaccio get off this year?I think he's got off more shots than Hoyland and Rashford combined by a distance. And by a big distance.
And listen, do you know, people will say stuff like, oh, we need to be getting Rashford or we need to be getting Hoyland the chances Garnaccio. But do they think these Garnaccio chances are growing on trees, bro? That's a point, fam.
Bro, this guy is getting these chances because he's hustling and bustling. He doesn't ever stop. You know what I mean?If Garnadjo could strike the ball, like, fucking Ahmad could strike the ball, bro.
We would be in biz-miz.And on the same picture, we saw Ahmad.Ahmad is half the height of Rashford. Amar's got a good first-first, but he's not like a long-distance sprinter.
He ain't got that physical ability of Rashford, but Amar's getting the ball on the halfway line, and he's facing... And he's getting into the penalty box with it, bro.Yes, great.Straight into the box.
In both games, like, I think he should have got a penalty against Pauk. But, like, he is getting to the box, he's creating separation, he's getting the cutbacks in, he's getting his own shots in, he's causing the defenders to make an issue.
Like, why can't Rashford cut it out of shoot five times a game?
I hate to say this because, just like you just said, I hate to, like, try and imagine what's going through a player's head, but it's like, he's not engaged, man.
No, and I think that's a fair point because I'm not sure if you were in a chat when Ant was speaking or was it on a pod where, you know Ant's a big fan of Rashford, he's like, he was watching Rashford closely obviously because he was on a hate watch for Cole Palmer so he wanted United to win and he's like he just couldn't believe how little Rashford works like in both phases like I'm talking about defending and attacking
And it's true. And I think, literally, Gonatcho's the brother, yeah, that gets up at 5 a.m.and hits the block straight away, yeah?Rashford's the brother that gets up at 4 p.m., bro, yeah?
Does some shisha, plays a bit of FIFA, and is like, OK, cool, let me go, let me go try and make some peas.Like, bro, you've got to, do you know what I mean? It's too annoying.
And if we can get Rashford and Ahmad active at the same time, I think we will be good off the strength of those two. Like, literally, the ratchet we saw a couple years ago, and on my track now, our attack will be good.Just off them two alone.
It doesn't matter who's with them.Xerxes, Hoyland, you can even put Casemiro up front. It doesn't matter.Them two alone will get shit going. It's just frustrating.
Aged, what's my question? We've been talking about this ratchet thing since last season. What is people's faith that he's actually going to turn it around, genuinely?
My thing is, I don't, I don't, I don't have faith, but I don't, I'm kind of in, I'm kind of on the fence and I think Amaran coming in, I think he's going to be the acid test, right? So I must get some Amaran, I don't know much about him.
I've been listening to like Reams and other people talk about him.It sounds exciting, but I think the difference is this is a new board. you've got the football guys in, so the brother, Omar, what's his name again?Omar.
Yeah, and then we obviously we've got Wilcox and all them man there. So this is a whole different, like bro, we got rid of ETH.We didn't even expect it.And Ameren was basically in a cut within hours. So it's a new day.
So I think with this team, I think they're going to start being a bit more ruthless with players.Do you get what I'm saying? So I never thought I'd see the day when McTominay got sold.I'mma be real.I thought McTominay was a lifer.
but when Tomlade goes out of the paint, Maguire's going to get out of the paint.Do you get what I'm saying? So if Rashford doesn't buckle his ideas up, on 350 buff a week, he's going to get out of the paint.
So if that's not going to motivate him, nothing will.We need that pure prof, bro, straight out of Carrington.Sorry to say it, man.Simple as, bro.Cool.Let's just have a quick, raise a quick glass for Ruud van Nistelrooyd, Turtleneck era.I loved it.
Lived it, loved it. Live, love, laugh. It was emotional.
That guy was moving too beggy-beggy for that job though.
I didn't like seeing my goat beg to put out cones.I wasn't going to laugh at that. It's sad still, I can't even laugh.
He restored the feeling still. No, you know what the problem was?Oli got his shot. The shot that should have been his shot, Oli got that. You ain't tricking us again. You ain't tricking us again, fam.Yeah, that's fundamental shit.
We gave it one.We gave it one effort. We gave it one effort. All he gave was his best goal. All he gave was his best goal, that's not the matter of shit.
I'm just happy that he caught Don Martin quickly. He let the two, he let Crash Bandicoot and Sateef and Tats get their nonsense off.I was disappointed and rude that he even had to see that.
I was disappointed in him.I was disappointed in him.Because he was a bowler, so he should know.
I think some of this stuff is politics, I ain't gonna hold you.It definitely is.That's the only thing that makes sense to me, because there's no, like, we watch the game- Two academy boys, isn't it?
Two academy boys versus the kid from Africa, isn't it?
Yeah. And for what Seb was telling us in the chat when he went up to you, obviously he was at the park game, he said the amount of people that have Garnaccio as their screensaver, bare Garnaccio shirts, like he's a big fan's fave.
So I was even quite shocked that Garnaccio was kind of rattled after the game, because obviously he got some criticism from the fans, he didn't really feel like celebrating, and all the players obviously showed support.
Here's the thing that people need to understand about Garnaccio, yeah.Throughout his life, everything's gone pretty smoothly for him.
Grew up in Madrid, made it into Atletico Madrid's academy, was one of the best under-16 talents in Spain, signed to United as an under-17, broke into their first team almost immediately.
When he broke into his first team, he usurped guys they signed millions and millions for, going to Argentina's first team.Big deals, new contracts, sponsorships, fans, everything. This is the first time in his whole life that he's hit some adversity.
Adversity?Guys are not built for it, bro.No, but it's not, but no, it's not, it's not like, listen, like, you can't say guys ain't built for it after their first time. You have to see how they respond to it first.
Oh, he was sulking on the pitch, but you know what?I'm going to be cool.I'm just going to be like, you know what? The problem with Garnaccio as well is that he's chronically online, bro.
Yeah, and all of these new age players are going to be like that.
