Phew, the past week has been a doozy. I feel like my world got flipped upside down more than once and by the weekend I just felt defeated + scared for the future. I recorded this episode on a Sunday night which is so out of the norm for me and while working on the weekends crosses my boundaries, I loved recording this episode and it felt cathartic to talk it all over. So, I guess, that notion fits in with today's episode.

I've talked A LOT about how I don't subscribe to girl boss or hustle culture because I think it is so detrimental to our mental/emotional/physical health. While I still wholeheartedly believe that, I can't ignore the fact that I work a lot. Having a full time job + owning two businesses comes with a heavy workload. Something that I knew when I signed up for it and am proud to do, not because my self-worth is directly related to my work but because I'm trying to build myself a more stable + happy future. I think you can work really hard toward your dreams without sacrificing your health and self-worth. It's definitely difficult which is why I'm sharing my favorite tips for maintaining that balance to keep yourself healthy + how to pull yourself out of a funk.
