For example, when Peter was locked up in jail, and Herod was planning to kill him after Easter, in Acts chapter 12, through great deliverance, the life of Peter was preserved.I want us to lift up our voice.
We are going to crown to God and say, Lord, in the journey of this week, let there be a great deliverance for me.Oh my God. Let there be a great deliverance for every member of my family.In the mighty name of Jesus, open your mouth, open your mouth.

Unsolicited blessing.We come our way.In the name of Jesus.Very quickly I want us to open our Bible to talking about what makes God to act last week.And I want to continue from where we stopped.Psalm 119.We are going to read from verse 121 to 128.
Psalm 119 from verse 121 to 128.The Bible says, I have done righteousness.Do not leave me to my oppressors.I want to pray for somebody this evening.That God will deliver you from every oppressors.In the name of Jesus.
Oppressor will not rule over your life in the journey of this new week.In the name of Jesus.The Bible said be shorty for your servants for good. My eyes fail from seeking your salvation and your righteous word.
Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your status.I am your servant.Give me understanding that I may know your testimonies.And look at verse 126.It is time for you to act, O Lord, for they have regarded your law as void.
Therefore, I love your commandments more than gold.Yes, than fine gold.Therefore, all your precept concerning all things I consider to be right.I hate every false way.Tonight, I want to share with us on what makes God to act part two.
What make God to act part And for those who missed last week prayer meeting, I gave us three points.Number one, I told us that God can act, number one, when we wait on Him in the place of prayer.That is, our prayer can move the hand of God.
Our prayer can move the hands of God.Just like the prayer of the church move the hand of God to preserve Peter from being destroyed. by Herod in Acts chapter 12.
Jacob, or James rather, was killed because nobody prayed for him when he was put in jail by Herod.But thank God, the church woke up.They said, we don't want to lose Peter.They said, we will lose James.And they rose up in prayer.
And as they prayed, God sent an angel to rescue Peter.I want to pray this evening.
that if there's any members of our family lock up in any spiritual prison as we pray tonight may the lord release them in the name of jesus oh my god i say as many who have been locked up in spiritual jail tonight you are coming out in the name of jesus number two i told us last week that we can also make god to heart on our behalf through working in obedience obedience
can move God into action.In John chapter 2 verse 5, the mother of Jesus told the disciples, or the servant rather, said, whatever he tells you, do it.
And when Jesus gave them the instruction to fill the water pot with water to the brim, they obeyed that instruction.
And when they fetched from the water, inside the water pot, and served to the master of the feast, the master of the feast confirmed that the water was made wine.
And I pray tonight that if there are waters in our hand, God will turn our water to wine.Divine instruction, obedience to divine instruction can make God to act.Then number three, I told us faith, our faith in God can make God to act.
And then number four, I told us our love for God. There are general blessings that God will do for people that he loves, but there are special blessings reserved to those who love God in return.
And tonight we are going to continue from where we stopped.What makes God to act?I want us to read that Psalm 119 verse 126 again.Psalm 119 verse 126, the Bible says, it is time for you to act.I want every one of us to read it after me.
It is time for you to act.Oh Lord, for they have regarded your law as void. If you look at the situation of things in our nation right now, many of us, we agree with me that it is time for God to act.
Now, I know some of us may not really be feeling concerned, but there are some people in our community that, you know, they feel concerned because of the current situation of things in our nation.
And not only in our nation, even in other nations of the world.Some people are feeling concerned. And that's why we need God to act.We need God to act.
If there's any time we need to move the hand of God through our faith, through our love for Him, through our prayer, through our waiting on Him, this is the right time. The Bible says it is time for you to act, O Lord.Why?
Because they have regarded your law as void.Now, if you look at what is happening now, people have regard for what is evil than for what is good.You know, people prefer darkness to light.
In this, our current contemporary, in our contemporary time, people love darkness above light.People love evil above what is good.Yeah, even on the time of our Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ was a miracle worker.
When people were to select or choose between Jesus and Barabbas, The people said, release Baraba and crucify Jesus.Baraba was an insurrectionist.Baraba was a thief, was a criminal.But Jesus, the miracle worker, was neglected.
Jesus, the miracle worker, the people decided to choose Baraba above him. So that is what is going on right now.But I pray that God will act.Tonight, let me give us maybe two or three more points on what can make God to act.
Number one, our giving can make God to act.Our giving, our giving.The book of Genesis chapter 22, when God instructed Abraham to give Isaac his son.I want us to understand that during that time Abraham already had Ishmael through the housemaid.