Chronically online. You could say adversity, but he came on and he smacked it to the bins.
yeah exactly yeah so so it's cool but he is so you know you know he's got a good mentality i don't doubt his mentality he was soaking fair enough he's upset like my mom's come up to his face and said i didn't watch the video because i find that shit cringe but no no no you guys know how i feel about that show you guys know how i feel about that show that video infuriated me like who do you think and because these are players right
they're not going to react to you how you deserve. They're not going to do you how you deserve to be done.Do you get what I'm saying? And then you're going to post it and people are going to laugh at you.
Like, I can't wait for one person to crash out and slap one of these youths fam.Slap one.Because how can you go tell them, make sure you put, who are you to talk to?Like you could give your analysis, but Like, there's a certain level of tact, right?
Like, for example, if you're walking down the street, you might see someone go, rah, their trainers are dead, in your head.Or you might be going, ah, rah, that jacket's horrible.
But you'll never go up to somebody and say, a complete stranger, and say, your jacket's horrible.Because there's certain societal rules of tact and decency.Do you get what I'm saying?
So, like, I'm not even saying, don't be, I'm a staunch critic of Garnaccio. But if I see Garnaccio, I'm not going to go to him.Make sure you pass him, it's not trying to bad him up.Like, what type of nonsense is that?
It's nonsense. He knows. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he
I don't even know if there's even a constructive way to say they could pass the ball.Do you get what I'm saying?Because it was going to come off as a shot. But yeah, man, that shit was nasty. So I'm actually kind of happy that he scored.
And seeing him at full time, I actually felt bad.I ain't going to lie.
I actually felt bad.I feel sorry for Garnett to rap because the team is so bad.The things he's good at are so important in this team. he's become like undroppable. He's become undroppable. And you know what?He doesn't really get injured.
Like he's going to run as hard in the 90th minute as he does in the first minute. He's got a massive engine. So I get why he's always in the team, but a player, he's right now, we've gone natural. We could be honest, right?
He's not that good, but there is, he's not that good right now, but he has a useful skillset and you hope with some development, he could turn into a good player. You know what I mean? There's a pathway for him to become a good player.
Right now, he's not there yet, but he's still an impactful player at a young age.So he really should be a guy that comes off the bench for a team like this. You know what I mean? And in that role, he's usually fine.
Like we've seen it again on the weekend. So this team needs to do something in squad building terms in order to put our players in the best positions for them to keep growing as players. You know what I mean? And we haven't really done that so far.
So let's hope. The one thing I will say with Amirim coming in, right? And you know me, I'm not really a fan of like wing back coaches, but like he uses his wing backs in such an interesting way.And like, they really embrace wing play.
So it's not like your traditional, like most wing back coaches do it for defensive reasons, but Amirim is more for attacking reasons. So that's a sign. And I feel like that could really do some of the players in our squad some good.
Like someone like Anthony, who isn't really good in the final third, but like, He's retained the ball well. He's got energy. He can get up and down the flank. He can combine well. But you don't have to rely on him to be someone in the final third.
You can rely on Amad for something like that or Bruno or someone like that. You know what I mean?So let's hope this new coach can get the best out of the squad in ways that the other coaches didn't, which is why they go fucking sick.
And I also think with Garnaccio as well, a problem is that he was too overrated by a lot of the fan base.
So then obviously... Put nothing left, brother!
Yeah, no, but that's fine. But what happens is when you overrate a player and then their performances don't back up, they're going to get crit... They're going to get the criticism.
And I feel like from the beginning, I saw Garnacher in the youth team.I thought this is a good talent. He's good, isn't he?But he came through and people were hyping and, yeah, this is the next best thing.I'm like, no, no, no.
Bro, when I saw Garnacher in the academy, I didn't rate him that high. I only started rating him after that FA Youth Cup run, because I've watched the FA Youth Cup run year after year after year, and what he was doing in the FA Youth Cup was mad.
And then when he broke into the first team, his first game, remember, what team was it in the Europa League?I can't remember.
Was it Sheriff? It was a way out.It was a second game of Sheriff, of Sheriff.
He started in, that was his first start, right? And I was like, oh, I wonder how he's going to look in pro football. And he was, drops in man up, step overs, dropping shoulders.
And I was like, if this is the play he's going to be in pro football, like we might have something here. You know what I mean?So as he's continuing to develop and people start to figure him out, we've seen the red flags, you know what I mean?
He did earn his way, he did earn his way into the first team.I'm not going to say he didn't earn his way into the first team.
He did, because literally, not only is why he's there, because three people, like from Rashford to Sancho who cost 77m to Anthony who cost 87m, because of their performances, that's why we have Garnaccio.
He actually, do you know how good you have to do, relative, and how bad they have to be to usurp one of the club's best players, and two, like, huge money signings. So I respect him for that.
And the reason why he's thrusting his position is because if Rashford was doing his job, this is not a conversation.Straight.Simple.
Man, what a perfect storm of shit we're in, man. Lovely stuff.Cool.Should I say it?Casemiro Mini Remontada, talk to me.I ain't going to hold you.
I ain't going to hold you.You guys know how I feel about bro.You guys know how I feel about Ericsson, yeah? But I ain't going to lie.Them two brothers have been hooping.Them two brothers have been hooping. It makes no sense.
The unction has been serious this season, I can't lie.The unction!I know, I know.Jonny Evans, Casemiro, Ericsson. The unction has been... The unctions have been our best players this season.
Bro, I'm telling you fam.Nah, nah, nah.First of all, Casemiro is probably the best Final 3 player I've ever seen. Bro, Bhad is elite in the air, yeah?Yeah.Bro, Bhad's the best distance shooter and he's got the most creative passing.
He has the best movement in the air as well.
His passing is mad.His movement in the air is incredible.Unbelievable.He gets on the end of everything.I don't get it.
Yeah. He's a magnet, man. It does not make sense, bro. It's like you're watching flipping Miroslav Klosar. It doesn't even make any sense, right?
No, I actually might hate him, yeah, because why the hell are you playing like flipping Zico, yeah, in the final third, but in the midfield, you're playing like Burger Boy?But in recent weeks, he's kind of cut it out.
