My sister texted me and was like, have you watched this?I was like, no.And this was like the day it came out.And I was kind of giggling at her because like it just barely came out today.And then I started watching.
And the next day I texted her and I was like, I'm done.And she was like, I only watched like the first two episodes. It was so good, I could not turn it off.
It was so good.Okay, first of all, did you ever watch Teen Mom?Yes.I feel like it was Teen Mom, but they're married.
Does that make sense?Because they're so young and the drama, but it was like classy drama.I feel like Teen Mom was kind of trashy.Oh, I'm sorry to say that, but no, totally.
So, and these girls in their own way were kind of trashy, but I am so invested.I'm invested in every single one of them and all their relationships and all their drama between each other.
Oh my gosh, which has escalated even more since the season has ended.
Yes.Oh my gosh.Okay.First off, Whitney.
Do we like Whitney?No.No.No.Me neither.
I think what bugs me so bad is she's like the type of person like, I need attention.I need attention.And then she gets mad at something and she removes herself from the group chats, but then she's still mad that they didn't invite her and it's

Yeah, but what do you expect?And then she, oh my gosh, it had me rolling when she was like, I don't expect anyone to reach out.But then she's pissed when they don't.I'm like, okay, so what do you expect from all this?
But also she's like, I am not going to go to any parties because I need space.And then she doesn't show up to
to macy's like launch party oh and those two were like so tight but then she shows up to parties she's not even invited to when she shows up to michaela's like you weren't invited oh my gosh oh i just can't and then her husband has to be gay
Okay, me and Caden talk about this more than I want to admit because obviously, like, now that the season's over, people are saying, oh, he's on Grindr, not Tinder.And I'm like, does it matter though?
Does it really?Either way, it doesn't matter what he's on.Like he was obviously wrong. But isn't Greiger just for men?Supposedly.And I think he was on Tinder.
But I think it's a joke because he has so many gay tendencies that I'm like, I mean, he had more looks in that whole season than all the women combined.Oh my gosh, yes.Every time he showed up on the screen, he was different.
And then, since then, he's gotten on dancing TikToks with Whitney.You've got more moves in those hips, boy, than my husband.Than your pregnant wife?Yeah.So I think he's gay.But she's pregnant, so.
You know the thing about Mormon gays?
He'll just stay in that marriage until he's 50 and then leave his whole family. It happens.Oh, I've heard of that so many times.Yes.
Yeah.Especially lately.Oh yeah.Yeah.Whitney?No.No.
Not a favorite.So before it came out, okay, there was so much backlash on TikTok, on all the social medias of this is so bad for Mormons.
Yes, but really the title doesn't even have anything to do with it.
Okay, but here's the thing is it came out because I'm active LDS.Yes.And I was so perturbed because Their intro and like their opening reminded me of Handmaid's Tale.
Yes, like it gave me Handmaid's Tale vibes and I was like, ew, like I cannot watch that and I was honestly so scared about what was going to be portrayed about the religion.
But honestly, Handmaid's Tale is like dark, like it is so dark.
I mean I binge watched that but it is like so dark and so it just gave me the ick of like I don't like how that's portrayed even I've watched the whole series and I felt like it was totally fine for the Mormon religion like totally I was not offended I was like I'm behind like I love it and I love it so much but the intro still gives me the ick yeah like I wish they would have picked something different
Yes, I listened to a podcast where Macy went on and I think it was Jesse and Michaela, maybe, I don't know.But the interviewer asked them about the blue coats in the intro.And Macy was like, cause obviously the interviewer was not Mormon.
So she was like. Is this real?What, what's the deal with the blue coats?What does it, what does it mean?And Macy was so, so quick to be like, no, it means nothing.
And she went on to say like that there were a couple of things that she like had put her foot down on and cause she's still active.Yes.Um, she had put her foot down on, but that was like one of the things that she kind of had to, to, um,
What am I trying to say?Like, she had to be okay with.
Which I'm glad, I know somebody stood up for some sort of belief a little bit.
But I'm like, what other things did they want to incorporate that you were like not cool with?
That would be interesting to find out.
You know what I mean?Yeah.I know.
And I just, I'm like, I know that they had no idea what this show would do and like how well it would take off, but knowing what they know now, like there should have been 20 episodes a season, right?Not eight.
no not eight because they said that they left out so much that there was so much that they filmed that wasn't included oh my gosh can we talk about how everyone just skipped over mikaela yes she got pregnant and she was under age and they just like skip over that was she 16
i i can't remember she i think they were 16 or the 14 or 16 just her she was 14 or 16 when they met but then i think she got married at 17 18
I don't know.She was so young, and that to me was like, oh boy.
Yeah, but she also has so much of a story with her skin condition and all of those things that I feel like, and yes, this can be in other seasons, but I'm like, if you had that much content and that much filmed to go into more backstory, to have more storylines, because there was even, Jessie said something about a beef between the girls and hair extensions from somebody else.
Oh, yes.So there was so much more that I'm like, why did you cut it at eight episodes? And I'm hoping that more seasons to come will have more episodes now that they know how well it did.I think, I think they will.I hope so.
And I think there's a season two.
Like they go on, the girls, um, go on to say, we don't know if there's a season two.I'm like, really though?
But Taylor just posted some in her stories of can't wait for what just happened or something like that.I'm sure they just got the green light.
Yeah.But they need to hurry now.
Well, yeah, I'm sure they're already filming again.Yeah.Yeah.Because they've got to film now for a whole year.And so much has happened now.I think Taylor and Dakota broke up.
Yes.Well, I don't know.I've seen like all these videos on TikTok and I'm like, is this real?Is this not real?I don't know.But did you follow all the girls before watching?
No, I only followed Taylor.So I actually jumped on TikTok and I was so new to TikTok.I had just downloaded it and one of her live videos came up as one of the first things I ever saw.
