With their respective degrees in chemical engineering—Victoria’s from The University of California San Diego and Gloria’s from Cornell—they both independently secured a career in the beauty industry. After deciding that neither wanted to pursue a career in traditional engineering, they both separately were granted positions as skincare chemists at L’Oreal, where, serendipitously, they met as cubicle mates. After much thought and consideration, they decided to leave L’Oreal to collaborate on what started as a modest IG account, and has now developed a robust following with over 145k followers, myself included!
