Yesterday, we were in Washington, D.C., and we missed some major news, the Daniel Penney news in particular. Blake, thank you for filling in. You did a great job at that breaking news hour.

00:01:54 Speaker_01
I have a lot to say about that, but I need to really kind of combine my thoughts. I'm going to get to the more breaking news, though, but it is phenomenal news that Daniel Penney walks free. They're still going to go after him, by the way.

00:02:05 Speaker_01
They're still going to go after him on civil charges. So he's not completely out of the woods. However, criminally, it is a major win for justice and the American way of life.

00:02:17 Speaker_01
The suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO shooter has been apprehended after a week-long manhunt. This is one of the weirdest stories that we've seen in quite some time and one of the saddest.

00:02:28 Speaker_01
The suspected shooter, Luigi Mangione, was spotted at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Police arrived and they found he was using the same fake ID that was used by the shooter.

00:02:39 Speaker_01
They also found a silenced pistol with him, which they described as a ghost gun, a gun assembled from parts purchased online.

00:02:46 Speaker_01
Mangione had a short 262 word note, similar to a brief manifesto, reminds you almost of the Unabomber manifesto, which attacked companies that, quote, continue to abuse our country for immense, immense profit because the American public has allowed them to get away with it, unquote.

00:03:03 Speaker_01
The fact pattern of this story is really remarkable. Mangione, the supposed downtrodden hero of the working class, is from a very well-off family in Maryland and attended an Ivy League school, the University of Pennsylvania.

00:03:17 Speaker_01
Brian Thompson, the man he murdered in cold blood, was the son of a farm worker and went to Iowa State. So why did he do it? Why did he kill this CEO in cold blood?

00:03:29 Speaker_01
We're sure to learn a lot more, but from scouring Mangione's social media profile, we've learned a lot. Mangione appears to have been a person of immense promise. He was a high school valedictorian and had an Ivy League degree in computer science.

00:03:45 Speaker_01
As a young man, he doesn't seem to have been that far left of a radical. In fact, he seems to have been politically centrist. But then something went terribly wrong.

00:03:54 Speaker_01
Mangione was supposed to participate in a friend's wedding this fall when he suddenly vanished and stopped speaking even to his family and friends. According to his friends, Mangione had a dramatic personality change after undergoing back surgery.

00:04:11 Speaker_01
He also posted about experimenting with psychedelic drugs. Really a bad idea. This whole new rise of ketamine and LSD-laced psychedelics is a bad, bad trend in our country. I do not support it.

00:04:26 Speaker_01
All of a sudden the street drugs of the 1960s are considered to be legitimate. prescriptions and alternatives, it's a bad idea.

00:04:34 Speaker_01
So one possibility is that he underwent surgery and used psychedelic drugs to try and manage the pain and instead had a psychotic break that ended in murder.

00:04:45 Speaker_01
Internet users have also read through his Goodreads page, which lists hundreds of books that he's read over the years. One of those, by the way, was Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance. But the more interesting one was The One by The Unabomber.

00:04:59 Speaker_01
Ted Kaczynski, otherwise known as the Unabomber Manifesto. Now, interestingly, if it's true that Mangione was poisoning himself with psychedelics, he had a lot in common with Ted Kaczynski. Ted Kaczynski was also a victim of poisoning.

00:05:17 Speaker_01
Of course, by the Central Intelligence Agency. The Unabomber's manifesto is famous on the American right, because it sends quite a bit of time attacking modern liberals. It accuses them of hating the West.

00:05:29 Speaker_01
Remember, Kaczynski was also a genius as well, and justifying all kinds of evils as a result. We've certainly seen that to be true.

00:05:37 Speaker_01
But the manifesto also attacking modern big business and industrial society in general, accusing it of breaking down human relationships. alienating us from one another and wrecking the environment and so on.

00:05:49 Speaker_01
Ultimately, the Unabomber believed that tearing down all of modern society was needed to save humanity. It's a radical work and one that, if taken seriously, could lead a person to commit terrorism.

00:06:02 Speaker_01
In this case, at least, it seemed to have actually happened. Now, the deeper we dive into this, the more dark we see the picture of Mangione. What would lead him to do something like this? Well, it could be an insurance claim.

00:06:19 Speaker_01
It could be this belief that the insurance industry is inherently awful or evil. However, allow me to mention something that I've seen from the outside, which I am simply a reporter on this, and I find it to be very disturbing.

