interviewed Trump there, Katie Britt and her husband, Wesley, who's a big time former NFL player who played at the University of Alabama.She and her crew were all there was fantastic group.She is going to join us.
She's been on the road campaigning with Ted Cruz in Texas, and she wants to tell us the absolute latest about the Senate battleground as she sees it, because she is, I think, very optimistic that Republicans are going to take back control of the Senate and will then have the ability to set the agenda.
regardless of what happens in the presidential election.And if you are nervous, about the upcoming election in four days, as I would imagine 99.9% of you who are listening right now are.
Having control of the Senate, even if Kamala Harris were to win, is a major, major, huge deal, because it would restrict her in many ways from being able to implement much of her agenda.
In fact, if you want to go back in time, as consequential as the 2020 election was,
The fact that Democrats won both Senate seats in Georgia in the runoff election, I would argue to you, in terms of the disastrous economic policies that were put in place, may have even been more consequential than the actual election itself, because if Republicans had had control of the Senate instead of Democrats,
Joe Biden wouldn't have been able to come in and spend the trillions of dollars that he did, and our nation's economic position would be in much better shape, such that in the November before an election, the final jobs report wouldn't show Buck that we only added 12,000 jobs.
And I will, if you want to make a wager,
How much would you bet that when they come back and revise this number, it ends up a negative, I would almost put down an incredible amount of dollars based on how the revisions have all gone downward, that they put pressure out there to make sure that the number wasn't negative, to avoid negative headlines, and then come December, they'll come out and say, oh, guess what?
We're revising those November numbers backwards.
August and September both down, August down 81,000, September down 31,000 with revisions in place.
Also something we don't get into all that often, if you took government jobs out of the equation, then the jobs numbers over the last year and really over Biden's administration, it gets ugly.But really the jobs that they point to for Biden
It's always about the reopening of COVID, which is a perfect example of how it is that the government views employment, which is they can tell you you are, by law, not allowed to do your job because they say so, and then remove their stupid and pointless and tyrannical law after months and look at you and say, I just created a job for you.
Aren't you happy?That's how Democrats view the world.This is actually much more
a uh a an example of their central philosophy that it is just some kind of historical accident because that's what biden says as you know they claim that there has been the greatest you know job creation in the last four years
It's very little job creation unless you include telling people they can't actually go to their jobs and then saying, OK, you can go to your job again.So it's a disaster.
And the government, this is where some very smart people I know, Clay, who are in the business world, in the entrepreneurial world,
They're all saying the same thing, which is the prospect of Elon going in there in a Trump administration and just cutting the fat, just beginning to pull away and pull apart
the uh... where that's not tell you the line about the uh... face sucking vampire squid that is uh... goldman sachs i think it was that he referred to back in the financial crisis days and the true face sucking vampire squid is the federal government now it's way too big as way too much power it's far too expensive and if you go in and change that trajectory i think there will be enormous benefits the economy but
There'd be people with jobs that don't really do anything productive that would lose those jobs.The federal government is now turning into a massive jobs program.Why is it that when you look at federal civil service donations, It's all Democrats.
They give money to Democrats.Hillary, I think, got 97% of the civil service donations back in 2016.I mean, it might have leveled out a little bit since then, or it will this time around.But the Democrats are the party of a massive state.
They're the party of state employment, meaning jobs given to you by the state.And there is nothing that they can point to on the economic side that shows anything other than, well, the magic that they play with numbers to make things look good.
They have simply failed.And you know how you know, Clay?Otherwise, Kamala would lead, instead of leading with, I come from a middle class family, she would lead with, look at what a great economy it is.
But people don't feel it, and they don't believe it.And the Washington Post telling them it's good doesn't make it so.
Okay, let's dive into the math here, Buck.I'm a nerd.I like to look at the actual data.I want to tell you what I see.I'm curious if you would agree with this overall analysis, Buck, as we sit here four days out.
Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, and Nevada are all looking fantastic based on the early voting numbers and the momentum that we're seeing in those states.