But did you know who she was at that point?
No, but it just came on and this is the live that she was talking about.Like I made some mistakes.This was like her coming out of blaming and spilling all the tea.This was her live. I was like, what is happening?And I was like reading the comments.
You're like, let me get the popcorn.Yeah.And that's when I like started following Miranda and Camille and got on Reddit, but I didn't know any of the other girls.Didn't follow any of the other girls.Right.
And I only followed her hair page.I didn't follow her personal page.Yes.So yeah, there was so many, so many things that I missed.Okay.
So who's your favorite?Hmm.
I don't know.Everyone's saying Demi is their favorite, which I felt that way too, but I also feel like she's a very strong personality that I might have a hard time with her in person.
I really like Taylor because I feel like she's so real, but she's not super strong, like a strong personality as like yelling at people like Demi, but I really like Macy too. And, okay, we gotta talk about the Jen and Zach whole situation.
Okay, the whole Vegas episode, it was so cringy.
So, okay, so after I watched that episode, okay, me and my husband used to have major issues in our marriage, okay?And so that's a whole nother thing.But I was like, okay, this is gonna be a test.Let's see how he answers this question.
So I went up to him and I was like,
hey so if i went on a trip to vegas and i had no idea where we were going they put me in a car and i showed up at this magic mike concert what would you do and he'd be like i'd tell you to have fun you know and i was like oh good answer but
old Steve, okay years and years ago, he probably would have acted just like Zach.And it was so triggering to me to watch that episode because some of his behaviors were just like that.
And I'm so glad like Steve has made so much progress in his behaviors and his all these things like I'm so proud of him, I love you honey if you're listening.And so I'm so glad at how he answered because I think that is healthy.
But at the same time, when we were talking about this, I said, I told him, I said, but to be fair, let's say you went to Vegas with guys and they took you to a strip club.
And I would be so upset if you were at a strip club and I would want you to leave.So I can't say that his feelings weren't valid, but I think how he said it, how he reacted, what he said to her of, you'll never see your kids again.
Those were so extreme. that it was totally handled wrong.Yes.But I'm kind of like, I can, it's hard for me to not see it flipped around the other way.But I've never seen a Magic Mike concert.I don't know, like, people are like, it's not the same.
It's not, the strip club in Magic Mike is not the same.So I don't know because I haven't been in either.But to me, I just feel like, I guess he's, him and Dakota, like, it's fair to be upset
about this thing, because I would be upset about a strip club.But the way that they handled it was totally wrong.
I think part of it is just maybe his background and the way he was raised and also the fact that they're very newly married.I mean they have two kids, but they're pretty young.Yes, very young.And I think
I mean, in my experience, the longer you're married, the more you mature.For sure.And you have different views on things.Different views.I think you handle things differently.I think you have more patience.I think...
also knowing, like he should have known that she, I mean she looked at the floor like the whole time.It was so awkward.
Like she hated being there as much as he hated her being there, but I don't know if that was because she really felt that way or she was scared of how he was gonna react.
Probably a little bit of both, don't you think?
I mean, I'm sure she was uncomfortable, especially in the LDS religion.
Like, you're taught you don't do those things, you don't see those things, you don't... Okay, but can we talk about him gambling as he's like ripping her apart?It's so hypocritical.Oh my gosh.
Especially in the LDS religion.
I'm like, you are literally gambling. your allowance.She's like the breadwinner.I'm like, Oh my gosh.But since all this has obviously surfaced and the season is over, I think they've gotten about a lot of backlash.
And I would never be like, Oh, I hope she leaves him.Cause I, I don't like, I hope to break up.No, like I hope that they can learn and grow and
Yeah, like not to say he should let his wife go to any Chip and Dale's, Magic Mike, Strip Club, whatever, but just to have, I don't know, enough maturity and trust to be like, okay, not ideal, but okay.
Yeah.The maturity to trust her because if he really trusts her, he knows that she wouldn't do anything.
right and so if he you know so that needs to be earned that needs to be that needs to grow and i think because they're so young and they haven't been married for very long hopefully with time and just like his family background it seems like they're they're just very yeah and she said that they've gone to they've gone to counseling which counseling is the best thing that could ever happen to a marriage like steve and i have gone
Everyone needs to go to counseling.Everyone needs to go to counseling.
Steve and I, you know, after her big last stint and we went to individual and couples counseling, we both said like when our kids get married, we are, that's what we are gifting them as their marriage gift is a year paid for for counseling.
That is so smart.Because they'll teach you the tools how to communicate, how to react.
Because now, I mean, we've been married for 16 years and we're going back and having to relearn behaviors, relearn like that wasn't right, that wasn't appropriate, that wasn't a good reaction.
Or how you feel like you can have a disagreement and not feel on the verge of divorce.
And how to communicate about it.Yeah.And so we want to gift that to our kids of like, learn that in your first year of marriage so hopefully your whole married life you can have a good relationship, you know?So smart.
Anyway, so I'm hoping that between counseling between them they're working through these issues.Yes.And hopefully he can figure his shit out because that was just gross.
I think so.I think they're learning.
On a more lighter note, have you seen, they're trying to figure out if this whole Ben Affleck relation is real.Oh, yes.And people are saying it's not.Yeah.
But that wouldn't be, like, would that be something he learned from genealogy from the LDS church?Would that be something that he was told by his parents?Or did he just make it up?
I don't know either.I need to know.
But now that it's so public, I'm just like,
But also now, Jan and Ben Affleck are getting divorced, so that's not good either.
I mean, yeah.I don't know.