And I think also with Roode, what I've noticed with Roode is that we're not as susceptible to people just running in straight lines for the middle of the pitch. which is kind of crazy. It took Ruth like this story to kind of sort that out.
Yeah, we're not drinking 25 shots a game anymore.Yeah.
Bruh. And because Kasimira has less spaces to cover, defensively, he hasn't been as bad at all.And on the ball, it's amazing what happens when you don't just hook the ball out of sheer panic. And maybe that's a product of our shape isn't as cataclysmic
So you're thinking, oh, I've been, the last two times I've taken, I've got a touch on a ball, I've been dispossessed.I think I could just get this pass if I took it to Garnaccio. And half the time it is the best pass we've seen in the game.
And the other half it's, you just give him the ball back to position. So he's actually been playing like just good quality midfield play.I'm not going to lie.I'm actually, it started with a City game. Was it a City game?
Yeah, he bought in the Community Shield. He was hooping.Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's actually been doing this thing. And Ericsson as well, bro.Like, Ericsson, for one move, the reverse pass, I was like, God damn!
The pass he played in the build-up to the Garnaccio goal that took, like, five players out of the game, I was like... Yeah, that's the pass I'm talking about.I was talking about the reverse pass I'm talking about.Like...
Eriksen this season might be playing better than he did, than he played in 2022.You know what I mean?If he played in 2022-23 when he's playing good in Casemiro, he might be playing better now than he was then.
Even like, I'm even seeing him winning more.
Because he was winning more.He was doing everything, like. Was it 2022-23, he had some good games, but he was also, like, getting the assists as well. And he was quite aggressive in his passing.
But now he's, then it got to a point where he was just kind of just doing hoofball.I ain't gonna lie, he was just doing hoofball. Now he's playing two-touch and it's sick.Pat, pat.Out of feet. But then the switches are coming at the right time.
So now we've got a distance.
And he can switch off both feet as well, so like.Yeah, because he's a tech man.
But now he's now playing, he's now playing like how you would expect a 10-for-10. who's now got older, who's playing deeper. This is what I expected. Not the Danny Drinkwater impression that he's putting up in 2023.
Nah, they tried to lie to me.They tried to lie to me that season.I was on to them. They tried it.I told them.
I was like, he's not even been good on the ball.I knew he would be a cone, yeah, but I was like, I was expecting some technical play in the midfield for me, bro.
I was saying, this is not centre midfielding at all. This, fine.I can really allow this.Cool.But that other shit, nah, nah, nah.But yeah, man.
Still, we need players, yeah, because I was watching Liverpool versus Villa, yeah?Brother, that Villa midfield, yeah, with Jacob Ramsey or Lada, yeah?Morgan Rodgers, they have... The powerhouses.G-wagons, Escalade.
We got a man on a zoomer frame, trying to play off all intangibles.
We said, we've got a pacemaker, we're up there somewhere and we're guests. We're like, yeah.Fab, so yeah.
Well, Amarama said we need some players with some intensity, so let's see.
Let's see who we get. That might be bad news for guys like number 10.That might be bad news for guys like number 10.
Yeah, no, it's especially bad news for someone like Xerxe.
Yeah, but Xerxe's in trouble. He's in trouble still.
Back to Italy you go, man.No, no, no, bro.I thought you meant the slings.I thought you meant the slings.
He tricked me.He tricked me.I don't know why he thought surfboard ball would work. Bro, this guy.
Take that shit back to Germany, bruv.
Nah, that ain't working out.
Bro, the worst thing about him yet is that he doesn't even look good technically anymore.
He just looks so clumsy and just slow and just like...
But you know, his little cameo against Leicester, Leicester was good, like, because he was getting, he was fighting, he was getting into space, popping it off first time, then he was like peeling off, then he was turning, he was finding the space again, turning on it, spraying it.
In the first, in the first few weeks, I said, I said, he just needs, it's like, he needs to simplify his play.He just needs to completely simplify it.Like, the things he's trying, it's too complicated.
Like, you don't have the time and space to do that in this league. And to simplify this play, his technical ability would just naturally come to the forefront because he is a technical player.
It feels like he's got heavier. It's like he's thought, do you know what?Yeah, I ain't gonna survive here, so fuck it, I got it.We ball.Let's just eat, fam.All on top.Let me just eat, fam.Like, he's put on 5kg since he's been here.
Is he taking a piss, bro? He's been a boomer and sexy fish.
Yeah, fuck it.I ain't gonna score.I ain't gonna score again.Lebo grill.That's what he's doing every single game.
That man come on the pitch when the fan started turning and Xerxe scores were on the pitch.Bro, when?I don't remember when he turned it up.
When I saw that, I was like, they're actually taking the pitch, you know. They have fully given up on Xerxe, by the way.All the United fans have fully given up.
Xerxe scores were on the pitch. It was hilarious, bruv.
They were chanting that in the stadium, you know.Look how crazy that is.That's insane.
Poor guy, man. It's been three months. How did that happen to you?How do you feel?Better level fucking grill, mate.Let's get in. The last thing I'm going to do is play, get shouted at and not have a level grill.Like, come on.
Manchese looks like the type of breadart that gets two fizzy drinks, you know?
One, the Coca-Cola at the start, just sort of like a... Or you might get a fizzy drink, then after the fizzy drink you might get like a milkshake or something like that.Yeah, that's what he's on.
That's horrible, you.That's definitely a milkshake.We are calling this guy a horrible guy.Biscuits is a milkshake.
Hypotheticals, by the way.
We're calling him a horrible guy.
Bro, he's dipping the biscuit into the milkshake.I know he's Kelly Star from McDonald's, bro.
He's in McDonald's, Kelly Star, I'm telling you, bro.I'm going to style the donut with the milkshake.Dip it in, because that's what he's doing, man.
He is cooked, bro.Back to Turin, man.Get the hell out of town.
The funny thing about United fans, one goal and they will be back in.One goal.It takes one.Because, bro, after he scored against Fulham, Rasmus Hoyland was done. He was finished in this town, right.
I'm telling you, after he's gone against Hoyland, against Fulham, we was never seeing Hoyland again.
