When speaking about where the word avocado came from Amy made mention that the word “avocado” has an interesting and somewhat amusing origin. It comes from the Nahuatl word “āhuacatl,” which translates to “testicle.” {I'm just happy she didn't invite me over for guacamole!} 🤣