I feel like I've been kind of, well, I've been in my own little hole the last couple of weeks.
OK, so here's something to know about me.
Yeah, tell me.I'm a conspiracy theorist.Oh, I already knew that, yes.
OK. I mean, we're going to keep it light.We're not going to get into a lot, but Hollywood is sick, okay?And I've known this for years.Hollywood is so sick.And so this didn't surprise me one bit.
What grosses me out, what makes me so mad is that we were just watching something that there's like 150 counts against him, that this one lawyer is taking all these cases, building this case of all of these plaintiffs.Is that what they're called?Yes.
Against him. And the thing that makes me so mad is these victims, after it would happen, they would go to the police.They would tell people, and nothing was done.Nothing.It's because he's famous.I know.
And it's sickening that these famous people get away with it because they're famous.
Do you think it will be as public as the Johnny Depp?Yes.
Because you loved that.Oh, I loved the Johnny Depp.I was so invested.I watched every court case.I watched everything.
You did my nails. When I was going watching it.Yeah.Yeah.I mean, I was into it too.
So I was like, I'm gonna watch your nose, but we have to watch court.Okay.No, I will fully be watching it.And it may, I don't know if they will though, because there's so many plaintiffs. I know that's the thing.
It's not just two people against each other.Yeah.I may be like slaughtering.That may not be what a plaintiff means, but the, the victims, it's all gotta be sealed.
I don't think that they'll release their identities.Some of them are minors, right?
So they won't release those names.
So I don't know if it will be like stream live, like the Johnny Depp case, but I definitely will try and stay updated on it as much as possible.I hope he goes away forever.This is so sick.Yeah. I mean, what was there?

yes and there's a whole conspiracy about why but we're not going to get into that but yeah it happens and it's gross and it's disgusting the thing that bothers me is like all growing up like everybody like we i would idolize hollywood is kind of a strong word but it's almost like we all love our movies we all love our songs especially us 90s
yes and so you know like the whole nickelodeon scandal like there was so much that happened but we love our tv shows we love our movies we love all these things and i know people personally that they like idolize celebrities like these celebrities can do no wrong and to me that it's just it can't be that way anymore like we have to start realizing how evil hollywood is and
I just, you know, and I don't believe like everybody in Hollywood, like every single actor, but I think the majority of them, they sleep their way to the top, they do what they need to do to get famous and Oh yeah, it's all about the money.Yep.
So, I don't know.It's a sick world.

it's crazy seeing some of the videos on social media that are going around it like the befores and afters of what was it asherville ashville no what was it okay there was a little town it's gone gone like i cannot imagine i cannot either and then people were like boarding up their windows like the whole second bottom floor clear up to their second floor
I just, oh, it's so, so sad.