00:06:36 Speaker_01
The widespread internet reaction of the lack of remorse for the death of this CEO is very noteworthy. This CEO Brian Thompson did not deserve to be murdered in the street at all. Not everyone necessarily agrees with that.

00:06:57 Speaker_01
There has been there are thousands if not tens of thousands of people that are celebrating the death of Brian Thompson, the death penalty with no pre trial due process. Now vigilante justice in this way is completely wrong. However,

00:07:15 Speaker_01
Let's just take a step back and say, what is it that would drive the American people to believe that Brian Thompson, not the American people, but some people, enough where it's noteworthy, okay, not some fringe on the internet, to believe that a CEO and a father of two who's doing his job deserves to be murdered.

00:07:34 Speaker_01
And it is a deeper and darker picture into how broken health insurance is in this country. In some ways, of course, this is a mental health issue. This guy's obviously been all psychedelic up.

00:07:45 Speaker_01
Very, very high IQ and with an altered brain could be very, very evil. But I'm just struck by how many people aren't upset and not sad that this CEO was murdered. That this CEO, because they say that, well, my claim was not filled.

00:08:06 Speaker_01
My claim was not taken. And that's another very difficult takeaway from this entire saga. People are even review bombing the McDonald's where Mangione was arrested, saying that it was full of rats. So what does this mean for our culture, our society?

00:08:24 Speaker_01
It will go down as one of the most perplexing stories in 2024.

00:08:27 Speaker_01
The CEO goes to a shareholder meeting and Mangione, who obviously did his research, he assumed he was going to be there and we still don't yet know how he knew he was going to be there at that very specific time.

00:08:42 Speaker_01
Mangione is likely going to spend the rest of his life in prison. And, I mean, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare had death threats. I get death threats all the time. Didn't have personal security with him, and that's too bad.

00:08:55 Speaker_01
But for millions of people to react, and of course, Mangione is innocent until proven guilty. He's a suspect, not convicted. All those proper prerequisites and important things to note.

00:09:10 Speaker_01
caveats if the if even a small portion of the population is Thrilled that a CEO or I mean celebrating saying the CEO deserved it What does that mean? There's something else deeper going on here Not let me be perfectly clear.

00:09:28 Speaker_01
The CEO did not deserve it. This guy should go to jail for the rest of his life I'm simply observing the reaction as a curious onlooker saying what is this? This is strange and I mean, I think it's terrible.

00:09:39 Speaker_01
I think it's a tragedy that a father of two and a guy in a replaceable CEO role just gets murdered in cold blood. I think it's awful.

00:09:47 Speaker_01
But we need to think about this and ask ourselves the question less about the Mangione, because I think we have a picture about that. It's psychedelics. It's the Ayahuasca crowd. That stuff will drive you nuts. It's not good.

00:09:59 Speaker_01
I think there's a deeper thing at play here worth some examination. Just understand that I believe in the book of Romans or Philippians, there is a prohibition on the Greek word called pharmakia, which is exactly what this guy used.

00:10:17 Speaker_01
And I believe it is a gateway to the demonic and the underworld. Do not play around with that stuff, everybody. It is bad across the board.

In the meantime, I want to talk about the power of this audience, and that will be a perfect segue into our conversation with Senator Eric Schmidt. A week ago, it looked as if Pete Hegseth was not going to survive.

00:12:37 Speaker_01
It looked as if Pete Hegseth was going to be pulled and people were even saying that it was going to be Ron DeSantis as the replacement. You guys were the avant-garde of the response. We called on this program for a red line. We said it repeatedly.

00:12:56 Speaker_01
We said that if you do not confirm Donald Trump's cabinet, We will not allow you guys to continue in the U.S. Senate. We turned Rana into a verb. We said you are going to get Rana'd.

00:13:13 Speaker_01
That if you continue to say that you guys are supreme to the executive branch, we're not going to let that happen. And of course center stage was Joni Ernst. And Joni Ernst is now saying she's going to vote for Pete Hegseth. So we are, we're good.

00:13:28 Speaker_01
We're just going to kind of lay off of Joni Ernst and allow that to continue. Thank you, Joni, for your support. And if things change, there will be a primary campaign visiting your town sometime soon. But for the time being,

00:13:40 Speaker_01
You're doing what we asked and we thank you for that. Donald Trump won the mandate. The American people won the mandate. There was a referendum. We do not want Lloyd Austin, who you voted for, Joni. We do not want Merrick Garland.

