DC’s current Alan Scott: The Green Lantern mini-series seeks recontextualize the history of the first Green Lantern. How well does it work as a retcon? Does it fit the character? Will it necessarily erase more than it gains for the sake of diversity and inclusion? It’s a delicate subject and I hope to present a balanced perspective on this topic.