And then Isaac.Isaac was the promised child that Abraham and his wife waited for almost 25 years to get from God.And then God told him one day, I want you to go and sacrifice your only child, Isaac. because he is the only one that God recognized.
He said, go and sacrifice him on the mountain, I will show you.And when Abraham was going, Abraham did not tell his wife, because sometimes when God give us instruction, we might keep it to ourself.
There are some things that God will ask us to do that if we begin to share with people around us, they may affect our faith, they may put doubt in our mind.But as long as we know that God has spoken, Let's obey.
The Bible says Abraham left very early in the morning to obey that instruction.
And when God saw the way Abraham acted Look at look at Genesis Genesis 22 from verse 15 The Bible says then the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven and said by myself I have sworn Says the Lord because you have done this thing.
What did Abraham do?Abraham already gave up Isaac.He was about to cut off his neck and sacrifice him I pray in the journey of this May God help us to possess the gates of our enemies through our giving.Look at that.Look at verse 18.Verse 18.
In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed because you have obeyed my voice.So Abraham obeyed the voice of God through his giving.I know we live in a contemporary time when giving is a controversial issue now.
But our giving, as we see here, can move God into action.Look at the blessings, look at the promises that God made to Abraham.Why?Because Abraham gave.Abraham gave.I want us to know that God takes note of our giving.Now let me tell you this.
One of the ways we can resemble God is through our giving.The God that we serve is a giving God. He's a giving God.John 3, 16, for God so loved the world that he gave.Look at that.When Jesus was here on earth, he was always giving.
He gave food to the hungry.He was always giving until when he gave his life.So how do we resemble God if we are not giving?So our giving can move God.Now, if you are a giver and you see other giver, it moves you.
Because a giver can easily recognize another giver.And that's how God gets moved when he sees people who give.In Mark chapter 12. Mark chapter 12, that was a time Jesus saw the rich people coming to drop their offering, you know, at the treasury.
Mark chapter 12, from verse 41 to 43, the Bible said there was a poor widow that came to drop her offering.And when Jesus saw that, he was moved by the giving of that poor widow.Look at Mark 12, 41, 41 to 43.
The Bible says, now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury.Now, I want us to notice that Jesus still watches over our offering.This is not a matter of what one doctor or one apostle is talking about.
This is the word of God.Jesus still watches over our giving. He watches over our giving.The Bible says Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how people put money in the treasury.This was in the temple.And many who were rich put in much.
Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrants, and so he called his disciples to himself, and said to them, Assuredly I say to you, that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury.
For they all put in out of their abundance.But this widow, out of her poverty, put in all that she had.Her whole livelihood, that is all her savings. Jesus was moved by that he acted now.
I want us to take note of what Jesus did there Do you know that Jesus Christ did not even tell the widow woman what you have done was great You gave more you are the one that gave the highest Jesus He was only talking to his disciple even the widow woman did not know She didn't know maybe that could have you know
at least encourage her to give more.She didn't know.I want us to know that sometimes when we give, God knows about our giving, even though we may not get encouragement.Are you getting it?We may not, but God knows.
Jesus did not tell that woman, oh, you did a great job.Jesus turned to his disciples.He was telling his disciples that this widow woman, what she has done is great. She gave out of her poverty, and Jesus was moved.
Jesus acted because of the giving of that woman.I want to pray for somebody this evening.Because of your giving in the journey of this week, may God act on your behalf.In the name of Jesus!The number two!Our worship can make God to act.Our worship
Our worship.Now worship is one of the things that God demands from us.And guess what?The devil also wants people to worship him. The devil craves worship.In the book of Matthew chapter 4, we see how the devil came to Jesus.
He told him, he said, if you can fall down and worship me, I will give you the whole heart and the glory of it.The glory of it, I will give everything to you.The devil craves worship.And God also wants our worship. God want our worship.
Our worship can move God.Our worship can make God to act.When we worship God, when we praise God, it can make God to act.We see the example in Acts chapter 16.It's a popular verse of scripture that we all read all the time.
When Paul and Silas were locked up in jail. The Bible says at midnight, at 1625, now at midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing praises unto God.Now, this was the midnight when they were supposed to be complaining.
This was the midnight when they were supposed to be, you know, murmuring and complaining, but they chose to praise God.I pray for somebody this evening. that may God help you to praise Him more in the journey of this week.
