After watching the news media's coverage of this year's presidential election, some people are saying that America's journalists are wholly unqualified to report the news and should find more suitable employment, like cleaning the port-au-sains on those construction sites with very low sanitation standards, until even the managers of these disgusting venues can no longer tolerate the steaming piles of unmitigated crap these journalists produce.
and not only fire them, but leave such scorching denunciations of their work on social media that they become unemployable and wind up wandering the deserted streets of some crumbling Democrat-run urban hellhole until, at last, unable to tolerate the shame of being an American journalist, they hurl themselves into the nearest river, where a crowd of the very audience they lied to gathers to watch them struggling against the tide and murmurs to one another,
Isn't that that sneering girly man who fact-checked Donald Trump's facts with falsehoods during the last debate?
And other similar remarks that ultimately raised their level of righteous indignation to the point where they start hurling rotten vegetables at these former so-called journalists so that they not only float out to sea forever, but float out to sea covered in decaying lettuce and onions and good riddance.
Now maybe these stinkers will learn to tell the truth once in a while. But of course, that's only the opinion of some people.
Other people just aren't paying attention or they're standing in the rain shaking their fists at the sky and shouting at the Jews to stop sending all these hurricanes. And now there's been a new incident.
that has shaken the confidence of those people who still had confidence in the news media, a pretzel vendor named Studs Korchinski and his brother, Harold, who sells counterfeit Rolexes.
Some are now suggesting that 60 Minutes may have edited Bill Whitaker's recent interview with Kamala Harris. The differences are subtle, but a close reading of the original versus the broadcast transcripts does reveal some small discrepancies.
For instance, in the interview as broadcast on CBS, the transcript reads, quote, Whitaker, Do you consider Benjamin Netanyahu an ally?
Harris, I grew up in the middle class where people were proud of their lawns and billionaires have to pay their fair share, unquote. But in the original footage of the interview, the exchange is slightly different.
Quote, Whitaker, how many times do you have to stab that Jew in the back before he finally dies?Harris, really you should ask whether Israel is an ally. And of course, no, they keep sending all these hurricanes, unquote.
A transcript of another segment of the Broadcast Exchange reads, quote, Whitaker, how do you plan to fund your social agenda?Harris, it's time for billionaires to pay their fair share of the middle class where I grew up on the lawn, unquote.
But the original version reads, quote, Whitaker, well then who the hell's gonna pay for all this useless crap?
Harris, listen melonhead, I didn't screw my way into this business to get interrogated by some clown who looks like he's wearing John Bolton's mustache. for Halloween.
When I pretend I'll tax billionaires who've already moved to Luxembourg and give that imaginary money to people who can't afford to buy a dozen eggs because Bidenomics has made them cost nearly as much as my belt buckle, your job is to nod and say, great idea, then move on.
You should be more like that babe on Call Her Daddy and talk about pop-tarting, other things I know something about," unquote. And finally, the transcript of the original broadcast reads, quote, Whittaker, how will your policies differ from present,
Harris, it's time for lawns to grow and pay their billionaires the fair share of the middle class, unquote. The original transcript reads, quote, Whitaker, how will your policies differ from President Biden's bitch?
Harris, well, Biden is always staring around like a newborn and then rasping out these meaningless catchphrases, whereas I prefer to rasp out meaningless catchphrases than laugh maniacally, so that's one big change right there.
Also, when Jill slaps Joe, she's trying to bring him back to consciousness, whereas when Doug slaps me, it's just because he's a bastard.Trigger warning, I'm Andrew Klavan, and this is The Andrew Klavan Show.
Well, at least somebody is having a good time.

Yeah, so these are the kinds of lowlifes who are hanging out on the show. and we're ashamed of them and we're embarrassed to have them and we're glad you're all here.Let's get to today's episode, Kama Kamala Chameleon.
There was a post from David Limbaugh, a great guy, obviously Russia's brother, who said on X, many who claim to be conservative and reject leftism yet brag that they are too principled to vote for Trump might as well be holding a sign that they are consumed with the sin of pride and elevating self above country.
Abstention is voting, voting for Kamala is even worse. Now I agree with David, although I have to say, I have respect for someone who's an anti-American communist who votes for Kamala.
But people who vote for, because she is an anti-American communist and so is Tim Walz, but people who vote for Kamala or don't vote for Trump because they are just too virtuous to dirty their hands with reality, I think that that is very hard for me to respect.
You know this is a very bad news trump is the guy opposing them he can do the job we know we can do the job he wasn't the nazi last time is not gonna be a nazi this time he is simply a common sense guy with the kind of manners that you get if you were down to earth person in new york and i think the other thing about this.
I'm not gonna make any predictions about the race because the polls are all over the place you hear people saying come on is winning your people saying trump winning trump's when most people saying it's neck and neck i just want to tell you my gut feeling and what it's based on my feelings the trump is much further ahead than people say he is now.
If i'm wrong you know like i don't know anything more than you do but i'll tell you what is based on you know it's based on an idea about that the media landscape has shifted entirely and people are no longer being swayed at the same level by what they used to call the mainstream media.
The corrupt corporate media is so self-important that they neither realize how corrupt they are or that we see how corrupt they are and that they're no longer as important as they were.
And this is why I think that a lot of the polls and a lot of the commentary is just missing what is really happening. So Trump has a real chance here, I believe. And this is, you know, he calls, he wrote a book called The Art of the Deal.
Politics is the art of the real. and you gotta vote for the guy who can win, who is the best man for the job on offer.
And there's just no question, as opposed to these people who hate our country, who hate Israel because they think of it as part of our country, these people who are just opening the floodgates of our borders, there's no question that Trump can do a better job than that.
So please, all of you, don't just complain, get out there and vote for him, and we will talk about why I think that Trump is really further ahead than people say.