And now, he's back to your betters.Fifteen Lebos later, fam. What is this XLG?XLG is absolutely ridiculous. That's absolutely insane. The funny thing is, yeah, I work by Hatton Garden, there's a Lebo grill there.
Bro, bro, I go to that one all the time, yeah.Look, but I'm going to come in and say, let me get a Xerxes. What, with a milkshake, yeah?
With a fucking milkshake, bro, give me the Xerxes.
Xerxes, but free Doner kebabs.
A 7-up and a milkshake is crazy, man, I'm telling you right now, bro.
First couple of times he had it, he got bubblegum, but now he's calm.
Oh, man.Reef on Amarim.Amarim, how are you guys feeling?I know nothing about the guy.Obviously, he comes with a rich reputation.Saw him turn a 2-0 halftime deficit against Braga into a 3-2 win.
And it seems like they've already got a Gio Keres regen there already. So, next Danish shoot, bagging goals. What are your expectations?Elijah Ream.Yeah, that's it.What a name, man. That's a sick name.
What's the expectations of him coming in with this group?
Well, my expectations of him, obviously, is to save my life.So anything shorter than that, and I'm on him.No, but seriously, I don't know.Yeah, Elijah, you go.I don't really know. But obviously, I'm so tired.I don't have no predictions.
What's interesting and what I'm really excited to see, right, because I've heard a lot about his formation, and looking at our players, there's obvious conflicts there, right?
So Garnaccio is not a player that you would have in the tighter spaces whatsoever.I don't see how that suits his game.
Running behind type of player.
Yeah, he's a running behind type of player. But another issue is, that seems perfect for Ahmad.Rashford, lockdown Rashford, I would be like, yeah. This Rashford, I don't know. Then there's the Bruno conundrum.
Do you really want Bruno in your front three? But then again,
If you don't want Bruno in front three, in a midfield two, if you have Bruno there, then that leaves an issue where your central area doesn't have enough midfielding and enough, like, dynamism and work rate and defensive capabilities.
So it's just very interesting to see if he's going to play that system.
I think the obvious options is, like, Bruno on the left of that three and Ahmad on the right, I think. Other than, I think, other than Mason Mount, he's probably the most obvious player to play on the list.
Oh my god.I forgot about him.Yeah.Mason Mount.
Yeah, Mason Mount on the left of that three might make sense.
Mason Mount, because remember, under Tuchel as well. That's where he hooped. So maybe there.
Either the hooping.Either the hooping.
No, no, no, no, no, no.You seen that Champions League run?No, that season, I was hating so bad because I wanted to fell so much, but he went crazy. He went crazy that season, I can't even lie.
But I think... I know he's got that on DVD at his house, man.
Let's send that to everyone. Chuck that in, man. These guys don't work like me.Niggas is in Lebo Grill right now.Send them a young Lebo Grill. You want a milkshake or not, boss?I'm calm on the milkshake, so that's disgusting, man.
I'm a water guy.I'm a water guy, man.I don't know about no chili.Just keep it light, bro.Something light, you get me?
If you've got aloe vera water, I might try that.
So, you guys are saying that we have a chance, yeah?
Like, for me, all I want to see is some good football. That's what I've been asking for for about 11 years now. We're all going to settle for that.
Listen, if we finish fourth, finish third, fifth, cool.If we play good football, I can deal with that. But, Amiran, I'm talking to you, yeah?I'm not sure if it's a Wednesday or Tuesday.December the 4th at the Emirates.I need something.
I need something, bro.I don't need a W. That's got to be the nail in the proverbial coffin, man.I need Dan Croogs crying.Bro.I need that.Bro?
I need that. That drug?Bro.I'll be high for three Olympic cycles, bro. I'm eating a young Lebo grill, bro.
Me and Dex, he's going to be in there celebrating. If we win, I'm getting three of our subscribers a Lebo grill, bro.If we beat them,
Bro, this is a Muga Disodomics link-up guarantee. If we beat them niggas, yeah?Nah.Literally Lebo Grill.
Lebo Grill's for everybody, bro.And it has to be Lebo Grill at the Lebo Grill.
And it has to be the right order.
And a drink, bro.No buzz balls.Buzz balls, bro?Buzz is for everyone, bro.Do you know when somebody takes it too far, man?
You can stick your buzz balls there. No fucking buzz balls.Do you know that when my man and I have to go dust up and somebody brings out a burner?Like, why are you taking it far, cuz?
Not that serious. It's not that serious. We're just having our five minutes and then we want to go home and see our families tonight. That would be impossible to do.
We're running knuckle-dusters.Come on, man.Yeah, we'll see, lads. We'll see.Let's do the weekly awards. So I'll start with the first one, which is the Get Big Sam In As Defensive Coach If He Ain't Managing Award.
This award goes to a manager from a week who's either done a positive job or a negative job. Across the spectrum, Elijah, I'll start with you.
Them coaches that Amarin is bringing in who are like 29 years old, they're the same age as me.That's crazy, bro. Get them in, because they seem to be doing something right. And also, not to seem racist... Yeah, in fact, I'm going to skip it.
You're going to do another buzz ball. You're just taking it too far this week, man.I was going to take it too far, but yeah.
Reams, get Big Sam in this defensive coach if he ain't managing. What manager are you shouting out for positive, negative performance this week?
I want to shout out Marco Silva, who is restoring the feeling over in Putney Bridge.Yeah, I like that team.I'm a big fan of that team. It's got good balance, like all the signings they've made over the summer have been balling out.
There seems to be good vibes, camaraderie amongst the team. You know, like, you know, some kids that were touted for big things at a young age, they're starting to like, figure things out now. It's like some good stories there.Yeah.
Raul Jimenez is the best striker in the world again.Things are good.Like, it's nice.Yeah.
It means more.Yeah.He was, he was one who, before he came to England, he was like, They had him up for big things, man. He's still not even 50 yet.So he looks like he's getting back into the swing of things, man.Shout him out.Top coach.Agreed.
Get Big Sam in this offensive coach if he ain't managing.
I'm going to have to go to Ruud van Nistelrooy simply for just playing a mod.Because the United fans have known.
