And it don't matter who doesn't. That's facts.That's facts.I name dropped Joe Budden in the response song that I did to Kendrick.You dissed him?Huh?I don't call it a diss.I just- Oh, that sounds like a diss to me.I name dropped him.
Nah, it was just a friendly mention.I said, tell Joe Budden I'm on a mission, so don't butt in, Joe. You know what I mean?Like, don't try to come mess this up, man.
I'm trying to denounce my credibility by calling me a clout chaser, and at the time, mischaracterizing me, saying, D-1 is some podcaster from New Orleans, like some dude that just come out the blue.
Like you said, have some journalistic integrity and do your research and understand who this man is and what the past 15 years of his adult life have been dedicated to pushing, to understand the why behind why I did what I did.
And of course, your methods of how you would say to go about it wouldn't be the same as mine, because you're not on the same mission as me, brother.And that's evidenced in the fruit that we've produced from what we're doing.
We're both successful black men, but clearly what our music represents and what we are choosing to use as a manifestation of our platforms, is something where it shows we're on different missions.
So how are you going to knock my approach to what I'm doing when you can't even relate to what I'm doing?Yes, sir.You know, so hopefully these conversations happen and... Yeah, I'm confident that they will.
You know, me and Joe Button was on a list from a research group that was talking about black male platforms, right?And number one was talking about how strong they are and how they can be an influence in politics.
And it outlined how to recognize these platforms and how to attack them, right?To decrease their influence, right?And so I think that he can understand Right?Being attacked.This was after the situation.
But he can understand being purposely attacked for no reason, number one.And when you have influence, how there's a protocol to say that if we discredit them in the media, then it decreases their influence.
So we can't become the very thing we're fighting against.Because when I put that out there, he thanked me for, you feel me, addressing that. You feel me?And I believe that black media is important.
I believe that his platform is important and other people platforms are important, that we can have a voice and report when we want to report, when we want to report it, right?
Like you said, he built up an independent media empire to become, you know, he's the second Joe.We got Joe Rogan, got Joe Budden, you know what I'm saying?One of the most powerful in media.So I think that,
Sometimes we have characters and personalities that we say things in just how we probably would normally say them amongst each other, right?Or in conversation of peers.And then we have platforms.
So then what we say reverberates and affect people in real life.And then that just comes with another level of accountability or responsibility and awareness of our new level of power, right?And I think I always give,
a certain level of grace because we're still growing in this new power.We're still growing and maturing as men to figure out the best way to deal with things and to operate with things.
And we're going to have to fail a lot before we succeed the most.We're going to have to do a lot of things to

Wrong way.But can we give each other grace as we're making those mistakes?But the way that we can measure whether this person should be continued to giving grace is if they're growing.Because if you're not,
If you're not growing and you're not having clear thinking up to what's real and what's not and what's the best way and what's the worst way, then there's no more grace giving.Now we got more lessons to give.
So that should be the protocol.We give you enough.First, we give you enough grace, enough space. then we give you enough time to correct those mistakes.Those mistakes are then not corrected, then that's when the challenge comes back in.You feel me?
And that should be our way of looking at each other to saying that, okay, well look, a whole year done passed and you're still doing the same shit.All right, now I'm back on your helmet. Because I gave you some time to improve.
But if a person had made a mistake in a year past, he ain't making that same mistake.He don't do the same thing.You can go keep bringing up the past, or are you going to recognize the growth?
That's it.That's it.And that's where I feel like things should land with all of us. D-One and Joe Budden need to have a conversation, whether it's private or public.
I never want somebody to think that I'm only after a public conversation because of what that does for my brand or my viewership.Yeah, public or private.It's just communication leads to unification.Period.
But in conflict resolution, when something happens in public, it should be addressed publicly. Right?Or correct it publicly, I should say.Like, if we see y'all feud in front of the world, then we should know y'all made peace behind closed doors.
Right.Right.That's real.That's real.So, um, all I'm gonna do is continue praying that those things can happen, uh, in terms of that communication.
And that also, that my heart is continuously purified during this process to where I don't look at any of these brothers as my ops. Only oppa got his opportunity.Talk straight up.
And to where I don't look at any of these brothers as my enemies or anything like that, and to where I never stop loving these brothers.But understanding that there's transformational love and there's affirmational love.You know what I'm saying?
And for me, if we truly want to see the world improve and see our culture improve, we got to practice transformational love.

Starting my mornings with meditating.When I go on a juice cleanse and I just have all of this energy, also saying my affirmations every day, that's what keeps me going and lifted.