Going online without ExpressVPN is like not paying attention to the safety demonstration on a flight. Most of the time you'll be fine, but what if one day that weird yellow mask drops down from overhead and you have no idea what to do?
In today's digital age, your personal information is more vulnerable than ever.
Every time you connect to an unsecured network, at your favorite coffee shop, in an airport lounge, or even at a hotel, you're essentially opening the door to potential hackers. It doesn't take a tech genius to steal your data.
With some cheap hardware, even a precocious 12-year-old could potentially access your passwords, bank logins, and credit card details.Did you know hackers can make up to $1,000 per person selling personal info on the dark web?
There's a simple solution, ExpressVPN.This powerful tool creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and the internet, making it virtually impossible for hackers to intercept your data. How secure is it?
Well, it would take a hacker with a supercomputer over a billion years to crack ExpressVPN's encryption. What I love about ExpressVPN is its simplicity. You don't need to be a tech wizard to use it.
Just fire up the app, click one button, and you're protected. It works seamlessly across all your devices, phones, laptops, tablets, so you can stay secure wherever you go.I use ExpressVPN every time I travel.I really like it.
It just makes me feel like I'm not being spied on all the time and my stuff isn't being sold on the dark web where it probably belongs, but still.
It gives me peace of mind knowing my personal information is safe, even when I'm using hotel Wi-Fi or public networks. In our increasingly connected world, this level of security isn't just a luxury, it's a necessity.

Now, one reason I think that things are going south for Kamala, I mean, there are people talking about the blue wall is breaking and all that. And I actually believe this to be true, but I've believed this for a few weeks.
I believe that Trump was actually further ahead than people were saying before this. And there's no question that the more people see of Kamala Harris, the more they realize that she is what we always knew she was, an empty box.
She's got nothing in rattling around under her hair. She's a dope, and she's obviously a front for very powerful left-wing forces. And she changed tactics this week.
A lot of people have noticed, this is not something only I noticed, but she suddenly thought, oh boy, I'm going to go out into the media, which is what she's been avoiding.
She's been hiding because even the simplest questions, and that's all she ever gets asked, the simplest questions, she can't handle them. And she did a media blitz.
And to me, it was one of the great errors in political sense that I can remember, and I'll tell you why.The press, she wants to get to the press that is active now, but she really went to the press that was active about five to 10 years ago.
which is The View and Stephen Colbert and 60 Minutes. This is the old press she goes to when she goes to them. And she did go on one podcast, Call Her Daddy, that was sort of, you know, I mean, could you get any softer than that?
Call Her Daddy is kind of a sex show where they talk about sex, basically. And she does this media blitz, but it's with people who love her.
And it's with people who are known to be completely one-sided, and the press is just kind of talking about this as if they can build her up.But even the press now is starting to realize that when she's not stupid, she's lying.
She's either stupid or lying.I mean, she's never saying anything off the cuff that's really... is really important.
And I think if you overemphasize the influence of genuine low-lifes, well-dressed low-lifes like George Stephanopoulos and David Muir, who did those incredible lying fact checks during the Trump-Harris debate, if you overemphasize them, you don't realize how much more important this kind of thing is and people are seeing it direct.
They're not being told what to think about it.So she goes on You know, the view, and she introduces the next president of the United States. So it's a completely fair, balanced interview. It's not like they're biased or anything like that.
And she comes on and they ask her, this is the big question, because she is selling herself as the agent of change. Right? She's saying, you know, we need to go a new way forward. This is a new way forward.
And so they ask her, I mean, a T-ball question. This is a big plastic wiffle ball, not the little wiffle balls. This is the big one on those big, you know, those things that are the size of like a basketball is on the plastic stand. And she whiffs it.
Here's the question.Cut three.
Well, if anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?
There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of, and I've been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.
No, the design of the Titanic was fine.I wouldn't change a thing. And you know, to a leftist, this actually makes sense because for a leftist, Different and the same are the same.If you're different, you're the same.Everything's good.
Everything's just the same.Women are men.That's fine.You're the same.The gays are straight.Everything's fine.Everything's the same.Everything's different is the same.
So this new way forward is the old way forward because that's new because it's different. So it's the same. And now she goes over for a tongue bath from Stephen Colbert.
And I sincerely believe without saying anything personal about Stephen Colbert, whom I don't know, I sincerely believe this guy is bad for America. It's bad for America that every single late night comic is on the same side.
And Colbert really should be paid advertising for the Democrat Party. That's all he does is, you know, tongue bathe Democrats and excoriate Donald Trump. And of course, it's NBC, so we already know who they are.
And he says, well, you know, you missed that gigantic wiffle ball sitting on the tee.I'm going to tee it up again.I'm going to give you a second shot at this big, even a bigger one.
It's going to be a big basket wiffle ball, and it's going to be on this side, and I'm going to give you a tremendous bat.You can hit this thing again. He asked the same question because it undermines her entire campaign. Here's the exchange.Cut four.
Polling shows that a lot of people, especially independent voters, really want this to be a change election, and that they tend to break for you in terms of thinking about change. You are a member of the president administration.
Under a Harris administration, What would the major changes be?And what would stay the same?
Sure.Well, I mean, I'm obviously not Joe Biden.I know. And so that would be one change. But also, I think it's important to say with, you know, 28 days to go, I'm not Donald Trump.
And so when we think about the significance of what this next generation of leadership looks like, were I to be elected president, it is about, frankly, I love the American people, and I believe in our country.
Holy Moses.Holy Moses. She misses twice. That's two strikes on a tee ball.Did I say that was NBC?It's CBS, obviously. But they're just as bad. We'll get to CBS.We'll get back to CBS in a moment.
She's missus this thing twice i'm running on change i won't change anything and she misses the t-ball twice now.
We got this horrible hurricane that comes into florida hurricane milton i don't know why they give men's names the hurricane the access like women that's what the hurricanes otherwise it is a case but.
