Hey, this is Neil Strauss, host of the true crime series To Die For and To Live and Die in L.A.
I want to tell you about something I've been looking forward to, which is the continuation of Payne Lindsay's true crime hit, Up and Vanished in the Midnight Sun.
Payne has spent the last year in Nome, Alaska, investigating the case of Native Alaskan Florence Okpelik, who went missing in 2020. This case is unlike any other he's covered and has taken him all the way to the Arctic Circle and back.
After combing through tips and new leads, Payne is now back with new episodes to take us deep into what he's uncovered in Florence's case. And this is not the only case he's uncovered in the small town of Nome.
In these new episodes, he digs into the case of 36-year-old Joseph Balderas, missing since 2016.An avid outdoorsman, he was presumed to be hiking and was reported missing when he didn't show up to work.
His abandoned car was found 44 miles outside of Nome, Alaska. No one has heard from him since. From Tenderfoot TV, Up and Vanished in the Midnight Sun is available now.Listen for free on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