In the name of Jesus, Paul and Silas chose to praise God.The Bible says, And the prisoners were listening to them, verse 26, and suddenly
Suddenly, suddenly, there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed.Now, there are at least three miracles that happened there.
The first miracle was that, number one, the Bible said the foundation of the prison was what?Shaking.God shook the foundation because God acted.I pray for somebody tonight.Ha!
As you worship God, maybe for a couple of minutes before you go to bed tonight, and if God gives us grace, maybe on the prayer line tonight, we are going to worship God.We're going to sing some praises unto God.
The Bible says the foundation of the prison shook because God was moved. The worship song, the praises that Paul and Silas were rendering to God moved God to action.God came down and when God stepped down, the foundation of the prison was shaken.
I want to pray tonight.Every evil foundation shall be shaken in the name of Jesus, the name of Jesus.The Bible says everyone's chains were loosed. Now listen to this.It was only Paul and Silas that were praising God.
But when God wanted to act, God did not only act on behalf of Paul and Silas.He acted on behalf of Paul and people that were around them.Now listen to me.When we praise God,
God will not only act on our behalf but he will also act on behalf of people around us because they are in close proximity to us.God will be moved to do something in their lives.That is powerful.God will be moved to what?To do something for them.
You may be praising God as a parent. And unknowingly to you, your praise to God is moving God to act on behalf of your children.
You may be praising God, and unknowingly to you, your praise to God may be moving the hand of God to deliver your business, to deliver your friends, to deliver your family members.That was what happened here.
The Bible says everyone's chains, even the criminals, they were legal criminals who were in the prison.God loosed their chains. That is a miracle.God loosed their chain.They were supposed to be in the prison.They committed the offense.
Paul did not commit any offense.Silas did not commit any offense.But because Silas and Paul were praising God, they moved God.I pray tonight as we praise God.May God be moved into action in the name of Jesus. The Bible says all doors were opened.
All doors.I pray and I prophesy that as we praise God in the journey of this week, all our closed doors shall be opened in the name of Jesus.We are not talking about one door.All doors. All doors.That is God acting.
When God is acting, God will not be limited.God will not say, okay, this is iron gates.I will not open iron gates.I will only open wooden gates.All doors.Whether iron gates, whether gate of brass, whether gate of bronze.All gates.All doors.
When opened, I pray tonight. that may all our closed doors be opened as we praise God.In the name of Jesus, our praise can move God into action.Do you know sometimes when you are confused?Maybe you are giving bad reports.
You are giving bad medical reports.You are confused.You don't know what to do.You don't even know whether to cry or to weep.You don't know whether to laugh or to smile. At that point, just switch on praise.Let's switch on praise.
Because praise can move God into action.In Psalm 11 verse 3, the Bible says, let God be blessed who inhabits the praise of Israel.God inhabits the praise of Israel. Psalm 11 verse 3, the Bible says God inhabits the praise of his people.
I pray tonight that God will dwell in the midst of our praise.God only dwells in the midst of praise, not in the midst of complaining and murmuring.Our complaining, our murmuring will move God away from us.
In fact, our complaining will attract the devil. Our complaining and mumbling, we only make the devil to act.We don't want the devil to act.Because anytime the devil show up, he mess things up.But if we want God to act, let's praise him.
Let's worship him.Let's give him the worship and the praise he deserves.Number three, before we start to pray.Another thing that makes God to act, is when we please him.
When God notices that somebody pleases him, God will act on behalf of that person. when we please God.God, we act.I pray tonight, may God act on our behalf.Ha!I said may God act on our behalf.
In the name of Jesus, when we choose to please God, God will act on our behalf.Look at John chapter eight, verse 29.John chapter eight, verse 29.Look at what Jesus said.Jesus said, he who sent me,
is with me look at that now if somebody is always with you that person can always act on your behalf you don't need to you don't need to go to the mountain to go and to go and call the attention of that person because he's already with you he that sent me is with me i want you to listen to what jesus said here he that sent me is with me the father has never left me alone
I pray for somebody tonight.May God never leave you alone again in the name of Jesus.And that's why we have to guard the presence of God in our lives.Whatever we can do to guard it so that nothing will make God to leave us.
Let us guard God's presence in our lives. The Father has never left me alone.Why?Because I do always those things that please Him.I do always those things that please Him.And look at verse 30.
And as He spoke these words, I want you to follow what Jesus did.As He spoke these words, many believers
Many believed God begin to act on on behalf of Jesus many believed many believed in him Because God is always with him when God is always with us.He will act on our behalf He will act on our behalf Look at for example in chapter 12.