This thing comes through, and she tries to call Governor DeSantis, or says she does, in Florida, and he doesn't take her call. This is at least what NBC News is reporting.
And she goes after Ron DeSantis, and I'll tell you why, that's just another incredible unforced error here's kamala attacking dissenters for not taking a call
People are in desperate need of support right now and playing political games at this moment in these crisis situations. These are the height of emergency situations.
It's just utterly irresponsible and it is selfish and it is about political gamesmanship instead of doing the job that you took an oath to do, which is to put the people first.
Now here's the problem, the press goes out of their way to not report this, but Ron DeSantis is the greatest governor on earth when it comes to emergencies.
He gets hit with these hurricanes, they blow people away and sometimes unfortunately there are deaths as there are going to be in these things. And the place is rebuilt in like 20 minutes. He brings people in from out of state.
He brings them in before the thing hits. He's well-planned.He's got these war rooms. You see him on TV and he knows all about hurricanes and how they behave. And he knows about the history of hurricanes.
He won't take any nonsense from the press about it's being climate change because he knows they've been hit with worse hurricanes than these. He's an amazing guy.Let's say you disagree with everything else he thinks. He's an amazing emergency governor.
And here was his response.
I've worked on these hurricanes under both President Trump and President Biden.Neither of them ever tried to politicize it.She has never called on any of the storms we've had since she's been vice president until apparently now.
Why all of a sudden is she trying to parachute in and inject herself when she's never shown any interest in the past?We know it's because of politics. We know it's because of her campaign. I have zero time to entertain these political games.
We're going to continue to do what we need to do to prepare and respond to what may be one of the most damaging storms in the history of the United States. So that hurt.
And then Joe Biden talks about DeSantis this way.Gotta love him.
The governor of Florida has been cooperative. He said he's gotten all that he needs.I talked to him again yesterday. And I said, no, you're doing a great job. It's all being done well.We thank you for it.
And I literally gave my personal phone number to call.So I don't know.
There was a rough start in some places, but every governor, every governor from Florida to North Carolina has been fully cooperative and supportive and acknowledged what this team is doing.
And they're doing an incredible job. He's practicing stabbing her, so when he goes back to Netanyahu, he knows how to stab people in the back.
It's just, at this point, he hates her so much, and he's so old and demented that he can't restrain it anymore. You know, you get old, it's very hard to contain your feelings.I used to be a lovely person.I used to be charming, polite.
I would never say a bad word about anybody.I'm lying. But still, we can imagine that. And then as you get old, you just don't have the energy to hide yourself. So Biden just hates this woman.Everybody hates her.
Anybody who comes close to her, she's fired everybody.People quit from her all the time. The worst appearance she did has to be on 60 Minutes, and 60 Minutes is kind of the poster child for what I'm getting at.
60 Minutes used to be a CBS institution on a network that used to be called the Champagne Network because it had, you know, Edward R. Murrow and the greatest programming, high class programming.
And they think they still deserve the respect that they had before they went bad. They really are like an upright citizen who has now become a criminal but thinks he should still be treated like an upright citizen.
CBS still thinks that 60 minutes is 60 minutes.
and yet it is if you're 80 and you never get out of the house and you only watch tv but if anybody if you're any younger than that and you look at social media at all you know that 60 minutes is a democrat front and cbs of course is utterly corrupt and so here is
the original take that they accidentally, I guess, released before the interview came out, just an original portion of this interview, which they then edited for broadcast.
I mean, I was joking about that in the opening of the show, but this actually happened. It's an immense, immense journalistic scandal. All right, here's the original.
But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.
Well, Bill, The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.
OK, so it's a Kamala word salad. We're going to have these in my house now, Kamala salads, where they're just words that don't make any sense rolled together. Here is the one they broadcast, the answer they broadcast.
But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.
We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.
What's amazing about that is it's not even from the same part.
They lifted in, they skylifted in something else from something else she was talking about when she was talking about the Middle East still, but they lifted it in and planted it there as an answer to his question.
And the sad part about this, by the way, is that Bill Whitaker did a good job.
You know, the thing about the press, the media, is a lot of the people there, one of the reasons they don't understand how bad it is, is you know how the left says America is systemically racist and therefore you don't have to be racist to be racist?
That's a lie, okay? But this is not a lie. The American news media is systemically corrupt, so you don't have to be corrupt to be corrupt. There is a logic to something being systemically corrupt, and Bill Whitaker is not a corrupt guy.
He was asking perfectly fair questions, but he works for CBS, a corrupt network, just like NBC and ABC, and it makes him corrupt. So here he asks her a question, and he follows up on it, and he did a good job asking her about the border crisis.
There was an historic flood of undocumented immigrants coming across the border the first three years of your administration. As a matter of fact, arrivals quadrupled from the last year of President Trump. Was it a mistake?
to loosen the immigration policies as much as you did.
It's a long-standing problem. And solutions are at hand. And from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions.
What I was asking was, was it a mistake to kind of allow that flood to happen in the first place?
The policies that we have been proposing are about fixing a problem, not promoting a problem.
So from day one, literally, they EO, the executive ordered away Trump's remain in Mexico policy, which meant people couldn't just come over and declare asylum and then stay here while that got worked out. They stopped building the border wall.
And the democrats frustrated the board. She's just lying when she's not an idiot.
She's a liar I mean, it's just it's just amazing and you can't help but see it I mean, you know, she is she can be poised she can recite her little you know, uh phrases But on top of all of this is that 60 minutes?
Could not resist going after trump The amazing thing is they still think that 60 minutes is the kind of institution that can decide elections And I believe it's not and i'll show you why

So along with the interview, Scott Pelly, who is Ted Baxter, I don't know how many people remember Ted Baxter from the Mary Tyler Moore show, the stupid corrupt newsman, but Scott Pelly is Ted Baxter.