You can actually go in and see in North Carolina, Nevada, and Arizona how many Republicans have shown up to vote early, how many Democrats have.We have the lead in all three of those states.
I'm very optimistic in Georgia, because if you go into where the early voters are voting, they are turning out in huge numbers in the state of Georgia in red counties relative to blue counties.
So if you told me right now, Clay, how would you assess where we are headed?And by the way, again, for the one billionth time, nobody who is listening to this right now
should use anything we ever say on this program as any evidence for why you should not vote.You need to run through the finish line.
I want all of you dropping down, panting like you just completed a marathon, when the polls close in your respective states, in your respective polling locations.
Then you can rest for the moment because we will all see what the results are If i'm right about that buck if i'm right about north carolina, georgia, nevada and arizona that gets trump to 268 If he wins those four states and every other state Omaha kfab if you vote for trump
That would guarantee Trump the win.Because he wins, if the state delegations vote, he would win a 269 to 269 tie.But I feel very good about Trump getting to 268 if I'm right about North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona.
But he's still either gonna need, Buck, you mentioned, it's true, it would be an upset if for the first time ever Trump won New Hampshire.I hope you granite staters up there, deliver New Hampshire for Trump.
If you did, that would get him over the number.Virginia, he has not won Virginia.It would be an upset for him to win Virginia.It would be an upset for him to win New Mexico.He just campaigned yesterday in Albuquerque.
If any of those states flip to Trump for the first time, that would get him over the top. I'm leery about predicting a state that didn't vote for Trump in 16 or 20 to suddenly vote for him in 24.Would love to see it happen.
It's just hard for me to dive in on the math there.Therefore, I believe it comes down to this simple equation.Trump has to win one of Michigan, Wisconsin, or Pennsylvania. If he does, he's going to be president of the United States.
If he does not, my concern is Kamala is going to get to 270 and beat Trump 270 to 268. Buck, how would you analyze that?This is four days out, looking at the map, doing the math.
A lot of you want, I see the emails and the questions like, hey, it's a little bit complicated.I know a lot of you probably don't spend as much time staring at data and looking at returns and maps as I do.So that is how I see the math and the map.
Buck, is there anything that you see that you think needs to be added on to that analysis?Do you disagree?How would you assess it?
No, I think that this is the only way, when you look at the numbers in the map, that you can view the deciding factors as.So it does come, we've known this for a long time also, where the battleground states would be.
I think we've been saying, not just since the midterms, but really since 2020, that it's going to be a half dozen states that determine the election.Well, now it looks more like it's going to be three. that determine the election.
Three states that look like they could go either way.You know, the other thing, too, is you have to be careful at this stage, everyone.And people keep asking me, like, I'm always just going to be so confident that Trump is going to win.
That's kind of my role I've found out now for a lot of my friends and family.Like, do you really think he's going to win?I'm like, I haven't changed since this morning.I still think he's going to win, you know?
Three hours later, Buck, you still think Trump's going to win?I still really believe he's going to win.
uh but the truth is you know there's going to be all these stories that come out oh but what about the surge in this vote or that vote remember people also want clicks people know that they're they're going to the fear center the anxiety response that the public is going to have all if you want to get attention right now all you have to do is say oh
terrible internal polling that I've been told about from Kamala's campaign, from Trump's campaign, and everyone's going to jump on it.We don't know until we know.Just remember that, all right?
There's a lot of ballot counting that's going to go on the day of, a huge amount.There's even ballots that could be counted for days after the election. Clay, we haven't even gotten into that.
There's the chance that this isn't as clean and finished as we would think, right?You might say, well, even if they keep counting ballots, let's say, in Pennsylvania for a few days, we'll still know.
What if there's a legal challenge in another state or two?What if there's some other issue?What if a pipe breaks somewhere and they have to, you know, there's a lot of ways that this could get very messy.So that's why we just keep calm, carry on.
We do our thing.We just roll with it.It's going to be fine.It's going to be fine.And vote.