00:13:51 Speaker_01
We do not want Alejandro Mayorkas. So therefore, let's get the alternative cabinet. And Pete Hegseth has just been a gentleman. He is playing offense on this. And I give Pete Hegseth great odds to be confirmed. That is the power of this audience.

00:14:06 Speaker_01
That is the power of all of you that stepped up and decided to hold the line for President Trump. 55% of Americans say Trump has a mandate. Only 32% say he does not per recent polling. This is much tougher than the old Tea Party. We organize faster.

00:14:21 Speaker_01
We understand the terrain. We navigate it better. We isolate targets better. And again, I've said this all along, it's nothing against Senator Ernst. We're done with that. She's over. What is the next person standing in the way? We'll find out.

00:14:36 Speaker_01
Our movement is more courageous. We are more muscular. We are more capable to be able to hold the line and get people across the finish line. And we are the media. You are the media.

00:14:45 Speaker_01
It's no longer the New York Times or the Washington Post or CNN or MSNBC. It's none of that nonsense. No, we are the media here on this broadcast. You are the media here on this broadcast. Together, we are the media. We set the terms.

00:14:58 Speaker_01
We set the tone for engagement and we adapt. We grow stronger. So Pete Hegseth just looked done a week ago to anyone on the outside. Oh, we're going to pull it for DeSantis and I don't know who's doing this. And we held the line.

00:15:13 Speaker_01
We found out who was doing it. We named the names and we flushed it out. We flushed this one out, everybody.

00:15:20 Speaker_01
We were, this program, all of you in the Charlie Kirk show audience, which is why when you guys become a member, members.charliekirk.com, you guys are part of the vanguard. You guys are part of the forefront. CNN only averages 260,000 viewers per day.

00:15:38 Speaker_01
The Charlie Kirk Show has more viewers and more watches by far than CNN. And it's not even close. It is not even close.

00:15:45 Speaker_01
Podcasting, X-streaming, Rumble streaming, YouTube clipping, Facebook clipping, Instagram podcasting, radio, Real America's Voice, not even close. Far more powerful than CNN. Far more.

00:15:58 Speaker_01
And not to mention the billions that we reached on social media this last semester on TikTok and other platforms. Pete Hegseth

00:16:07 Speaker_01
It's not there yet, but he's likely to get confirmed thanks to all of you who held the line and had the president's and Pete's back. Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:16:17 Speaker_01
If you ever had a doubt that there's a war on the unborn, you now know beyond a doubt that is the case.

00:16:21 Speaker_01
It'd be easy to give up, but you know I'll never give up on giving the truth to girls and women who the other side want to choose death for their baby.

I'm standing for life no matter what the other side says, and we're going to save more babies than ever before to show them that truth will win out. It can only be shared with girls and women who will make the right choice.

I'm a donor and you should be a donor as well. Go to charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner. Joining us now is an excellent man in the U.S. Senate, one of the few, Senator Eric Schmidt from the great state of Missouri.

00:17:26 Speaker_01
Senator, welcome to the program. There has been a lot of drama recently around Senate confirmations, including Pete Hegseth. What would you give Pete Hegseth's chances of now being confirmed? And walk us through some of the events of the last week.

00:17:38 Speaker_00
I think he's got a great chance. And I think the vibes are strong. I met with him last week. I'm on the Armed Services Committee. Pete's a great pick.

00:17:48 Speaker_00
And you look at the sort of the electrical cord that runs across all of these picks, Charlie, you've talked about it a bunch, is that They're all disruptors. They're all reformers. President Trump ran on this. He talked about it for well over a year.

00:17:59 Speaker_00
He held rallies all across the country. He talked about disrupting the status quo in Washington, and that's exactly what he's doing with these picks. Our conversations centered around reforms within the Pentagon. We've got to be nimbler. We've got to be

00:18:13 Speaker_00
smarter. One of the big advantages we've always had against our adversaries like China is that we're innovators and China copies.

00:18:19 Speaker_00
Well, if you have a Pentagon that's completely, you know, this bureaucratic mess, we're not going to innovate very well moving forward. He talked about that, eliminating DEI once and for all in the Pentagon. We've got some wins.

00:18:31 Speaker_00
I've sponsored, had a hiring freeze, but you really need somebody at the top to lead that cultural kind of change to get back to war fighting. And instead of all these social experiments, this racist DEI. So he's a smart guy.

00:18:44 Speaker_00
He's going to do a great job. And I think he's going to get through. I think, honestly, I think they're all going to get through because senators, I think, appreciate, I hope they do. It's certainly something I talk about.