Do you know which one I'm talking about?No, I don't.The one where the, I don't know, a reporter or someone asked him, like, what was it?Basically, are there any more resources we can do to help these people?
And he was like, no, we've given them everything we, we can give them.

millions of dollars of dollars oh my gosh don't even get me started i know and i just like he's so checked out oh yeah he's like he's so old and naive and just stupid anyways but i know Um, yeah, we have nothing to give them.
I'm like, really though?They need so much, but it was like the Hawaii fires.They didn't give hardly anything to them.They gave them what?$700 per family or something like that.
People just lost their homes, cars, like jobs, everything.
Oh, it's sickening.Cause they're just, they're not doing anything for these poor families that have lost everything, but you can keep sending billions of dollars across seas.
But yeah, I feel so sad for all those families.And it's not just one state.It was multiple states that were affected by this.

Just doing lots of sports.We're almost done with soccer.But you guys started flag football?Yeah.Flag football is like in the middle.Yeah.And then we're starting competitive basketball too.So Steve coaches my oldest in a competitive basketball team.
Okay.My second is already on a competitive basketball team.And then my third, Steve's starting a team for him.
Well, because it's certain age ranges, right?And they, at their ages, they only have six, seven, eight, nine players, more on the lower end.So they get more playing time.Well, there's only so many competitive teams.
And so if you, you can start, you can be a coach and then you just have to sign up for the leagues to compete in.
But, and so he's, so for my oldest, he's held, you know, tryouts, kids come try out, and then if they make it, then he just signs up for leagues, and then they just go and play.
So he's doing the same for my third.
Does he like doing that? I think he does.Old Steve.I was going to say, Steve, it seems like that would fit him.
Yeah, he's very sports.Old Steve, it was really hard to watch because he was more rough and tough and yell.Oh, yeah.New Steve is a really good coach.Can be chill.Yeah. And not to say that he doesn't, he doesn't yell at the players.
He raises his voice so he can, they are heard.There's a difference.But also that, you know, my middle schooler, he's like, I have two years to get these kids ready for high school.Yeah.
And it's a different world in high school.Oh, for sure.Especially in your area.Cause it's very different in your area than it is in my area.My kids could literally walk onto the high school team.
In Utah, where we live, it's funny, but sad.
Yeah.Where we live, if you're not starting in competitive sport by five.Like you're done.You're done.Like the, the baseball team that there's a competitive baseball team that my, it's like ages eight and nine.
If you're not on that team right now, all of those kids that are on that really good team right now will continue to age up, age up.Yeah.And they will be the high school team.
So it's like you have to get in at such a young age, which is so hard, because no eight-year-old knows exactly, well most, don't know exactly what sport they want to play.But you can't be in all five, like you have to pick.
So it's really hard, but yeah, Steve really likes it, and my boys like it.He just is spread too thin sometimes, but what do you do?
It's good for kids to be in sports though.It gives them something to do.Yeah.
Yes.Yeah.And it keeps you busy.
It does.I like living my card.
I don't know how you, I know, I'm just thinking, I don't know how you do all the running around because I have two in sports and I'm like, freak.What was I thinking?
Well, it definitely helps that we have family.So, you know, and both my parents are retired.Steve's mom's retired and they're close.So if we need help, also like the flag football, it's flag football.It's not like serious football.
That's more like for funsies.
Yeah.So they can miss if they have to, or, you know, we have friends on each of the teams, so we can be like, Hey, will you pick them up?
You know, I like to be to as much as I can, but it's, yeah, it's, we're really lucky to have family that live close that can help us do it all.Yeah. So, what sports are your kids in?Basketball?
Oh, cross country.Football and Swayze does cross country.That's so fun.She loves it and hates it at the same time.And is Ashley not in a sport?She did softball, but that season is over.
So she's just hanging out for a minute and then I don't know if she'll do another sport.I kind of just let my kids pick and choose.I'm like, we live in such a small area that they really can do whatever sport they want.
But yeah, just those two right now.
Yeah, that's pretty chill.
Yeah, not too bad.And then my little, my two little boys will start soccer here soon, so indoor soccer.Oh, soccer's so fun.I love it.They're just at a hard age where I'm like, you guys know nothing.They just chase the ball around.I know, and Kai.
Oh, bless his heart.He just thinks things are funny that are not funny.And I'm like, pay attention, pay attention, come on.But I'm like not the yelling kind of parent either.I'm just like, whatever.If you want to be a dick off, you do you.
And then when the coach is yelling at him, I'm like, maybe you should listen.Yeah.