He comes out and attacks Trump and says that we invited both Kamala Harris and Trump, but Trump wouldn't come on.Trump agreed to come on and then he canceled out.And here's what Ted Baxter says, 18.
A week ago, Trump backed out.The campaign offered shifting explanations.First, it complained that we would fact-check the interview. We fact-check every story.Later, Trump said he needed an apology for his interview in 2020.
Trump claims correspondent Leslie Stahl said in that interview that Hunter Biden's controversial laptop came from Russia. She never said that.
Okay. Now let's go back to this interview where. Joe Biden was getting treated.Remember, Joe Biden was hiding in the basement, and he was being treated with kid gloves.Nobody was asking him hard questions.
This laptop came out, and it was an October surprise, and it obviously showed, as we now know, that Joe Biden was part of the corrupt enterprise of Hunter Biden.Does it prove that?
No, but it strongly indicates it, and we don't have to say this out loud. It's so obvious that if this kind of evidence came out about Donald Trump, he would be already indicted for this.
So, Trump brings this up with Leslie Stahl, and this part was cut out of, this was not in the broadcast interview, as I recall, I think it was that Trump put it out later. And this is what Leslie Stahl said, this was cut in 19.
I think it's one of the biggest scandals I've ever seen, and you don't cover it. You want to talk about?
Well, because it can't be verified.
I want to talk about insignificant things.
Of course it can be verified.Excuse me.They found the laptop.Leslie, Leslie.
The laptop. Why do you say that?
Because it can't be verified.Even the family hasn't.The family on the laptop. He's gone into hiding. For five days he's gone into hiding. Oh, it's taken him five days to prepare.I doubt it.I doubt it.Okay, go ahead.
So let's get back to the main point.
So it can't be verified because Leslie Stahl is just a poor peasant girl walking the street carrying wood and water back to her little hut in the forest.
It's too bad she's not a major reporter on one of the biggest news networks with the biggest news gathering staff in the country because then they might go out and try to verify it.
This is the thing about these discrepancies between the press and Trump.A lot of times Trump is not 90% right, he's 100% right.
Everything was verified and they did report the famous, infamous 51 intelligent agents letter saying, oh, this looks like Russian disinformation, which of course it wasn't.
Now this part was in the show as Trump compared their coverage of him to the coverage of Biden, cut 20.
I wish you would interview Joe Biden like you interview me.It would be so good. You know what?
You like this, I thought.I thought you liked Sparks.I don't mind it.I don't mind it.
But when I watch him walk out of a store, and he's walking with ice cream. And the question the media asked him, what kind of ice cream, what flavor ice cream do you have? And he's in the midst of a scandal.
And he's taking, of course he is, Leslie. No, come on.Of course he is.It's the biggest, second biggest scandal. The biggest scandal was when they spied on my campaign. They spied on my campaign, Leslie. There's no real evidence of that.
Of course there is, it's all over the place.
And that turned out to be true, too. They did spy on his campaign. They bugged his offices. They bugged the Trump Tower. It was all true.
But unfortunately, Leslie Stahl, the peasant girl who just carries wooden water, who's living out in the woods in a cottage, she hasn't got the wherewithal to go out and check any of this.
And so she just giggles like a 12-year-old girl and tells him he's being silly to say that.
uh that joe biden is in the midst of a scandal which is exactly what joe biden was he was in the midst of a tremendous scandal if he had been a republican fortunately he had the magic suit of being a democrat on so 60 minutes still thinks they're 60 minutes just like the new york times still thinks there's the new york times and i'm not saying they don't have residual power they do have residual power they still have like yale is still a respected university
But is not Yale anymore, any more than Harvard is Harvard anymore. These things do get out and people do see them. And that's why they're so upset about misinformation, which as we remember is the truth when it gets out.
They're prosecuting everything they can. They're trying to shut down every form of information they can. They're investigating Elon Musk. Why? Because he's going to Mars without a license?
No, because he's letting people speak on X and they're trying to intimidate him.And unfortunately, the guy's too kooky to be intimidated even with the entire government coming after him.
So, both of them, both Harris and Trump, go on what you might call alternative media, which is insane because Trump is a master of this. You want to see the difference between someone being a regular guy and someone who is a regular guy.
Here's Harris on with Colbert.
The vibe election, all the vibes were all good, but elections I think are won on vibes because one of the old saws is they just want somebody they can have a beer with.So would you like to have a beer with me so I can tell people what that's like?
Okay, this was, now we asked ahead of time because I can't just be giving a drink to the Vice President of the United States. You asked for Miller High Life. I'm just curious.
OK, the last time I had beer was at a baseball game with Doug.OK, so cheers. There you go.Cheers.
There you go.That tastes like the beautiful city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The champagne and beer.
So that was so real and so down to earth and so unplanned and so unscripted and so, I mean, I don't know, that makes me cringe.
Meanwhile, Trump goes on a podcast that I apologize, I've never heard of it before, that's my fault, not theirs, but it's called Flagrant.I hate to promote a rival podcast, but this was one of the funniest interviews I have ever seen.
And it was kind of a substantive interview, too. They did a good job of trying to get some stuff out of him.And Trump was canny. He's a canny guy.So compare that cringey beer moment to Trump talking about how he gives people nicknames. It was cut 14.
I'm good with names, you know. You are. You're very good with names.I'm a Pocahontas.
What about, and there was, tampon Tim was good. What about, is that?
The problem with tampon Tim, it's hard to say.Yeah.In other words. It's a mouthful. It's a lot.And you can't stutter it through when you follow it.It's really a lousy word to say.Yeah.But it's quite accurate, right? There are some like comrade,
Kamala, it's a little hard to say. She's comrade because she's obviously a communist. She's horrible. So I call her comrade. And it's not bad.But when you put the names together, it's a little, you got to be able to pew.