00:18:58 Speaker_00
President Trump won with that mandate. He won the popular vote. He swept the battleground states. It's unprecedented.

00:19:03 Speaker_00
It's the greatest political comeback in American history, and he deserves to have a team around him that wants to execute on his vision.

00:19:10 Speaker_01
So, Senator, there's some whispers that the NDAA, which is this big bloated thing that gets passed, could potentially tie Pete Hegseth's and Doge's hands. Educate our audience on what the NDAA is.

00:19:24 Speaker_01
Do you guys need to pass it as this monstrosity before we add a couple more Senate seats and take the majority? Please walk us through the details on the NDAA.

00:19:32 Speaker_00
Yeah. So the NDA is the National Defense Authorization Act. It's passed every year and essentially authorizes how we allocate resources to protect our country. Right. So, um, you know, what do you want to spend money on?

00:19:42 Speaker_00
Do you, you know, are you spending money on, you know, the air force for this, or are you spending money for the Navy for that? Um, we have real challenges right now. I'll tell you, China has a bigger Navy than we have.

00:19:53 Speaker_00
It's not a better Navy, but it's a bigger Navy. We've got supply chain issues. We got production problems. And so the NDA is sort of a statement on the things, that we care about as relates to our national defense. It's about $800 billion a year.

00:20:06 Speaker_00
That's what it is this year. And so it's something we do. I think there's a lot of big wins in this NDAA as relates to DEI getting rid of some of this censorship enterprise that was embedded by the Biden administration.

00:20:21 Speaker_00
But we're going to crack at this next year. And my hope is that we have an administration, and we will, that's very much reform-minded.

00:20:30 Speaker_00
But the NDA is something that every year we sort of put our stamp on what are our priorities that relates to the national defense. And I did talk to Pete about that. I think he's coming in.

00:20:40 Speaker_00
And what I would say is, and you know this to be true, the audience, We'll know this to be true. The legislative branch plays a very important role with appropriating and oversight, but you have to have true believers leading those organizations.

00:20:55 Speaker_00
It's the reason why we got into this goofy DEI stuff in the first place. It was political. It was meant to send some sort of virtue signal. It's hurt recruiting. The Navy's recruiting is down.

00:21:06 Speaker_00
They fired over 6,000 well-qualified men and women from the armed forces because they refused to get the COVID shot. I mean, this stuff is nuts.

00:21:15 Speaker_00
So you really do need leadership that's going to change it culturally beyond just any legislation that we would pass or not pass.

00:21:21 Speaker_01
So there were some whispers last night. I don't need to get too deep into this, but that Schumer is doing some last minute stuff to try to protect the National Labor Relations Board from Trump. They can file cloture. They can force it through.

00:21:34 Speaker_01
I know that it's a kind of a wonky thing. I want you just to comment on that. But more broadly, I mean, we are now three weeks out from the Senate majority flipping because it happens on January 3rd.

00:21:45 Speaker_01
What last minute sneaky things do we have to be worried about from Chuck Schumer in the United States Senate?

00:21:51 Speaker_00
Yeah, the good news is we're only here for the rest of this week and next week. So there's a limited amount of time for Chuck Schumer to do shenanigans. I think we're about done. I think we kind of know the federal judges that he's going to appoint.

00:22:03 Speaker_00
He's got a limited number he can do on the district court level. There's not going to be any more. circuit level, meaning appellate judges, that's a win.

00:22:10 Speaker_00
There's like four more that President Trump's going to get when he comes in because they have their own attendance issues. But we got to make sure we show up. The NLRB stuff is a great example. These are five-year positions.

00:22:24 Speaker_00
It's a five-member board that decides a lot of potential disputes between business and labor and might have a role to play, quite frankly, with when President Trump wants to come in. and have a reform agenda.

00:22:36 Speaker_00
And if you're not willing to show up to work, you probably shouldn't have a job in this town, right? So this is an important board. It's important, I think, that we try to knock these people out. I'm not going to support either one of them.

00:22:46 Speaker_00
Those votes are coming this week, but we've got to, to the extent we can beat them. We don't have the numbers if everybody shows up, but you don't know that until everybody shows up. We got to all vote no on these, I think, to sort of beat this back.

00:22:56 Speaker_01
Yeah, I mean, also, I mean, You got some bitter Democrats. Jon Tester just might not show up. I mean, you got some guys that, I mean, literally Jon Tester's telling reporters, I'm gonna get the hell out of here, right?