but they're really loving it, so.
I canned salsa last week.
Oh, yes.For your first time, right?
For the first time, yep.I have a friend who I always get salsa from her because it's delicious.Mandy, it's the best salsa ever.Shout out to Mandy.And so I got her recipe. And it was so, it was fun.
I went over to my mother-in-law's, we cut peppers and onions all day.It was so fun.Well, I ran out of time.And so I got everything cut and mixed.So then I took it in my big pot home, put it in my fridge.
The next morning I got it out and then I started to warm up the salsa at my house.And then as it was warming up, I was like prepping all my bottles, doing, you know, boiling the lids and whatever. So I started instead of pressure cooking the bottles.
We just put them in hot water and then it seals them Yeah, anyway, I had put my big pot on the stove and I had turned it up high too and it's a gas stove I turned it up high to go and do someone's toes and And I went in the front room.
I saw this in your stories.I went in the front room, did her toes, came out, and I was standing by the sink, and I was like, oh my heck.So the fire was so big, it was coming out from underneath the pot.The flame.
Yeah, the flame coming out from underneath the pot, and it was burning my counter.Next to your stove.There is a whole chunk of my counter burnt.It's like melted.Oh my gosh.And my counters are the kind that are heat resistant, right?
So I can set a hot pan on it, and it's fine.Is it like a stone? I don't know.OK.But it's not fireproof.Right.And this was like direct fire on it. Ooh, it's Steve Mad, and I don't blame him.
It's a very expensive fix, and it is only probably a foot of counter from- It's that much, though?
A foot, yeah, and then from the front to the back, and so we're gonna have to replace that whole piece, and my house was built 20 years ago, I have no idea if I can- No, you're not gonna be able to match it, no.
But if I could find something close, but oh boy. That was an expensive batch of salsa, I would say.But it's delicious.It's so good.Hashtag worth it.Hashtag worth it.Thank you, Mandy.Yeah, it's so good.Luckily, the whole experience wasn't awful.
I would do it again.If you do it again, you need to do it on a camp chef outside.
That's what Mandy does, and I should have listened to her, but I didn't.
But I also don't have a gas stove.Oh, so that's why we do it outside.
Yeah, yeah, mine's a gas stove, so I didn't think anything of it, because I was like, well, why get my camp chef out if I can just do it on my stove?But now I know why.

I do two batches, so one is spicy, one's not.So I'll bring- do you like spicy?

Okay.My recipe called for 24 jalapenos.
And it made, oh, it made like 38 pints and 8 quarts.Mm-hmm. So I thought, out of my 24 jalapenos, I'm like, well, I'll take the seeds out of half of them.And it's not that hot.So now I'm regretting it like I should have.
I started leaving the seeds in all of mine because I'm like, every year my husband, Caden, is like, can it be more spicy?
Yeah, so now I don't know.
I'm like, I don't know how to make this any more spice.I don't know.Unless you put cayenne pepper in it, right?Mine calls for cayenne pepper.
Oh, it does?Mine doesn't.
Yes, but I guess I need to put more.I don't know.
But yeah, we'll trade a bottle and see.We'll swap.
I love salsa.Again, chips and salsa.Me, chips and salsa.
So much better than pumpkin spice.I mean, I like pumpkin spice too, but.Ew, the only pumpkin thing I like is pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Okay.Yes, and I have a texture problem and so with food you did not know this about me.
Oh I can't eat mashed potatoes.Yeah, I can't eat pumpkin pie and I can't eat pie cheesecake anything mushy really?Cookies with the warm cookie with ice cream.Oh, no.Okay, you're weird.Oh Anything mushy like that, I can't eat it.
I love all those things.Oh, I wish I, well, I mean, I save a lot of calories, but Thanksgiving is the worst holiday because everything's mushy.Yeah, because that's potatoes, pie.Yeah.All of it.Yams.I eat turkey and rolls.
My parents used to order me pizza on Thanksgiving.Shut up.Yeah. Oh my gosh.Because everything is nasty.Anyway.
Your brands are nice, because if my kids don't like something, I'd be like, I'm sorry, I guess you can make a sandwich?I don't know.
Yeah, I've learned now.Mean mom.My father-in-law, he started saving me a potato.So then he'll cook me a baked potato.Oh, so you'll eat like a baked potato, just not mashed.Yeah, it's really weird.I don't even understand it, because I like cake.
And cake is kind of mushy.
But cake is like spongy, though.See, yeah.