And this is one of the few times where the fan bases have been on the same side, because we saw from pre-season, when he started coming to the team towards the end of last year, the FA Cup goal gave him a lot of XP, and then a Newcastle performance, and then some other performances afterwards.
And even rival fans were like, Roar, why haven't they been playing on mods? And then obviously he started the season, started the season pretty well, had like two quiet games, he went out of the team.
And United fans have kept saying, bring him to the team. And I'm just so happy that Rood actually played him and he rewarded Rood and the fans with the performance.
It was funny, like when I was searching the starting lineup, I waited until like 1pm to search the starting lineup, on mods as a graphic. There's a reason why, because the fan base loves Ahmad, right?
And it's just, I'm just happy that he gave him the platform to perform, and now Amarin, it's not like he's coming in blind, pause, just in case.
Like, you've seen, like, obviously Amarin's watching, you've seen what he's, you've seen what he's been through.Yeah, yeah, yeah, Ahmad did it.
We're not doing this.We're not doing this.What?
Anyway, my defensive coach, if he ain't managing, Kieran McKenna, last few weeks they have been competitive in games and I'd probably even say they were unlucky not to pick up three points before this week, but got a win against Spurs and it means more because last week the Spurs lads, Tobe, Sy, were trying to get cheeky.
I said, I'll be back next week.I didn't even know who they were playing.I said, I'll be back next week. I came back!So Kieran McKenna, shout out him.Next one is... It's not double denim! For the moment that had you rattled this week, award.
I'll go with you, Elijah.
Most rattled... I don't know, you know.I'll probably say that Garnatural touch, but I think that was probably everyone's, like... Yeah, man.
Like, I've just... Sometimes the way he plays football is just... It's so interesting to me that he's made it this far.Yeah, man.
Disu, what's your... It's not double-denim award winner this week. What moment had you the most rattled?
When Rashford just ran the ball and then he just ran it off the pitch. And it wasn't even like... There's running the ball off the pitch when you just run out of a bit of room or you just take a slightly bad touch. But his one went like...
like a 90-degree angle just off the pitch.Like, how do you do that?
Those people like me, me.You definitely need a milkshake and Sprite from Lebo, man. That's a milkshake and Sprite performance.Reams, it's not double denim.Rattled award. What moment rattled you this week?
I think United fans have been told for so long that all our success is down to corruption that
we don't even really look at, like, bad refereeing decisions against us as, like, a big deal anymore, like, because that Ahmad penalty against Pout, like, why are you niggas as mad as I am about that?
Like, I don't, like, that was a stonewall penalty, and VAR literally looked at it, like, that happens, this shit happens to us so much, and we just laugh about it, like, if it was flipping certain other fan bases, Keir Starmer would have to fucking come answer.
Didn't the refs come out and say that the deletes penalty was a wrong decision? Yeah, yeah.
Yeah. But this is what I try to explain. We don't even care.We actually don't even care. This is what I try to everyone. It happens to all clubs. It swings around about. If you're a good team, you're less likely to get bad decisions against you.
If you're a bad team, you're more likely to get bad decisions.
That's just the way it kind of works because at the end of the day, if you're a bad team, you're more likely to have the ball in and around your box and more stuff's going to happen and vice versa.
So when people... I feel like the reason why United fans act like it's not a big deal is because if we try to complain about it, people say, oh, you fucking United fans are complaining about refereeing decisions. It's a flooring, bro.
Yeah, like, for me, that's not even the reason. But at the end of the day, I've known for a long time, for the past 10 years, refereeing has been getting worse and worse. And I'm just like, at the end of the day, it's bad for everyone.
But people try to make out like it's specific to their own club.
It's ridiculous.Stop being a loser, man. It's ridiculous.Cool.The moment that I probably was rattled was Garnaccio's goal. So, we went in as a goal and I was like, Rashford is fucking washed, man. That was the immediate next emotion.
This is the worst thing for Rashford.
If Garnaccio didn't score that goal, we would have been like, oh my God, both these guys stink. But Garnaccio left him.You know what I mean?
I was like... I tried to at least have the decency to leave with something, you know what I mean?Right, right.Look at this tweet I literally just seen.Ahmad isn't holding Rashford, yet he wins aerial duels.Interested.It's actually true.
Because even for the first goal, yeah, remember... The header. It was like a big clearance, yeah. And the ball was bouncing.Yeah, and the blonde bread, I can't remember his name.
And then when I saw Ahmad running, I was like, I just knew Ahmad was going to win this.Because Ahmad, he just goes for everything. He gets there first, wins the header, runs down the line, throw-on.Instant quick throw-on, Bruno, one, two, boom, goal.
The reason why Ahmad does that and Rashford doesn't, because Ahmad understands timing. He understands the trajectory of a fucking football. And Rashford, despite all his physical gifts, does not.And he hasn't for a long time now.
Yeah, but the thing with that is that if that was Rashford, Rashford wouldn't have chased that down.He would have been like, okay, cool, he's going to defend now and I'm just going to leave him.
Sanchez used to do that as well, and that used to really annoy me.Like, by Ahmad's sheer hustle, it led to a goal, because that wasn't meant to be a goalscoring opportunity.
They had a set piece, somebody hooked it up the line, and it was meant to be a situation where it goes back to the last man, the last man probably knocks it to the keeper, and they keep possession.
But Ahmad turned it into a potential counter-attack that ended up being a goal. off sheer dark work. He's scored a midweek second goal.He confiscated, he literally pickpocketed the guy, banged it top bins.
Against Liverpool in the FA Cup, I'm pretty sure at least two of the goals come from him.Yeah, it came from Amadou.Yeah, it came from Amadou and the ball back. So,
That level of effort that we just don't get from Rashford is not going to cut it when your play itself isn't.If Rashford is like bowling, you're going to let certain things slide. You get what I'm saying?
But you're not playing at a level, you're not technically consistent enough to also be playing like you're not bothered. It's just not on.
That just makes you a fly on liability on the pitch.Facts, bro.I think even someone tweeted about it on the weekend about Ahmad being a press machine. He's just a good footballer.