00:23:07 Speaker_01
And so he's, you know, feels forgotten in some ways, Sherrod Brown. So you don't know that, right? It's just you don't know who actually might show up and who won't. So the Senate majority will convene in early January.

00:23:19 Speaker_01
I've had you on this topic before, Senator. It's worth refreshing. I know you're getting this question a lot. So what

00:23:25 Speaker_01
Have you guys started to go through committee hearings and scheduling votes from January the 3rd before January 20th so that we can start to get Trump's cabinet within hours of swearing in?

00:23:36 Speaker_00
Yeah, so I think the idea is, and our committees are going to come out, they're actually working on the composition because we've got new members coming in. I would expect Charlie either later this week

00:23:47 Speaker_00
Worst case, next week, our committees will be set, which will be an important first step. And then I think you'll see the committee chairman start to announce committee hearings right when we're back. And you're right.

00:23:58 Speaker_00
We don't, we should not wait until January 20th. Let's get rolling. I met with Pam Bondi actually today. Pam is a great friend. Pam is going to be an incredible attorney general.

00:24:08 Speaker_00
she's going to restore, I think, respect to an agency that completely has lost its way, has been overtly politicized. Kash Patel, you know, I'll be meeting with Kash soon. He's going to do a great job at the FBI.

00:24:18 Speaker_00
So you've got all this great team, but we've got to get them in place. So I think the idea is at the beginning of January, as quickly as we can, let's start scheduling these hearings.

00:24:26 Speaker_00
Let's start getting votes so that President Trump has his team in place as quickly as possible. That is the goal.

00:24:32 Speaker_01
So you can't, you can get them out of committee before January 20th. Can you confirm them before January the 20th?

00:24:38 Speaker_00
Yeah, theoretically, because the new Congress is sworn in on January 3rd, the new members are sworn in. We come back in earnest really that next week, whatever that is, January 6th. That's when we begin our work.

00:24:54 Speaker_00
So they're, they're sworn in on the 3rd, the new members, January 6, we come in and then it's go time. Right. And so my position would be, Let's like that first week, like, let's not wait. There's no organizing to do anymore.

00:25:06 Speaker_00
Everybody's been had their committee assignments. Let's roll. And so, yes, we can have the committee hearings. We can vote them out of committee. We can vote on the floor. I mean, there's some timing issues there about, you know.

00:25:17 Speaker_00
Uh, but, but we're not talking about a very long time. So I think in January, uh, and even in early February, let's get going. But to my look, if we can get everybody done by January 20th, I would love to do it.

00:25:28 Speaker_00
Um, but at a minimum, let's just start, let's get the hearing set. Let's air this stuff out. Let's let the American people see all these great picks that president Trump has offered up now. And, uh, let's get going.

00:25:38 Speaker_01
Yeah, that's really instructive and helpful. That didn't happen back in 2017, though. In fact, Donald Trump did not even get his attorney general till early February. I mean, it was a very prolonged process.

00:25:51 Speaker_01
What is Senate Majority Leader Thune doing differently in a good way that prior Senate leadership has not done?

00:25:57 Speaker_00
Yeah, so I wasn't here in 2017. I was AG in Missouri in that era. But Senator Thune has made clear. We had a meeting last week with our Senate conference, and President Trump joined in by phone. We were very unified about having a sense of urgency.

00:26:20 Speaker_00
And to me, this is what I'm telling my colleagues. We do not get these opportunities very often.

00:26:24 Speaker_00
I mean, the idea that we have a Republican White House, a Republican House, a Republican Senate, that people work so hard, your listeners, you, everybody across the country works so hard for this. We cannot be back on our heels.

00:26:35 Speaker_00
We have to move an agenda forward that's reflective of what the American people wanted, getting key people into these positions. I also think by way, we ought to move immediately on

00:26:46 Speaker_00
I don't want to get too wonky, but reconciliation is a way that if it's tax related, there's budget savings. We only need 51 votes in the Senate. You don't have to deal with the 60 vote threshold. Let's get some big wins early for President Trump.

00:26:58 Speaker_00
Let's deal with the border. Let's deal with energy. The tax cuts that President Trump got in in 2017 will expire at the end of the year. We should do that quickly, but let's not, in my view, let's get some big wins and some points on the board early.

00:27:13 Speaker_00
We can deal with those tax provisions, you know, throughout the year too and get those done. But I think that's the way to do this because the American people are going to be watching. They're going to see the flurry of executive orders.