It's also, by the way, Buck, why we may be sitting here for days and this is crazy, whatever your politics are, the idea that we could be counting votes for days or even weeks and unsure who won. We can't run a country like this.We just can't.
There has to be a result on election night.I don't know how we're going back in time and becoming less reliable.Somehow in the 1960s we were able to do this, and now 60 years later we've gotten worse at actually determining who wins elections.
I will say, and we'll talk about this more on Monday and Tuesday, What Florida says will go a long way.I do think Georgia and North Carolina will also be fairly fast.
And it appears Michigan may be somewhat decent at giving us an indication of how things are going to go.Nevada is probably going to take a while.Arizona is going to take a while.Pennsylvania is going to take a while.
I mean, what was the old ad they used to have, like the weight ad?Was it like Snickers? I think you should just prepare for a little bit of a wait.
And if you're preparing for a little bit of a wait, maybe you need a little bit more of them vigor and vitality in your life.That might be a sign that you need some more testosterone.Again, I mentioned earlier, last night was Halloween.

Yeah, look, I think, again, the data is that Georgia is going to punch back.And if you were out there right now and you were upset about how 2020 went and how 2021 went, remember in 2022, they had record turnout for a midterm.
And the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, won by almost eight points and basically up and down the board.I know Herschel lost a very close race, but up and down the board, I think Republicans won seven out of eight seats.
elections in that group statewide.And I just think people are showing up, the data reflects it, Georgia's gonna flip back.
And man, like I said, in about two hours, Buck, I will be sitting on a plane headed to Pennsylvania because all of the data reflects that Trump is in great shape in Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, and Arizona.
And he's just got to win one of the battleground states.And Com Andor, if he could win Omaha, all you KFAB listeners, I mean, we talked about this buck.
If it comes down to Harris winning 270 to 268, she's going to be president because some knucklehead Nebraska senators refuse to make Nebraska winner take all. And we told you this could happen.
That's my one concern is that she could get over the finish line 270 to 268.Omaha, you can stop that from happening.Get out and vote.Make Omaha red.And there's no path, I really believe this, for Kamala Harris to be president.

Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton's show.Friday, I hope all of you are having a fantastic post Halloween recovery, hanging out with us four days until the election.And we're joined now by Senator Katie Britt of Alabama.
We got a lot to get into with her. But Senator Britt, last time I saw you, you were with Donald Trump at the Georgia-Alabama game.
Based on my knowledge of you, you are both a strong and intelligent woman, but Mark Cuban claims that no strong, intelligent women are ever seen with Trump.What did you think when you heard those comments?
Look, I thought that it was a desperate attempt to convince women not to vote for President Trump. And we know president Trump is fighting for all Americans.And honestly, as a woman, I'm offended.I am really offended.
You think about the different people that president Trump has had around him.You think about how many of those were women, how many of those were working women that he sought their counsel, their advice.
He, he wanted their thoughts on policy positions and how to move forward.I've experienced that myself in my short term and the United States Senate.
When it came to talking about the issue of IBS, President Trump not only immediately took my call, but listened to what I had to say, and then he acted.
And so the fact that Mark Cuban would run his mouth yet again, and do so in such a disparaging way to so many women across America, I'm just once again offended.And it's so interesting to me, Clay, here you have
the party that's supposed to be this party of unity and party of diversity.So they say, and yet they continue to say, if you do not think just like me, you not only are you not welcome, but we're going to make sure to be disparaging to you as well.
And at the end of the day, women are smarter than this.
They are smarter than to play into the hand of someone like Mark Cuban, because we know that the issues in front of us, that have a secure border, that have safe streets, that have strong families,
and a strong defense, those are things that matter to our families, those are things that matter to our opportunity to achieve the American dream, and those are things that matter to preserving it for our children.
And so I think this is gonna backfire in a big way, and for me personally, the moment I heard it, just utterly offended and thought it was despicable.
I know you probably don't know him, Senator Britt, but Mark Cuban, a lot of us remember him from the earlier days of Shark Tank.What happened?