Put it out there, but we have a lot of good a lot of them I can't go into with you because Some of my best ones are from the Republican primaries.Oh, yeah, they're all friends of mine now
I love that. Some of my best bad nicknames are from the Republican primaries. Now they're all my friends. And these guys are cracking up.They can't believe the former president of the United States is talking to him.
And the other thing about Trump is he's not just a funny guy.He has a deadpan sense of humor. And that's why the press a lot of times can say that he said something where he's clearly joking and the people who like him know he's joking.
Let me just play one more myth.It was just so real.I mean, it was obviously who Trump is.And this is him talking about Biden. This is cut 50.
When we talk about funny or sad, I think it's more sad than funny. He has one ability I don't have.He sleeps. He can sleep. This guy goes on a beat. And he lays down on one of those six-ounce, they weigh six ounces and he can't lift it.
They're meant for children, young people, and old people to lift.Aluminum, you know, hollowed aluminum. They weigh very little and he can't lift. And somebody convinced him he looks good in a bathing suit.
And when you're 82, typically bathing suits aren't, gonna make you look great. You're not gonna be enhanced, all right? It's just one of those things.I can't be sure about that, but typically, you know.It depends what he's packing.
I don't know what the hell he's packing, but it's, I don't wanna, and I don't wanna know either.I don't know.He just picks up the guy, you know, the guy says, what is he packing in that bathing suit?I don't know, I don't wanna know. Now listen.
Girls, ladies, might not like this.I mean, I can tell, I know.I mean, I know if my wife is listening to this, she goes, oh my goodness, it's so boorish and all this.
But because it's guys, it's guys sitting around talking like guys talk when they're sitting around talking. And it was uproarious. And I have to say, it's just normal.
You know, I mean the thing about trump is he is normal and all these people who are saying oh the the right is weird No, the right is kind of normal, you know And that's why they're dying with the unions because he goes out the other day He was in detroit and he goes out and says, you know, this is what we'll do the guy You guys are working class guys.
You're not being treated Well, we're going to give you tax breaks to start a factory in america and all this stuff
You know, he is in touch with like what ordinary people are like and I can see why suburban women look at him and say like, ooh, you know, my husband doesn't talk like that, but you know, he does.
He just doesn't do it while you're around because he's being polite with the ladies. So he's going on the show and he's just being an ordinary guy.And this is what I mean. The old media is dying in its own corruption.
60 Minutes has lost the pull that they have because they're no longer really 60 Minutes any more than the New York Times is any longer than the New York Times. The New York Times has always been a left-wing paper, but it was not what it is now.
It was not this kind of sophomoric you know, oh, I went to Harvard and now I'm a radical newspaper. It was run by adults who were actually paying attention and they were on the left. And that's different than what you read now.
And the paper is really just a takeoff on itself. This media is dying and I don't know how fast it's dying. That's why I can't be sure of what I'm seeing.Sometimes I see things, you know, when you come to the show, you get tomorrow's news today.
And sometimes I see things a little bit before they happen, but I think this is happening in a great big wonking hurry. And the new media is starting to coalesce into something that's a kind of more Democrat system.
It's an amalgam of serious talk and ordinary silliness, and it's got a lot of fakes in there, putting up fake news. That's absolutely true. You know, there is misinformation on X. You see people putting up stuff that just
isn't so, but you begin to start to weed through it.You begin to say, oh, this is a guy who was right before.I'm going to pay attention.
It's starting to coalesce in the same way during the Reformation, which is what this reminds me of when the basic monopoly on information of the Catholic Church was broken. You would start to see, oh, this guy is a guy whose Bible translation
is good, and now I'm going to follow this and become a Calvinist or whatever, this is the same kind of thing.
You're starting to see, well, this guy's information is pretty solid, and this guy isn't, and I'm not going to listen to him anymore, and this debunking of that guy actually works. It's starting to be a system, and Trump is a master of it.
And we can see who the bad guys are, and I'll show you why I say that. A few years back, members of the world's elite met at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and launched the Great Reset Initiative.
That sounds ominous, but what exactly is their plan and what does it mean for America? In short, they aim to transform the world economy. So that is ominous.
Founder and director of the forum, Klaus Schwab, even wrote, we need a great reset of capitalism. If successful, their plan would destroy our American way of life. Hillsdale College, and you've heard me talk about them before.I love them to death.
They held a conference on the Great Reset, and you can view and learn from the speakers through an online video series.
Hillsdale's video series will give you insight into the origins and leaders of the Great Reset, how the ideology of woke capitalism is infiltrating large corporations, the Great Reset from China's perspective, alternatives to the Great Reset, and more.
If you believe that our country's founding principles have made it the freest and most prosperous nation in history, or you're alarmed by the growing influence of the so-called global elite like I am, then Hillsdale College's video series is a must-watch.

I mean, this tells you everything you need to know about every CBS product, whether it's fictional, whether it's news, whether it's commentary, whatever it is.He's on CBS Mornings, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and this is a much, much awarded black writer.
He's been given a genius grant. He's won all kinds of prizes. He's revered as like this great writer. Now, I read, I didn't read his entire first book.I read, It was called Between the World and Me.
I read a very, very long condensation of it, which I believe was in the Atlantic. So I read it, you know, quite a lot of it.And I thought it was, you know, I thought the writing was fine.
I didn't think he was like a master of the written word, but I thought he was fine.I thought it was an awful a book by an awful person. Now, I know people who know him, they say he's charming, I'm sure he is, but the book was an awful person.
This is a guy who hates America so much that he couldn't even grieve for 9-11.He said the firemen who were running into the buildings to save people, he said, they were not human to me, black, white, or whatever. They were menaces of nature.
They were the fire, the comet, the storm, which could, with no justification, shatter my body.Because his body, the black body, is this phrase, it makes no sense to me, but it's his phrase.
is always in danger in America because that's just how racist it is.And what's interesting is if you read the book, not that much bad has happened to him.He takes everything as a racist slur and he just believes this stuff.
