We’re joined on the Starline by one of a singing family popular in the 70’s. The Cowsills have defined harmonies long before anyone else even thought of it. Their newest EP is “A Christmas Time offering from the Cowsills”. We welcome Paul Cowsill.

Paul, let’s go Beyond the Mic. The documentary “Family Band: The Cowsills Story” talks about your band’s rise and fall. There’s no need to bring up the emotional, mental and physical abuse you suffered at the hands of your father. I want to know if the holidays are such a special time for you and your family?

What makes recording again invigorating to you?

You’ve been challenged again and again and you and your family keep bouncing back. How resilient has this family have to have been over these decades? This family just doesn’t give up.