Do you think that some of these surrogates for Kamala that are going around making a particular fool of themselves, the brainwashing just sets in after a period of time and they think that Donald Trump really is going to end the country, even though he didn't the first four years, it actually worked out really well.
How do you how do you gauge that like what are the some of these individuals that are celebrities?
Think they're going to accomplish by doing this other than probably get made fun of a lot on X like Mark Cuban Who has now had to deal with a front cover New York Post article on him?
Yeah, thank goodness and look there should be more coverage of these stars that are that stepping out and disparaging everyday Americans.Look, we're all entitled to our opinion.That's the beauty of this nation.
And the interesting thing is, is obviously Donald Trump is going to be the one to fight to allow you to have that opinion, even if it's different than than his.And if you think about what these stars are doing, they're conforming to peer pressure.
They have been literally in an echo chamber.They live, um, pretty incredible lives.And instead of taking a step back and saying, what is the appeal of an everyday American to vote for Donald Trump?
Why is it that they believe he would run the country back?Um, they immediately look down their nose and say things that are disparaging.Um, and, and truly
despicable in so many ways about people who they're not even trying to understand where they are in life and what they're doing.And if you look at it, guys, look at what it was under Donald Trump.We had the most secure border in decades.
If you look at the fact of what's happening overseas right now.
I mean, whether it is Putin's invasion of Ukraine, whether it is what is happening in the Middle East with our greatest ally, Israel, whether it is China coming over to our shore in San Francisco and meeting with Joe Biden and saying it's not an if, but a when I take Taiwan, there is no doubt we are weaker and more vulnerable with Biden-Harris in office.
And if you look back to President Trump, there were no new wars started under President Trump. Also, too, we know that our dollar went further.
I mean, President Trump thought about how do we make sure that Americans can achieve that American dream, whether it's through energy independence and dominance, whether it's through, you know, making sure that there are good paying jobs for all Americans.
You know, those are things he's fighting for.And so, you know, you look at what the liberals continue to do, you know, rewind back to when Hillary Clinton called us deplorables.Rewind just a week within the last week when Joe Biden called us garbage.
And now you have Mark Cuban calling us weak and dumb.
And instead of trying to understand why people would want Donald Trump in office, which is pretty obvious to me, they want to create peer pressure and dynamics where you're not cool unless you're with them.
And I think at the end of the day, the American people know better. They know they want stable prices and a secure border and safe streets and a strong defense.And they know that Donald Trump will deliver that.
And I think when people ask themselves the question, are you better off now than you were four years ago?There is no one that can say yes.And at the end of the day, when people go into the ballot box,
It is not the words, the disparaging words of Mark Cuban, um, that will have an effect on them.
Um, it is, it is what is possible for them and what is possible for the country and what is possible for the future of children with Donald Trump in charge.
We're talking to Senator Katie Britt.Katie, I know you've been on the road with Ted Cruz recently going through Texas.I'm going to be at the Ohio State-Penn State game tomorrow with Dave McCormick.
He's going to be on with us in the third hour in a bit.But whether it's Mike Rogers in Michigan, Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania, Eric Hubdee in Wisconsin, Kerry Lake, Arizona, Sam Brown in Nevada, Tim Sheehy in Montana.
We've got Bernie Marino in Ohio.I hope I'm not missing anybody.Certainly West Virginia is going to flip with Jim Justice.What are you seeing?How did it look with the Cruz campaign?
And what would it mean to take back control of the United States Senate?
Look, we have all got to make sure that we are paying attention to these races.If you are out there and you can send a dollar, you can send five dollars, anything like that, all of these candidates you just named need your help.
It is critically important that we take back the Senate, and then we want to do so.And obviously, the more, then the better position we are to do good things. When it comes to someone like Senator Cruz, I mean, he is fighting for Americans.
He's fighting for our values.He is unafraid to speak truth to power.When you look at what Chuck Schumer is doing, though, he has made Ted Cruz his number one target to take out. And we need Ted.Uh, we need Ted's voice.We need Ted's fight.