All right, so he's on, he's got a new book out, I think it's called The Message, and he's on with Tony DiCoppo. And Tony DiCoppo is a Jewish guy, and he asks him about his description of the Israeli-Gaza conflict, which is all pro-Palestinian.
This is cut 12, and they have an exchange.
Why leave out that Israel is surrounded by countries that want to eliminate it?Why leave out that Israel deals with terror groups that want to eliminate it?
Why not detail anything of the first and the second intifada, the cafe bombings, the bus bombings, the little kids blown to bits? And is it because you just don't believe that Israel, in any condition, has a right to exist?
Well, I would say the perspective that you just outlined, there is no shortage of that perspective in American media. That's the first thing I would say.
I am most concerned always with those who don't have a voice, with those who don't have the ability to talk.
I have asked repeatedly in my interviews whether there is a single network mainstream organization in America with a Palestinian-American bureau chief or correspondent who actually has a voice to articulate their part of the world.
I've been a reporter for 20 years. The reporters of those who believe more sympathetically about Israel and its right to exist don't have a problem getting their voice out.
So what I liked about this is it was a real exchange. He asked him a question, he gave him an answer. Now the answer to me sounded like we don't have enough journalists who are in favor of Jews to death, you know, we need, that's what we really need.
We've got a lot of Jews in the news, and there are.We used to joke about that when I was a newsman, Jews in the news. But still, you know, what are you going to do?Have somebody who's in favor of October 7th?
So, Kopel pushed back a little, and this is clip 13.
What is it that so particularly offends you about the existence of a Jewish state that is a Jewish safe place, and not any of the other states out there?
There's nothing that offends me about a Jewish state.I am offended by the idea of states built on ethnocracy, no matter where they are.Muslim included.
I would not want a state where any group of people laid down their citizenship rights based on ethnicity.
Now, all he has to do is go, this is so dishonest. All he has to do is go to Israel and try to build a church. And they'll say, you need a building permit, but build your church.
And then go to Saudi Arabia and try to build a church whereupon he'll be killed. And so, you know, talk about ethnocracies, the Jewish state is not the only state that is built on ethnocracy. So he even went on, What Now?Is that what it's called?
And he was interviewed there and asked, he basically said he doesn't know if he would have the courage to commit the atrocities of October 7th, given the horrible things he's seen in Gaza.
And I grow up under that oppression and that poverty and the wall comes down.Am I also strong enough? or even constructed in such a way where I say, this is too far.I don't know that I am.
Wow, that's too bad.So anyway, after the interview with DeCoble, They get complaints from the young people on the staff. And this is what's happening. This happened at the New York Times. It's happening at CBS.
These are kids, privileged kids, go to top schools. You don't get into these places if you don't go to a top school. And you don't get into the news media unless your parents have money, because you have to get an internship.
Unpaid internship you have to be able to afford to do that so these are incredibly privileged people and these kids come up and they call the management and They complain that this guy DeCopal mistreated a black man, and here's the thing they have a a division
That is called the race and culture unit that was established during the hysteria over George Floyd.
And you have to go to the, it was formed in the summer of 2020, and it determines whether the tone, content, and intention of any segment or package are suitable for the network's air.
And of course they have the standards and practices which says before, before you go on, you have to run your questions through the race and culture and standards and practice, the race and culture division to get them approved because you do not want to say anything that makes a black man look like he's in favor of raping Jews to death.
You don't want to do that because it's like letting the truth leak out and we don't want to have that, that this is who Ta-Nehisi Coates is and he always was. When I read his original book, the condensation of his original book,
His hatefulness was on display and he hides it very well when he's speaking, but the things he's saying are hateful, anti-American, anti-Western.
So they have this conference call where the management calls up these young people, and here's Adrian Rourke. the president of content development and integration for CBS News.
It says on their website that she's in charge of all news gathering operations, apologizing to the people complaining about Tony Ducoupil asking a perfectly reasonable question on a news show. She apologized.Listen to this.
So I want to address three things.Number one, after a review of our coverage, including the interview, it's clear there are times we have not met our editorial standards.Number two, This has been addressed and it will continue to be in the future.
And number three, I want to acknowledge and I want to say, I want to apologize that it's taken this long. to have this conversation.
So she's groveling like a Stalinist show trial before these people, her own basically underlings. And they ultimately get to Coppola to apologize, not for what he said, but for he was rebuked for his tone and body language.
And, you know, that was his problem. It was his body language. You have to have a certain, with black people, a certain kind of body language. You know, if you don't, if your body language is too white, it's, I mean, this is insane.
This insane racism that has grown up out of this hysteria of the death of a drug addict, a resisting arrest. And he shouldn't have died probably in that exchange.
Although personally, I suspect he died of a drug overdose, but still, still, I saw the video. I didn't think the cop behaved in the best manner possible.
It's not murder, obviously, but still, the hysteria because of the fantasy that had been inculcated into people's minds that the police are racist, which is just not true. The thing is, these know-nothing college kids have adopted the same
Attitude to journalism as marks adopted to philosophy mark set up philosophy used to describe the world now has to change the world these guys think we used to deliver the facts no no not anymore we're here to change the world with journalism the problem with that is that it assumes that you know how to change the world for the better and no one has ever seemed to do that not even jesus said he was gonna do that he said the world is gonna remain just as crappy
As it was, he says he can change you for the better and only you can tell whether that's true or not ultimately.
These guys think that they, I mean, they're 12 years old and they're telling the management what to do and management is kowtowing to them because they can't find anybody else with their credentials fast enough to fill in for them.
Whereas if they found a high school graduate dedicated to telling the truth, they'd get a better reporter. That's the way the news used to be run.