Yeah, Elijah tweeted about... Everyone was talking about Mount dropping out of the team when the press go into shit, but like... Yes, yes.Ahmad and Mount was both leading that press at the start of the season.
Facts.Facts, man.Next one is the No Agenda Agenda of the Week award.Reams, what agenda are you bringing this week?
you um what gender would you let someone else go first because this is the first time i've done this i'll go i'll go lasandra martinez needs to start like bringing back that ball-playing ability we saw from the first season.
I think he's taking a bit too long on the ball.Maybe I need to re-watch games to see if it's because people aren't showing for it.But I just feel like he's just too slow on the ball sometimes and it's annoying.
And it's kind of reminding what Romero does at Spurs. It's like, they're slow on the ball. And Trent, to a certain extent, where they're looking for something better. So they're being a bit more greedy, like, oh, can I find a better pass?
Sometimes it'll keep the ball moving. So yeah, Lissandro. Cool.
Elijah, what's your No Agenda agenda of the week award?
Dallo needs to stop playing like he's trying to get ETH sucked. He's got double. He's gone now! He's gone now. But, like, also, I do feel so for him.He has played a lot of football.True, true.
He has played a lot of football, and he continues to play, and he starts basically every single game, and he's not been helped by the fact that Shaw and Lashley have decided to take 18 months off.So, yeah, but, yeah, he's not been
good this season, and it's annoying because this is just giving more ammunition to them fans that are saying, you see, I told you, this guy's shit, shit.I mean, he's somewhere in between like... The disputes of this world.
Yeah, but like for me, I'm never going to say he's top tier just because I cannot trust him to deliver week in, week out, season on season, but he is a good player. But right now, he
I'm not even going to blame him for him getting done up on the weekend because my man was doing it.Anyone who came his way was getting done.He is so cold man.I don't know why he wasn't even playing that Brighton as well.I have no idea. He's so good.
like, Di Bello really needs to get his shit together, because I can't, like, we've got Mazna, which I'm so glad we do.
So I just hope that... All four of them are fit. It's a good set of full-backs, I think.Solid set of full-backs.
It is.I just can't wait for Shaw to be sold, though.
What he's done... He's been in Amarim six months.
You know Luke Shaw, bro. What this guy has done this calendar year has been absolutely disgusting.I can't believe you went Euros. He went Euros for one game, and that one game set him back literally four or five months.Going insane, that is.
I can't believe this shit.Cool.My no agenda agenda of the week. It's not even really an agenda.Just shout out my guy Gary O'Neill, man.Guy's been talking crazy on his name.He ain't won no game.
But the thing is, when you watch Wolves, they're in every single game. They compete in every single game.So before the weekend, I said, just get this done.I don't want to hear shit. What do you do?You got this done. Watch out, Gary O'Neal, he's coming.
Peace.Reams, now your No Agenda Agenda of the Week award.
My No Agenda Agenda for the week is to Gabriel Jesus for one of the most nothing cameos I've ever seen like that.
When I saw him coming on, I said, these lot are cooked.
Yeah, and because he came on for Saka, as soon as he came on for Saka, I was like, congratulations.I was like, I was surrounded by Chelsea fans, I was like, congratulations guys, you're back in this now.
That's Arsenal's chance to go out the window now.
I watched a comp that one of the, it was like an Enzo cameo comp.I was like, okay, cool.Let me see, let me see this cameo comp. And it was just basically Enzo passing sideways or dispossessing Gabriel Jesus.
How have you let Enzo Fernandez stroll on this pitch and rough people up?I couldn't believe it.
Bro, there's one time he literally won the ball back off him, gave it to a Chelsea player, they lost it, gave it to Gabriel Jesus and he took it back off him again. He was so happy to see him, bro.
You know those comps, yeah, which are like 90 seconds long and they repeat some clips, but like at the start, but then at the end they repeat again.Daniel Vickie tackled Jesus like four times. You need to watch those comps, bro.
And last one is underrated player of the week award. I'll start.I will give this one to... I don't even think he's underrated at this point, but I just want to shout him out on the podcast. He should be a summer signing.Liam De Lattre.
That's a young British striker, man. That's what we're talking about.McKenna, go down. But leave the lap, brother.Elijah, who's your underrated player of the week award?I know I have talent, you know?
Underrated player of the week... I'm gonna be the sicko you all know me as and say Ugarte.
It was good.It was a good performance. It was.If that's the best we're gonna get from him, that's the, like... It'll do, innit?Like, you know what I mean? No, but like... Like, I told... If we could consistently get that, I'll take it.
Like, you know what I mean?I'm not asking for much.
I told everyone, yeah, why the hell are we paying this fee for it?It made no sense to me.But I was like, you know what, this is my boy.He could come.I'll be personally responsible for this, you know.
That's five, that's five.
There was a last 25 actions comp going round. That comp, there was two comps, his last 25 duels and his last 25 actions under pressure and those comps kettled me.Oh my god.
From what I remember from him, he wasn't my type of player, until I watched those and I was like, Hell no.Then I watched the guy that Fulham signed from Burnley. What's his name again?Burgess Underburger. And I was like, OK, cool.
He's not looking crazy, but he can play.I was quite surprised that he could play. Then I saw he went to Fulham.I was like, OK, yeah. Yeah, we were linked, right?
And then we're like, oh, they're just using Fulham to make us up our price.Fulham Signs, man!
That's what Maddow's telling me about Too Cool.Oh, yeah, Too Cool's using England just to negotiate.England have announced that they've had a domestic... I didn't see that, man!
He might be the absolute dumbest, man. Cool.
Reebs, who's your underrated player of the week?I'm going to go with Johan Wisse.Yeah.I don't know if anyone's noticed that Brentford sold their star striker in the summer and have not missed a beat.
So a big reason for that is that there's a guy by the name of Johan Wisse who's sitting on seven goals and one assist in eight games this season. So another two goals and a big win this weekend. So I think shout out to Johan Wisse, him and Mbuemo.
They've been two-steppy this season still.
Yeah, agreed. And, no, just use your underrated player of the week.