Um, and we need Ted's ability to get things done.I watched him this year, get the FAA reauthorization done in a bipartisan fashion, getting that across the finish line.
Uh, there was no greater champion to stand alongside me in the U S Senate when it came to protecting the access to IVF, then Ted Cruz.I mean, the moment that I got up at conference and spoke about what was happening in the state of Alabama,
Ted immediately said, I'm with you and let's make sure that we fight to protect this.So Ted is the kind of person we need.Ted Cruz dot org, Ted Cruz dot org, Ted Cruz dot org.And seeing him on the campaign trail, he is a machine.I mean, he was.
from interviews to, uh, you know, at rallies to then meeting with constituents, taking pictures and getting on the bus and doing town halls.So no one's working harder.
And I know that that is just a window into how all of these Senate candidates are just grinding it out in these last few days, because they know that saving our country is worth it.
And having a Republican majority in the Senate is critically important to that.Chuck Schumer has already said what he would do if he maintains the majority.He would break the filibuster.You know, he'd have a laundry list of things he would do.
First thing would be federalizing elections.Their S-1 or H-R-1, as you've seen it across the nation, making Puerto Rico and
making DC and other states packing the Supreme Court, just a few things that they would do fundamentally shifting how we operate as a nation.And so we've got to stand up and we've got to stand strong.So all of these candidates need your help.
And I'm a little jealous that I'm going to miss the Ohio-Penn State game with you, because that sounds like some really good football.And we will see if James Franklin can actually, you know, seize the day there on Ryan Day.
And that's going to be a good one to watch.
I'm going to be there in lot 41 with Dave McCormick-Buck.
I don't want to interrupt the football stuff.It's going to be a big game.Who am I rooting for, Clay?You need to tell me.
I think you should root for Penn State because maybe if Penn State wins, there will be more enthusiasm in Pennsylvania for Donald Trump because I think Penn State voters, Penn State fans will be voting Trump and we've already got Ohio locked up.
I mean, go vote for Bernie Marino, but Trump's not losing Ohio.
Senator Britt, to that end, it seems like it's all coming down to Pennsylvania.
And I'm just wondering, from what you can see, talking to your Senate colleagues and people who are involved in the Republican get-out-the-vote machinery, how is the ground game there looking for, obviously, Dave McCormick, but also Donald Trump at this stage?
Have we learned some of the lessons of 2020?And are we applying tactics this time around that are going to be critical in getting that final vote tally where it needs to be?
Absolutely.Look, we have learned lessons and that's what you've got to do.We've taken a step back from 2022 and said, what could we have done differently?
Obviously, you know, with moving to shifting to a space of knowing the rules in the state, playing by those rules and winning by those rules is what we are doing right now.We know that everyone has different rules, each state.
And so when, when early voting begins, We've begun really pushing people to engage in that.That's a very different approach than we saw in 2022, particularly in Pennsylvania, amongst other states.
There's been no one in the Senate that's been working harder on that than actually your Senator there in Tennessee, Bill Hagerty, and making sure that we've been thoughtful about who do we miss, how do we get people, likely voters or low propensity voters, and working through that.
So we've been doing that in a number of states.Pennsylvania is one of those.Ohio is one.Montana is one. Nevada is one.You know, you look at Nevada and that's a state where, you know, we lost that Senate race by about 7,000 votes.
It was about eight votes per precinct.And so just saying, how could we do better?What did we learn?And let's put that in place.Also making sure that
We've got attorneys who have volunteered their time that are across the country taking a look at how things are being done, calling practices out that need to be.It's really are more thoughtful.
So at the end of the day, we are excited, but certainly not complacent.We know that now is the time to sprint through the finish line.
If you are listening to this and you have not voted already, and that is legal in your state to go ahead and vote, then go vote, and then don't be complacent with that.
Talk to your coworkers, talk to your family members, call people in other states, because this is a tipping point moment for our nation, and it is time to remind people who we are as a country, why we're so proud to be Americans, the opportunity we want to preserve for the next generation, and it is all on the ballot on November 5th.