These guys think that they have got the greatest idea ever, an idea that has failed everywhere it's tried, and the news has to be geared toward that idea, including this idea that black people have to be treated differently than white people when they're questioned, and blacks should have some kind of, you know, say over how questions are asked.
And they will not find out that they are ignorant little children who've been schooled by ignorant adults until they've destroyed the last best hope on earth. All right, this ad is personally important to me.

Now what we're talking about and what's at stake here is what some leftists call the social imaginary.
That's the kind of narrative that floats in the air that gives us the values we have and the assumptions that we make about what's right and wrong and what we are for. We're for freedom. We're for freedom of speech.
Now people are saying, oh, this freedom of speech, it hasn't worked out well.People are saying things I disagree with. They've got to be shut down. But that is changing, the actual assumptions and the social imaginary is changing.
This week, on Wednesday, I'm gonna be interviewing the brilliant Spencer Clavin, no relation, he's written a wonderful new book called Light of the Mind, Light of the World, about the fact that for much of our lives, the social imaginary has been that
Science and God are at odds and therefore the smart kids don't believe in God, they believe in science. But that is changing, that idea, that social imaginary is changing.
There's an article, you can read about it in Spencer's book and I hope you'll listen to the interview on Wednesday.
There's an article in City Journal this quarter by Joel Kotkin and Anthony Lemus, good writers, who say religious science is called religious science and they say spiritually inclined scientists are rediscovering a vision imbued with a sense of human values and mysteries.
And this is hugely important. It means there is an upcoming shift in the social imaginary, something I've been talking about for more than 10 years, that we as a society are about to understand the world different. And remember, this is important.
The social imaginary can do terrible things. It can convince a good man like George Washington that it's all right to hold slaves. It can convince perfectly good women that it's all right to kill their unborn children. And that's why all of us,
That's why I emphasize so hard that all of us have a responsibility to speak the truth, no matter the cost to us, to ensure that the social imaginary is in line with the moral order, so our children don't grow up in a world where people either hold slaves or kill babies.
You know, Tolstoy had this idea that History was a blind force that kind of elevated individuals. So Napoleon wasn't really the guy who made history.History made Napoleon. And to some degree, that's actually true with influential intellectuals.
If they become influential, it's because they're talking about an idea that is already part of the social imaginary. So both Sigmund Freud and C.S.Lewis were famous in their time, but only Freud became the poet.
Auden said of him, he's no more a person, but he's a whole climate of opinion because C.S.Lewis just represented a moment of
a reemergence of a religious faith after World War II, whereas Freud caught this mighty tide of unbelief and scientism and materialism.
Materialism says that the things, our spiritual faith doesn't come from our apprehension of something outside ourselves, the spirit, it comes from things inside ourselves that are related to the flesh because we're material.
So Sigmund Freud said it was eros, it was our sexual desires that kind of you know, created our belief system. And he caught the wave of this materialism.
Nietzsche, same way, with God is Dead, Foucault, with the fact that there is no truth, there are only power arrangements.
But they were, Nietzsche and Foucault, you can say they were mad and they were evil, but they were no more mad and no more evil than the tenor of the times. They were speaking into what the times already believed.
So now I've been predicting this kind of top-down revival for a long time, and now it's upon us. Celebrities, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, you know, who started to convert, become Catholic, we've seen these intellectuals.
But now, as they say in City Journal, scientists too are beginning to see that the world is shot through with values and with consciousness everywhere. And the things that they say in the Bible actually have a relationship to the real world.Okay.
Now we have to discuss what that relationship is.We have to talk about it.We can see it from different angles, but still, still, it turns out that the Bible is not a fairy tale and science does not describe the entire world.
And so I've been talking about a new assumption and it's obviously a, a pun on the assumption of Mary into heaven, but this has nothing to do with that. It's just about the things that we assume.
And what I think is that people like me who speak in public and who write and who write fiction, who create works of culture, and people like everybody who speak to their children, who speak at schools, who talk to teachers and who protest things and who talk at work, all of us have to come to a place where we no longer just argue.
that materialism is false and God is real.We have to just assume it.We have to just assume it.We have to just speak as if this is the obvious truth.I'll use myself as an example because I know myself.
I write nonfiction work, which is kind of, a lot of it is kind of literary criticism, like the truth and beauty about the romantic poets.Next year, I have a book called the Kingdom of Cain, which is about darkness and murder in fiction.
And I assume in these books that art, literature, is in a kind of engagement with God.And I assume that, I don't argue about it, I don't say, let me argue that this is an engagement with God.
I simply assume it because even an atheist artist has to engage with God because God is the underpinning of reality.I just assume it.And in my fiction, in A Woman Underground, in my Cameron Winter books,
My detective is an agnostic, but I place him in a world where God's presence is obvious if you're willing to see it, because that's the world we live in.I'm just a writer.
I just create stories about the world that we're in, and the world that we're in is a world where God's presence is obvious if you are willing to see it.
So in, A Woman Underground, I'll just give you an example, and I don't wanna talk about the themes, because I don't wanna ruin the fact that it's just a thriller, and it is a thriller, but one of the themes of the book is that stories have meaning,
because our lives have meaning because our lives are stories that are being told by their author and their author is the meaning of our lives and i don't mention this in the book i hint at it i don't mention it i don't explore it i simply write as if it's the truth because it is the truth and that's the way you know people say well why do you say your work is not it's not just a mystery it's not just a thrill it's because it is
underpinned with these truths about the world that I just assumed. And I'm not suggesting that we do this, this new assumption as a trick.I'm not saying this is a new way, a strategy for convincing people that there's a God.
I'm suggesting it as basically a vital approach to thought and speech and creation. When you speak, when you stand up and speak in school, when you stand up and speak at a school board meeting, when you talk at work,
Talk as if you are living in a moral world.Talk as if you are living in a world where the moral order is determined by our Creator. And the reason I say this is important now is because the argument is won.
