Director Susan Schoaps, with actors Shay Hasse and Ken Hermens, share the challenges and rewards of creating the crazy comic chaos of a theatre troupe’s opening night disaster — where the props don’t work, the set has a mind of its own and the stalwart actors and technicians are unprepared for the mayhem.