00:27:23 Speaker_00
There's a lot president Trump can do on day one, but there are some things that we need to be able to do. And I think we need to move quickly.

00:27:29 Speaker_01
Very good. Senator, thank you so much for your time. Really appreciate it. And we'll have it on again soon. Thank you.

00:29:24 Speaker_01
Tulsi Gabbard woos the defense hawks in her first hill visit, Politico.com writes. The former Democrat on Monday opened her campaign to win Senate support as the next director of national intelligence.

00:29:35 Speaker_01
Now, I think the world of Tulsi, she's become a great friend. She is just extraordinary. What's really going on here?

00:29:42 Speaker_01
Well, a lot of these senators, like Senator Rounds, who we very well might end up priming, doesn't look exactly like the most thrilled guy in this picture.

00:29:51 Speaker_01
Now, this might have been just kind of, you know, caught him in a bad, candid moment, and it could just be a very misleading aesthetic, or It could actually capture the essence of what's going on here. And I just love this picture.

00:30:07 Speaker_01
I mean, this is like one of the highest forms of art because it's truth. He has a picture, of course, of a guy fencing hunting in South Dakota, a reminder that he has to still respond to his voters. But there he is. He's kind of working looking.

00:30:20 Speaker_01
very queasily at the press. Mike Rounds does not want to vote for Tulsi Gabbard. Mike Rounds is an intel guy. He wants whatever the regime wants to spy and to subvert and overthrow.

00:30:33 Speaker_01
Mike Rounds would be the guy that would be flying the Syrian resistance flag. Mike Rounds is a neocon. He is a war hawk. Tulsi Gabbard is not. Tulsi Gabbard is an American patriot. She wants America to be safe.

00:30:46 Speaker_01
She wants to be able to fight radical Islamic terrorism. She wants to be able to have strong and lethal fighting force. She does not want to have nation building or regime change or over configuration with abstractions abroad.

00:30:59 Speaker_01
Tulsi Gabbard says, quote, I want to address the issue that's in the headlines right now. I stand in full support and wholeheartedly agree with the statements that President Trump has made the last few days with regards to the developments in Syria.

00:31:08 Speaker_01
President Trump said, quote, Syria's a mess and the United States should have nothing to do with it. He was also very morally clear about how Assad is not a good dude, but the rebels are far worse. They're both bad.

00:31:19 Speaker_01
And look, Senator Rounds better get with the program. And he is. I mean, look at this. Look how happy he looks. Put that picture up. He just looks thrilled. I mean, he's just, that's 10 out of 10 right there. I mean, he's just ready.

00:31:31 Speaker_01
He is just, he's going to champion that whole thing. He's ready to go. And look, I hope he ends up voting for Tulsi. And of course, I mean, Mike Rounds has his, you know, he's just a Bush Cheney guy and that is what it is.

00:31:44 Speaker_01
However, the Joni Ernst saga, which again, God bless Joni. Heat is off Joni now. She's back in the club. As long as she votes for Pete and votes for Tulsi and votes for Bobby. She's back in the club. But maybe Senator Rounds is next.

00:31:59 Speaker_01
Boy, wouldn't that be fun to primary Senator Rounds. Blake could run the campaign. He's from South Dakota.

00:32:07 Speaker_01
By the way, if you chase like 5,000 votes in Rapid City and like 10,000 votes in Sioux Falls, you're like half the GOP primary electorate swing vote.

00:32:17 Speaker_01
And look, I hope he goes behind it, but he's been very wishy washy, very unpredictable recently with his support of president Trump. So I hope that ends up changing. I hope he ends up going and we want to see that a reporter.

00:32:32 Speaker_01
asked me to say, well, Charlie, does the criteria of who you're going to primary is just on the cabinet officials? I said, well, that's part of it. It's a large part of it.

00:32:39 Speaker_01
But it's also, they're so out of alignment with what Republican voters want, specifically Republican primary voters, that it might just, we just might need a Tommy Tuberville in South Dakota. We might just need a fighter, a Mike Lee,

00:32:56 Speaker_01
We might need a real MAGA Senator. We might need a J.D. Vance in South Dakota. So many of these guys are grandfathered in from the pre-Trump days. They're dinosaurs. They are relics of a dynasty that has fallen. They are remnants of a time long past.

00:33:13 Speaker_01
I don't know how much longer they're going to be around as U.S. Senators. Time will tell. Thanks so much for listening, everybody. Email us as always freedom at charliekirk.com. Thanks so much for listening and God bless.