The argument is won, they just don't know it yet.And so we should start acting as if the argument is won.The old philosopher's cry was that God is dead. But the new cry, and it's coming very soon, will be, he has risen.Let's assume it's so.

Claven with a K, clapbacks also with a K, clavenclapbacks at dailywire.com. From Ralph, I've been dating a girl for a few months now.We seem to be fairly well suited for each other in values and interests.
However, recently she got a navel piercing when she told me I experienced an extremely strong visceral reaction of disgust, hurt, and betrayal.
I've told her about this and she's willing to take it out after it heals, but I can't help feeling hurt that she got it and won't take it out immediately. And it's as if she's tainted forever.
Because she's had it and he goes on for quite a long time saying he doesn't know moral objections to this But it's just really driving him crazy. He's disgusted by it.
So Ralph you got a lot of problems here Okay, the problems are much more than a naval ring.
First of all, I agree with you I hate piercings and tattoos and don't tell me they're the same as earrings having your ears pierced this little actual extra flesh It's not the same But you've got a problem too.
The reason you're overreacting is because you're kind of a controlling guy. You're trying to control this girl's life by sheer force of will and she went out and did something without asking you and you're ticked off about it.That's on the one hand.
On the other hand, If you are dating this woman for a few months and you're in love with each other or you're at least in a very passionate relationship, it would be normal operating procedure for her to say, I'm thinking of getting a naval ring.
What do you think?Because you're her guy, if that's the situation. So she is also in the wrong and you're overreacting to it.
And that reason is you've got a problem between you, which may be that she doesn't respect the relationship enough or as much as you think she should. And you're maybe a little bit over
Controlling now if you think you can fix that on either of you you should if not maybe it's time to move on But I mean even if I were dating a girl for several months it would be because I was very much Attached to her and even if I were gonna shave off my beard I would say to her What do you think about my shaving the beard and I'm not saying I wouldn't do it if she said I don't want you to do it I'm saying I would that would count for me because she's the person that
Who's gonna get kissed by my bearded face, she's the person who's gonna look at me, she's the person I wanna be attracted for.
So even a guy is gonna do that and I think that before a girl goes out and does something permanent like that, if you're in a serious relationship, she should have said something.
The fact that you've gone absolutely nuts about it and can't really discuss it with her and are trying to get her to take it out before it's medically reasonable to do. That is something else.
So I think you guys need to sit down and talk about what your relationship means, where it's going, and the dynamics. What do you expect as a man in that relationship? And do you expect to be in charge?Do you expect to be completely in charge?
Or do you think that there's room for her to have a life and also be herself in ways that you might disagree with but wanna discuss?Whatever it is, you need to have a talk about it or figure it out.All right, from PAH, P-A-H,
Oh, Clavin, my Clavin, if you were starting your career today as a nobody, your first manuscript in hand, how do you think you'd do it with sensitivity readers and most agents being blue haired libs looking for LGBT plus plus plus stories and even the big publishing houses seeming as woke as ever?
Do you think you'd still attempt the traditional route?Would you go indie?Would you do self pub?Hope to hear a reply. You know, uh, it's a really good question and, uh, I'm not sure what I would do.I would see if there was a path forward.
I would probe with certain, you know, agents, but basically, you know, get a book like Writer's Market and find out how to approach agents.
And I would probe to see if there was a way forward for me, because you're right, there is a lot of this going on.It's not all over the place. It's not complete, but you do, you know, you do get these sensitivity readers.
You do get these ridiculous comments on your work, you know, like, oh, you know,
You said this guy was brown when he should have been tan or whatever, you know, like, and it's like the, you know, Tony DeCouple at CBS, he gets this kind of, you have to speak in a certain way.And I don't speak in any way like that.I have a muse.
My muse tells me what to say.I'm an inspired writer.I write out of inspiration.I'm not interested in the passing moment. of values, and I'm especially not interested in this passing moment's values, because I believe these values are evil.
I consider myself to be in a similar situation to someone writing, not as bad, obviously, as the Nazis, that would be silly, but someone writing under a bad regime that was telling him, oh, you just have to compromise a little, just a little evil in your, I think woke is evil, and I think I'm not gonna do it, so I would not publish if I had to change things for wokeness, because I think it's evil.
I would say this, when I started writing, and this is one of the reasons I loved being a writer, is I didn't count. The only thing that counted was my books.I put my books out there and they sold or they didn't sell. You liked them or you didn't.
to entertain you i'm here to uh hopefully uplift you and to give you something in your life i have a gift i want to give that gift to you and that's why i want you guys to go out and pre-order a woman underground and keep the series going because it's something that i do for you if you don't want it i ain't gonna do it and that was the way it used to be so just the thing that you wrote mattered now
I'm a personality i mean and god put me in this place the daily wire almost against my wife and i had no idea what i was getting into when i did this and jeremy boring did it too but i can get it every morning i can't get it got some planning my revenge but like but still you know now i have a platform.
On which to beg you and plead with you to go out and preorder a woman underground that's really helpful if i were starting now i would see if i could develop a platform even if it was just a platform of between two and ten thousand people that's really all you need the martian i think he had two thousand readers but they started to spin off on that and eventually he was published and when he was published he tried to do it again you became this woke you know silly guy in the second book was was no good because of it.
But but still if you can build a platform if you can get that going and maybe start to self publish or at least show that you can attract enough people to your sub stack your blog that it becomes worth it for a publisher then go to an agent and then go to a publisher i think that would be a smart way forward you didn't have to be a personality in the old days to be a writer you said to be a really good writer now you have to be a little bit of both and all because what.
What people are buying is they're buying you and you are selling the book and that's that's a new thing I am a guy who puts I'm not a commentator Who writes books?
I'm a book writer who does commentary and that's why when I say you're gonna love my books.I mean it I'm serious, but that's the way I think I'd go.I think I'd build a following first. All right.