Uri Tillemans. He's been the best midfielder I've watched in the season.Every game I watch him, he's just cold. He's getting to a ball sharp.
He's been sick this season.
The passing of both feet is cold.I wanted him.
Do you not remember when I wanted him?Yeah, yeah, yeah.Remember when Ericsson was pissing me off and he was on a free transfer from Leicester and I was like, we should take a punt on this.
Yeah, I remember I was like, yeah, it's free. It's free, but like the damage that Seb did to that guy's reputation.
I remember in the group chat, I was like you man, but just look at this here. This is like Ericsson's off the ball defensive numbers here. And they were all like in the reds. This is like on football ref.And Taylor was all in the green. So I was like,
He's shown that he could, this is all in the Premier League in the last year.So I was like, yo, five, six million in January, like we need a midfielder.Like, would you take a punt on this? And everyone was like, nah.
He's running in slow motion in a video that's recorded from a television off his phone.
Like, the thing is, yeah, with him, I've had the most up-and-down relationship I've had with a player, because I think it was like Anderlecht, I really liked him.He went to Monaco, stunk it up, I thought he stole the league title.
Yeah, he stunk it up at Monaco.
Then, then they went to Leicester, he played well when he initially went there. Then I watch more and more of him, I'm thinking sometimes he's just not in the game, he's just moving like, and then it's just like up and down.
Then there was one season for Leicester where he showed out, I was like Fez, like crazy. Then he went down again.
Then I think that was the season where he went to Villa, I think it was last season, where he was moving all right, and now he's showing out again. So like, He's the thing. He's an up and down player, man. Some guys are like that, man.
He is such, he is so technically gifted, but that's what pisses me off about him.
He's one of the best players I have ever seen, and this is ever, in terms of distance shooting, in terms of the consistency of the strike. Like, he doesn't, it's not a mishit. And there's a variety of them.
He can curl it, he can lace it, he can outside the boot it, he can hit on the half body, he can hit on the full body.If the balls come to the edge of the box, you're getting a good, getting a high level strike.Like, he's cold.
He's a cold girl. From like 16, when we started playing, you see bad comps of him just striking it.
That's what he was doing in Anderlecht.Just striking it.
Letting it go all the time.Yeah, letting it go.Letting it go.I like that one.Let's finish up with some listeners questions really quickly.ZS London, shout him out.Free questions, obviously.
First one, ideal realistic summer signing for the new 3-4-3 system.Rather than you guys mentioning bare players, I want each person to give me one player.Reem, I'll start with you, a sign up for the 3-4-3.
A realistic one or one that I just want?
Realistic.Alphonso Davies.Cool.Elijah, sign up for the 3-4-3.I would say Eze. Cool.Dissu, signing for the 343.He literally took what I was going to say, Eze.You can say Eze, that's fine. That's all good.Next one.
Biggest benefactor and biggest loser from the Amerim appointment.Do you have enough to say?I think one of them.Xerxe, biggest loser.Yeah, massive, massive loser.XLG, bro.
Amaru is going to take one look at that empty milkshake cup.
And it's not even like a thin one like this. It's not even like a thin one like a fridge outside.
It's a nourishment, man.I think two of the big winners are going to be Ugate and Ahmad.Just because of the positions that he plays.
Can I stop right there?Do you guys... So, all right, all right, so when Komi Menuh comes back, are we assuming he's going to be starting, right?
I do, but I don't think it will. Are we sure?I don't think Menuh's going to come back in immediately. That's the thing.I feel like it might be a thing where we need to wait for either Ugarte or Casemiro to drop a stinker, then Menuh comes back in. Hmm.
I don't know about all that, brother.I don't know about all that.
I don't know about all that.Beto is a different level to these youths.I ain't going to lie.I don't know about all that.
Yeah, that's intriguing, though.
Yeah, I mean... If he's running in freekool, what the hell is Kasimir running in?
That guy was running in stone, my guy.He wasn't running in stone.
Bro, flip it.Cool.And the last one.I would like to know if Agaté is still gaining yards. No, no, no.Agaté's a correspondent.
Bro, look.Ugochi's legs are so short, he looks like he's moving mad quick, like Scrappy-Doo.
He looks like he's running.Look, look, from that pass he played to Garnaccio, he turned to a quarterback now, so you don't... You play both positions, my guy.
He's a dual front quarterback, man.He can run and he can throw it.Yeah, Lamar Jackson did, of course. How dare you?How dare you?How dare you?
Next one is from Trill, what are they shouting about?Rashford is scaring me.If Rashford doesn't pick it up by the end of the season, is his time done here?If so, how much are we looking to sell him for?
I mean, yeah, we agree that he's scary.I do feel like he's on a short leash because of the money and the lack of production in back-to-back years.Sell him for, I don't know, because he's got big wages, so I don't know. Just say the number, man.
Is this how far we've done Phil?
Ugarte went for 50 million.
Ugarte! It's the worst season I've ever seen a midfielder have.
No, no, no.When you're talking about transfers, you can't include United transfers because all of them are dumb.
Fair enough, fair enough.
The worst season a midfielder's ever had.
I know if Russia is on the market, a team in Italy has a plan for us.
€10 million, you're alone, two years, and you get €40 million in pieces at the end of the two years. That's the event.Mbappé had the season from hell, yeah?
He's like their eighth best CM. get sold for a 50 piece. They use that 50 piece to buy that pint-sized Portuguese better, who apparently has been bullied out of control.
But we facilitated that.We paid that so they let us get Lenny Euro.Allow us to get Euro, bro.
We haven't even seen Lenny yet.We got Lenny Euro and Kobe Mane coming back after the Filipino international break.
Diggs, I'll look it up.You know what, yeah?
Your Romaino and Ahmad coming to the team is a big difference, because that's a third of the outfield players, effectively, that age.Yeah.If we had one serious left winger...
This would be a football team.Just about, just about. It wouldn't be an amazing one, but it would be a football team.
Next one, a couple of questions from Aiden.First one, Casemiro said Unk still got it.When Manu's back, would you rather he starts with Manu, you go all Casemiro? No, no.I should have never given you lot this mad yoghurt.