Let me show us very quickly and then we start to pray Chapter 12 when the angel that God sent was with was with Peter look at verse Then the angel said to him, guard yourself and tie on your sandals.And so he did.
And he said to him, put on your garment and follow me.So he went out and followed him and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.Look at that.
When God is acting on our behalf, sometimes it will be like a dream. It will be like a dream.You will look at yourself again and say, let me paint myself.Let me, to make sure this is not a dream.Let me paint myself.
Peter was like, maybe I was dreaming.Because Peter was already locked up, expecting, you know, to be executed, you know, after the Passover or after the Easter.
And the Bible says, and when they had passed through the first and second guard post, they came to the iron gates that lead to the city. which opened to them of its own accord.Now, that angel represents God's presence with Peter.
That angel was sent by God.And as long as the angel was working with Peter, the Bible says, the iron gate that leads to the city opened on its own accord.Look at that.He that sent me is with me.
The Father has not left me alone, for I do always those things that please Him.The more we please God, the more God will act on our behalf.That is, things that God will begin to do are things that we don't have power to do by ourselves.
God will begin to do it on our behalf. what makes God to act.
John mark's mother look at the next thing and verse 11 and when peter had caught himself he said now i know for certain that the lord the lord has sent his angel and has delivered me from the hands of erod and from all the expectations of the jewish people so when he had considered this
He came to the house of Mary, the mother of John, whose son's name was Mark, where many were gathered together praying.I pray for somebody tonight that as you call upon God, may all your miracles locate you in the journey of this week.
Peter went to the house where they were praying for him. They draw in by prayer.Do you know, our prayer can draw good things to us.And look at the next thing that happened, verse 13.
And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a girl named Rhoda came to answer.And when she recognized Peter's voice, because of her gladness, she did not open the gate. But ran in and announced that Peter stood before the gate.
Now what I'm saying is this.When Angel was with Peter, the gate opened.Is that correct?The gate opened on its own accord.After the Angel left, Peter had to knock before the door would be opened.
What I'm saying is this, when God is with us, he will begin to do for us things that we don't have the power to do.I want us to go and pray.I pray for somebody tonight.Before you knock, may God open all your doors in the journey of this week.
In the mighty name of Jesus, I want us to lift up our voice.We are going to cry unto God and say, Lord, in the journey of this week, I am depending on you. Come and act on my behalf.Come and act on behalf of my children.
Come and act on behalf of my family.In the name of Jesus.Open your mouth.Open your mouth.Open your mouth.What makes God to act?God wants to act. heart.Oh my God.God want to heart.I want us to lift up our voice and crown him.
I say Lord in the journey of this week.Come on out on my behalf.In the mighty name of Jesus.Lord act on behalf of my children.Act on behalf of my family.In Jesus mighty name.We have prayed.Now I told us number one that our giving can make God to
giving, you know, to support the work of God, giving in any way, giving in any way can make God to ask.There was a man of God that shared this story and it touched my heart.
He said that there was a time he saw a homeless guy, it was cold and, you know, rain was falling and this homeless guy was almost half naked.So he gave his coats to the homeless guy And then the homeless guy walked away and thanked him.
And in his dream, in his dream, Jesus showed up to this man.And when Jesus showed up, Jesus said, do you know that the homeless guy that you gave coat, I was the one.And the man was surprised.You mean you were the homeless guy?Yeah.
Jesus said, I was that homeless guy that you shared your coat with. Our giving can move God.Now, giving is one of the things that can make God to act.There are some of us that we are believing God to act on our behalf.
Do you know what we make God to act?Maybe concerning our business.Yeah.Maybe concerning some closed doors in our lives.Giving can make God to act.I want you to look, there are some of us that we want the door of favor to open.
What we make that door to open is our giving. Don't let any man of God deceive you.I mean, we are Bible people.We read the Bible verse.That's why we read the Bible.We are not just praying prayer out of our mind.We are praying from the Word of God.
We have seen the examples in the Bible, how God acts, how God is moved when people give. I'm not talking about giving to the church alone, giving in any way, giving to people around us, giving to the poor, giving to the needy, giving to our parents.
Yeah, giving to our parents, giving to whether spiritual parents, biological parents, giving opens the hand of God to heart.I want us to lift up our voice.
We are going to crown to God and say, Lord, in the journey of this week, Lord, help me to give more. And as I give, begin to act on my behalf.As I give, begin to act on my behalf.