No, it has to be an unk ball off because Melo low-key plays like a young unk.Do you get what I'm saying?
What's that?What's that picture?It doesn't matter who's in charge.It's a small boy, no road.It's a small boy, no road.Follow on.
Let's have a picture, yeah?Let's have a picture of this little Asian kid at the shop, yeah? And go, this is the youngest possible.
He was like five.He was like five.He had the hoodie and the jacket. And the jacket.
That needs to be Jace Fitzgerald. That needs to be Jace Fitzgerald.Maynard, small boy, no road. Fitzgerald's youngest boss, man.
That's why you see Xerxe, you're spright and a milkshake.
I'm seeing hella under-18s getting minutes around Europe.I can name ten off the top of my head.Let me get some Jace Fitzgerald more.
Yeah, they've got him coming to training, so hopefully he's next one up.Next, second question from Aidan. Now Roode has left undefeated, what we saying about that picture?
Don't fucking kill me.Hell no.Hell no.
I don't even know what you lot are talking about.
I have no idea what you're talking about either.Hell no.I laughed for 30 seconds.I don't even know what you lot are talking about. If I ever fuck him, I'm going to move out of this place. You think you're a man?You think you're a fucking man?
The worst thing is yeah, the worst thing is I can tell he painted his whole body black.
The full-body, full-body bath works.Bath bombs that are black, man.
I know his kids helped him as well.I know his kids helped.I know the family project, man.I know, bruv.
Just stop throwing it, man.It is what it is, man. It's just a culture. It's just a culture.
I ain't got 150 goals in 205 games as a coach, am I?
He won us a chip on Arsenal Super Team's head during our transition period.
We forgive him.As fans, are we hypocrites to ask for transparency from officials and then criticise David Koop for sharing his unfiltered thoughts?
As fans, our job is just to be fans, bub.Like, nothing we say really matters. That's our only responsibility as fans, is to support the Flipping Football Club.
So listen, if we can say whatever the hell we want, like David Koo is a Premier League official. He can't be saying shit like that.Is that the Liverpool one?
What we say does not matter.
He's a Premier League official.
No, no, no, no.We want referees to tell the truth about their decisions. We don't want referees to have personal vendettas against football clubs.
Because then, if you're saying stuff like that, it now brings the game to disrepute because now we can't... Now there's enough room for people to have doubts over your objectivity over a game, and there's too much at stake.
Especially even with things like betting, you can't have that cloud over a referee.Do you get what I'm saying? If you ask a referee about a decision, Like, do you know when we have them on TNT Sports or Sky Sports, we expect them to tell the truth.
I tell us what the referee should have done. This doesn't mean, say, that you think that clop is a C word.Do you get what I'm saying?Even if you generally think clop is a C word, you shouldn't voice that.
And also, I think the person who recorded it is a waste man.I reckon the referee has to be drunk. There's no way he did that of a sober mind. No, no, no.
That's the result of too many buzz balls. His career is probably done.I don't see how he bounces back from that. He's finally wanted to chair some banks. It's just corny.
No, no, no, but the thing is that it's clear that that video is actually a few years old because he's talking about a Burnley game that happened like a few years ago.So that's an old video.
It doesn't matter though, whether it is three years old or last week, it's the fact that you have on camera spoken about a football manager of a Premier League club that way.So now it brings all your dealings, regard that club, onto the streets.
And then also for the referees in general.Every referee, any other referees that have those personal biases, is it impacting the decisions they're making?
Yeah, I was about to say, literally, I was about to say, now people can look at all referees and say, are all of them like that? And then, for example, Arsenal fans who feel very slighted.
And some of the decisions that have gone against Arsenal fans are actually wild. in terms of people forgetting to draw lines.
Lucky you wasn't talking about Arsenal, boy. We're lucky you wasn't talking about Arsenal in that video.
Oh, but if you were talking about Arsenal, yeah, we would not be recording this pod right now. They would be in here recording a live Patreon outside the court of justice. No, no, no, no, no.There will be no pod.
Remember the race riots in August, yeah?Yeah.
These men will be on roads, yeah, tearing stuff up.You remember that video the Americans used to share of just banding them in suits? No, we're not sure where the girl is.Named by Dan Coogs and German Dance.
Where's the nearest Lebo Grill? No, no.
Imagine you're at Lebo Grill, you know, you use that, she's a couple demanding there, and you see 50 Arsenal fans in suits outside looking for a referee.First of all, why would a referee be at Lebo Grill?
No, but the thing is, yeah, I know these Arsenal fans would have found the BGMOL's headquarters and they will be protesting outside, right?
They'll burn the building down. They will burn that building down, fam.
We're lucky. This is actually enough. This is enough for them to start their vendetta. But if he explicitly said something about us on that recording, yeah, whole country's getting locked off.Whole country's getting locked off.
London's getting shut down. We're lucky, lads. And second question he asked was, what do you think should be priority profiles in the transfer market now that Amerim is coming in?
We need athleticism. We actually desperately need that.
Anybody that can run.You know what's bad, yeah? You guys know my bias about players.Exactly, that's what I was about to say.I've been looking at Anana from Villa. And I was like, brother, we could have used him, bro. That guy's a flipping tank.
He's a tank.People, the guys, the people watching consistently all said it though.
It was like the no-brainer move and obviously... I can't lie, I started to watch it because I remember Reigns was, because we were all quite quick on it, and I think Reigns and Jeff said that he could do more than you think.
And I started to watch him.And his dribbling is a bit meh, but I could see the passes.I've seen him slap the ball through lines. He can do that. And he's just an all-round monster, innit? So, yeah, we need some players with some dog, man.
Agreed.Agreed.There's so many good questions left, but we've gone way over the time.I said we would. So, guys, a real pleasure.A real first-class MuggerPod.Always good to have you gentlemen on.See you at Level Grill, man.Peace.Peace.Love.
I shoot my shot, I hit my goals I let man act like they don't know Check my record and learn that code 1-8-7 that's Andrew Code Murder a beat, I'm cold Curling cup with broad, that's **** I did it like Andrew Cole, let's do my thing
